I found tobacco flavours very hit & miss, even ones with the same name like RY4 but from different manufacturers. If you fancy trying some without breaking the bank, try JooseJuice, their samplers are 10ml and only £1.49 ea, and you can customise the pg/vg content too, so try both of their tobacco juices at different mixes, and different nicotine strengths to see what hits the spot with you and it won't cost a fortune. When i started, only a few weeks back, i was paying £10 a bottle for 10mls, and most of them are sat festering and unused as they were so bad. JooseJuice are HEREI had a look at the stuff on JooseJuice and they say you have to steep the tobacco ones or you don't get the tobacco flavour which doesn't really work for me I'd prefer something I can just get up and running with straight away. I know what you mean though about tobacco flavours, I won't go on an endless quest for the 'exact' tobacco fix with e cigs I just want a few to try out. RY4 keeps coming up but as you say it's hit and miss depending where you buy it from. I will try one anyway, from where I don't know yet lol. silentscream - many of us ex-tobacco smokers find that a good Menthol flavour cuts the mustard (even if you weren't a menthol smoker). I seem to remember that menthol also mimics the effect that chocolate and liquorice have on dilating the airways (those two ingredients are among the thousands of additives to tobacco to keep you addicted!). There are literally thousands of flavours to choose from - sweet desserts and custards, fruits and lighter tastes, beverages like tea, coffee, cola, red bull, and many tobacco flavours too. The best advice is to try as many as you can until you find something that does the job for you. Many vendors sell taster bottles of 5 or 10ml - these work out a bit more expensive, but allow you to try flavours without having 25ml left which makes you urge! If you do buy something which you really don't like, there are 2 options. Firstly, don't bin it - your taste buds will certainly change over the coming weeks, and something which is repulsive now may be quite acceptable in a month's time. Secondly, you will find there is a healthy swapsie thang going down here, where you can swop those juices you just can't get on with for something else to try. Menthol really doesn't work for me cykensa. I hated the menthol cigs when I tried them. I suppose I need to get used to the idea of flavours to smoke outside of tobacco but I would feel more comfortable starting off with a slightly familiar taste.

I know womble vapes baccy type ones (coo-eee womble!) I think he vapes the Vermillion River Kentucky Tobacco juice(s) Hopefully he'll see this tag and tell you a bit more than I can! I will say the TJuice UK Smokes is very sweet so that one probably won't be a good one for you. I'll have a look for those thanks Sassy You can never find a womble when you need one... Paradise vape do lots of tobacco liquids I have been vaping there benson fences for a while Cheers I'll take a look. Benson fences are they kind of like B and H? How did you get on with them? Not vaped a baccy flavour yet. I think you'll be hard pressed to find something that really does taste like burning leaves & paper. Remember, tobacco tastes different to burning tobacco. There's some nice coffee flavours, aniseed is nice, cinnamon red hots; but good luck on your baccy flavours Oh I know I won't replicate the sensation of smoking tobacco, I'm fine with that. I'll probably move on to more adventurous flavours later but as I'm completely new to all this I want to be on familiar ground to start with if that makes sense.

Welcome silentscream!! My mate got that exact kit only in blue and he's well pleased with it. I'd say you'll be happy with your purchase, good luck. Cheers mate, yep I have stopped faffing around and I'm very happy with my choice now. I see you answered my tobacco liquids thread. Did you mean to put a link in there?

Hi everyone I'm about to order a starter kit and can't wait to enter the wonderful world of vaping. All I need now is some e liquids to go with it. The problem I have is I'm not really into sweet tasting flavours and want to start with more traditional tobacco flavours. I like the sound of the Marlborough red one (US red mix I think it's called?). I smoked Marlborough reds when I first started so it would be familiar. Does the e liquid taste similar to the real thing? What tobacco or non sweet types have you tried that you recommend?
Many thanks in advance.

Yep I'm on it Chrissie, I'm working my way through it. I'll be a vaping expert before you know it, well maybe not but less of a heathen than I am now at least

Okay just wanted to say thanks a lot for the warm welcome and great help I've only just joined and I already feel at home I have decided to go for this evod starter kit I just need to get a few liquids to go along with it. I really hope this is the start of saying goodbye to cigarettes forever. I wanted to give up before but I just wasn't ready but I am now and I am convinced this is the way to do it. Thanks again everyone.

Thanks again for the info Perpetua. Is it possible to replace the battery in the kit you linked with the 1000 later if I wanted to? Do you just swap them out? Yes, they are what is called a 510 connection so are interchangeable SS.Also, stupid question I know.. but from the pics it looks like what I see as the 'holder' i.e. the actual e cig is made up mostly of the battery is that right? Again, yes. Here's a short review of a Spinner, but I wouldn't keep looking at different things as with all the choice available now you'll just get further confused SS. It's more important to settle on something, buy it with a selection of sample size eliquids and get started. Otherwise you'll just go round in circles. I know you're right about this. I have only ever sampled an e cig in a shopping mall in Wycombe and that was only a few puffs. I didn't buy it because I didn't want something that looks like a cigarette. I think I'll just get the evod kit and a few e liquids and take it from there or I'll spend a fortune on it and won't even know if I like it yet lol, though I AM determined to make this work. The few puffs I tried weren't unpleasant at all.

Welcome silentscream. It's me from ECF. Well done for joining up here. ECF is great, but it's also massive and lots of us live on here more as our "everyday vape". Hello mate great to catch up with you again. What do you think of the evod starter kit I have my eyes on? It's so black, I love black... Non of your questions are at all stupid For starters, as long as you go for a battery that has an ego/510 thread you can use an evod clearomiser on it & just about any other clearomiser or tank. The Spinner is a variable voltage battery & that means you can dial up the out put on the battery to heat up the coil/head on your clearomiser or whatever you are using on your battery to create more vapour & throat hit . I'm assuming the Evod starter kit has a ego/510 thread on it? If I wanted a spinner battery would I need a whole new kit?

Thanks for the welcome charon and yes I will definitely need guidance my head is spinning already with all the possibilities. Speaking of which, what is this spinner people keep referring to? Thanks again for the info Perpetua. Is it possible to replace the battery in the kit you linked with the 1000 later if I wanted to? Do you just swap them out? Also, stupid question I know.. but from the pics it looks like what I see as the 'holder' i.e. the actual e cig is made up mostly of the battery is that right? I will ask many stupid questions, this... I am very good at

Is it possible to multiquote here? Yes, click on the cog icon top right of the first post you want to multi quote & click on select post from the drop down list. Then do the same with any other posts you want to multi quote & then click on quote. Thanks Chrissie By the way, is the model Perpetua recommended available with a longer battery life? I don't mind paying a bit more.
