Honey, I'm hooooooooooome. Been a bit hectic around the place, but will post a full update after the wedding this week-end. Just thought I'd pop in to say - ourselves and our dogs have arrived, safe and sound. Collecting the first wave of UK wedding invaders later today, second wave arrives on Thursday and party bus has been hired for a combined stag/hen night on Thursday night. Wedding is Saturday evening and my cousin is doing a live stream of the ceremony. Will post a link (once I'm given it) for anyone who's bored on their Saturday night (10pm UK time). Hope all is well in aae-c land.

Give me links and recipe suggestions and I'll test the theory after the wedding this week-end. Never tried the original, but will see if I can hunt some down to compare against recipes. Once we've got it nailed, we'll figure something out for getting concentrates to ya.

Well, our bags are packed and we're ready to go. Dogs have been collected and house completion happened today. We gave them most of the keys to the house and we'll hand over the last set of keys in the morning. Then it's a train ride to Manchester and fly out Monday morning. Not sure how much I'll be online in the next week, but I promise I'll be back here once we get settled. Until then....

Sounds like it's all going well newdawn It was going great until yesterday. We'd a bit of squeaky bum time thanks to one of our dogs getting into their food unsupervised and having a field day of it. He ate so much, he made himself VERY sick. We took him to the vet 3 times yesterday and on the 3rd visit they finally decided it was serious enough to keep him in. Got him back this afternoon and he's definitely better, but not proper right yet. Thought we'd have to postpone his transfer to America, but we've been told he's ok to fly next week. Fingers crossed. In other news, the couple buying our house turned up with a lovely Thank You card and a nice bottle of champagne for us. They ended up hanging out here for a couple of hours just chatting and having a laugh. We definitely got very lucky on that front.

The movers turned up today and gathered everything we're shipping over, so there's no turning back now. Apparently our stuff was due to arrive in Ohio while we're on honeymoon, but the movers have arranged to have it held until we return...free of charge. Result! No harm...seeing as we've paid them silly money already. Will spend the last week washing down walls and cupboards during the day and off to dinners with various friends and family at night. I'm already looking forward to Sunday the 15th when we'll be sat in a Manchester hotel with absolutely nothing to do but chill until our flight on the 16th! Have only had time for quick stops on here, but will get back into the swing of things once we're settled in Ohio. I've also not bought anything vape related in the last month Karma but that'll change as soon as we land over there!

Had no trouble on our Manchester - Portugal trip in April. Even vaped in both airports without hassle. Carry-on had a couple of 20ml bottles of liquid with my own labels on and one tank 1/2 filled with juice in plastic bag, as well as empty tanks, batteries (in plastic cases) and mods stored in this. I put loads of extra juice in a plastic bag (because it WILL leak) in the checked luggage. They didn't even ask to check my gear after it went through the scanners.

Today I was dragged into the doctor's office. OH made the appointment for me yesterday after a bit of a scare and accompanied me into the examining room this morning. I've no thyroid and my pulse has been 168 when sat still and chilled lately. That's ridic fast and not so good. We've got a blood pressure monitor at home and that's how I know what the reading was. Turns out, because I'm on a mega diet before the wedding, my thyroid meds are kicking in more than usual. GP did a check and sure enough, I'm off the charts. I've been ordered to lower my dose of meds and chill for the next four to six weeks. Yeah, because that's possible with an international move and a wedding all in the next month. I'll lower the dose, but zero to no chance I'll be chilling. No pressure

Chris is right wibble - www.smokerainbow.com/ is THE place to go for samples that won't break the bank. You can buy a silly amount of samples from them and save yourself a small fortune on bigger bottles of stuff you mightn't like. and glad you're enjoying it here.

Don't have that particular brand, but bought one off Amazon before Portugal. It was excellent for keeping phones and iTaste charged while out and about. Get the one with the highest mAh and it'll last a goodly while.

It's the female of the species who invented that game. Trick is for the male to master it.

Things have been a wee bit stressful in our camp lately, even though I don't have to pack anything.
We were planning a small wedding with just a handful of close friends and immediate family because we didn't want to spend on a huge affair. Figured we'd rather put our money towards a nice honeymoon and the new house over there. A small garden wedding sounded perfect.
Next thing I know, mom's decided the extended family has to come too and says not to worry, they'll pay for having it at a proper venue. That's when I said, in that case I had a few friends (8) I'd left out for lack of space. With that, they decided the same...but their additional list was a lot more than 8 and they asked what our budget was. OUR budget? By then we'd already booked and paid for the majority of the honeymoon.
Suddenly they want to know how much we're putting towards the wedding so they can decide how many friends they're inviting. Marv. We got fed up and said we're paying for the lot and not to worry about it. Was best thing to do to stop the very definitely aggro that was brewing between everyone. And with that, good game to about 8k for the wedding that grew from a small garden affair into a full job with 100+ people...which we're paying for. Sighhhhhhhhhh
On the plus side, we've one hell of a honeymoon planned! Starting with 5 nights in San Diego before heading to Santa Monica for one night. We're getting lunch and a free private tour of Fox Studios in LA thanks to an old high school friend who's high up the ranks there. Then it's on to Santa Barbara, Cayucos & Monterey - stopping for two nights in each location. And last but not least, 5 nights in San Francisco. If we'd known we were paying for the wedding, we'd have either stuck to garden ceremony or not booked such an elaborate honeymoon, but it's done now so may as well enjoy it.
