Snap.  After a quick google I discovered they're a bit of a jack of all trades but a master of none.  Would definitely avoid them.

Agree completely Blownupdolly. When I moved from New York to Ireland, I shipped over 5 rooms of furniture. What a pain in the backside when half of it didn't even fit in the rooms at the new place! Couldn't even sell it on because nobody else had a house big enough for it either. Never again. This time we're only taking the dining table & chairs because we reeeeeeeally like the set. Other than that, personal belongings and sentimental stuff is all.

We'll be staying at my mom's when we first get there and have to put some things into storage. Plan is to find a house of our own asap, but until then we'll buy whatever we like over there (dinner set, cookware, etc.) and add it to the storage unit.

The thing I'm dreading most about this whole move is staying at my mom's for however long. They've got a fluffy little Havanese named Carmen that they adore and spoil rotten, but Carmen doesn't like other dogs on her turf. Add our two goofy Labradors into the mix...I predict mayhem. On the plus side, most of the houses we've seen can be bought outright. No mortgage! if we see a house we like a lot but we're short of the buying price, she'll probably fork over the difference just to clear us out of there.

I smoked 30 - 40 Marlboro a day for 25 years and was no fun to be around any time I attempted to quit. I'd get ridiculously ill at least 3 or 4 times a year, but that didn't stop me. I couldn't afford to carry on paying the price of the cigs, but the NRT dished out by the NHS didn't work and I didn't know what else to do until I stumbled across e-cigs.

AAE-C and its members have been a mahooooosive help keeping me off the smokes and guiding me towards decent gear. I haven't touched a cigarette in 5 months and 17 days and have no interest in going back to them now which is a small miracle. When my GP asked if I'd given up yet, I showed her my e-cig. She was very supportive and changed my status to non-smoker. As an added bonus, I've not been ill since quitting either which is another small miracle. I'd been bracing myself for the yearly chest infection that hits around Christmas and New Year's but it never happened. First healthy holiday season in 25 years!

NRT is a useless waste of the NHS's money, but someone in NHS would have to admit they were wrong for that fact to come out. Never going to happen. Pity. They could use that money to help struggling hospital wards around the country instead of throwing it out the window.
