battery may be fine try it on a circuit tester battery's are designed to get hot now and then some battery chargers really warm up battery's when charging them Multimeter reckons it is 3volts but my charger doesn't want to charge it. hopefully will have new charger soon so I'll try it again on that, fingers crossed.

Feel your pain bud, my nemi is a fasttech one, reckon can sort with magnets. Nemi cost £12, battery £5 ish, but origen cost £30 ish.... If mod and rda where genuine I would of been really pissed. Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk 2

Well, now I know I'm not the only one! I haven't killed my nemmi, but, as I am new to mech mods and not used to screwing the safety catch at the bottom, three times now, I have put it in my coat pocket forgetting to do it. When I have sat in my wheelchair the button has pushed up against the arm of it. The sudden intense heat on the side of my body lets me know very fast!! It gets silly hot, glad it ain't burnt you! Im usually very cautious with this stuff, I've never done it before with nemi.
My old mod would happily stand on unlocked switch but a definite no go with nemi. Wish I'd put the magnets in now!
Glad was not in my pocket! There was no Smell, in fact didn't even dry out dripper which is strange but boy it was hot...fresh out of the oven hot.
Wondering if could fix nemi with some resin, but would have to check could cope with heat first.

I'm a complete idiot, still kicking myself.
Got distracted at work, looking at pics on mates phone, and stood my nemesis up on table, forgetting to lock the switch!
Maybe five to ten minutes later I went to pick it up and it was HOT, too hot to touch!
Carefully moved it to some concrete where couldn't do any damage and waited for it to cool.... or explode.
Didn't explode or vent but heat alone was enough to damage.
The insulator in nemesis has come away and is no longer stuck in top cap. The battery is bin fodder, obviously. And what I'm most upset about the insulator on the positive post in my oriegen has melted! I checked it over with a voltmeter and is doesn't short but the insulator was melted all over coil legs and when I tried it there was a horrible taste! May be able to cut insulator and save dripper, fingers crossed.
And on top of this, I had no backups with me! In a nic craved panic I cycled to greyhaze and picked up a 3d dripper clone but after five minutes realised I didn't like it so left in box and took it back at the end of day. Found some nic gum to last me.
As a bit of retail therapy I swapped the 3d for a castle rda.... Shouldn't of really spent the cash but was feeling sorry for my self.
..... No I'm gona brace for the comments! I really should of been more careful!

hmm thanks for the info kind person anything with more ports ? seems the only down side its only a 2 port charger. like the display though and its intelligent would be great if i could find one thats intelligent with 4 or more ports and a liquid crystal display that lights up and you can see in the dark with it haha i should have specified ..... i will find one with all those specs i hope again money is no question so £50 charger would do or higher as all these £20 chargers seem cheap to me or made with cheap components im sure there are better ones. There is efest luc v4 charger too, I've been waiting over a month for torchy to get some in stock.... But if you google other places sell them... Just more expensive.

thanks for the info guys and yes i get most of the information and already new the rest i wont be subohming well probably do it in the future but the discharge of the nemi without kick is perfect for me but i do have 2x kicks coming from fasttech just so that i have the option to use if i wish and i probably will use it so that it regulates battery amps properly with coil instead of at full power all the time. and as for ohms yes thats what im looking for at the minute a higher lasting battery as currently all types will use the 4.2v with my 2.0-2.2ohms attys @10w output or round about that. as for the panasonics i have those already and they do fit the HICIGAR nemisis clone that i have.... 3400mah ones that is. will keep a eye out for higher rated ones there are ones on amazon that are 5000mah 18650s but i think there fake lol i also will get a better idea what my nemi is putting out when my voltage checker arrives today or tommorow and i have a expromizer arriving tommorow so i cant wait for that.... all i need is to find out where i can get all from the same website these things wick/wire and organic cotton wool and more ejuice lol Ah cool, with a the tankometer you'll be able to check the output from the kick, report back with what you get My thinking is a 4.2v charged battery actually drops volts when fires a bit, but guessing a kick should not do this.
Your probably right about them batteries being fakes or at the very least exaggerated mah! I got some ultrafire 4000mah that came with bike lights and only last 2-3days where as the torchy Panasonic 3400mahs last 10days with same usage!

I know what you mean, once you find what works for you the enthusiasm for messing about wanes.
Only done this for a mess about after saw a mate of a mates clouds... I'm happiest with 0.7 dual vertical setup in orieco and origen.
I really must use my other drippers a bit more, or sell them.
Got a fatty v3 that I've had weeks and not even bothered to coil. And a trident v1 which I'm gona use the base with my trident v2 topcap. Just can't be bothered.
Not sure I've the lungs for full on cloudchasing, just end up coughing.
sent via tapatalk! it works!

Are you twisting by hand? I stick them on a drill and clamp the other end in a small vice then power on till the wire snaps, nice tight twists and very tidy. The wires on the coils ain't twisted, its two strands per coil running parallel. I tried twisted before and was non fussed to be honest, though I did twist by hand. I only have a massive SDS drill to overkill for twisting wires.

Lol boyofford, looks like fun at least! Live and learn. This works good.... bit of a lung buster though Used two pairs of wire coiled together, .32mm 7wraps....came out at between 0.4 ohms True octopus with eight legs to contend with, started by twisting them, but ended up untwisting again to get under screws. Not enough air still so drilled my orieco out and works a treat

izan, what you say is absolutely correct, up to a point. Unfortunately Herr Ohm is not pressing the button. There is a dynamic going on here which means it is not quite so straightforward. I'll explain if you are interested, but it might be boring. More of a rule of thumb I think? I have seen this before somewhere.
