Curious, I got bored with trident v2, good for clouds but flavour bit muted, not awful, just muted. If you really low ohm and the coils are too close to drip tip then it will spit up the drip tip. What are you using for wick? I always used wool and 2.5diameter drill bit usually. Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk 2 Ekowool? Haven't tried that one yet, maybe I use the wrong juice for it? Coils at various heights but still not having the luck yet. Maybe I'm just a kayfun kinda guy lol Ment cotton wool.....think your just being picky lol. Seriously though, don't get it. Yeh I'm doing that, lining it up, small holes, big holes, trying single and dual coils, micro and other, cotton or silica but nope, still tastes awful lol Just using the standard tip that came with it. Work cheapo multimeter read build at between 0.3 and 0.4 ohms so guess either my mvp2 is bust or more likely I've found its lowest measurable ohms. Bought a 510 connection ohm checker of eBay, will double check when comes.
When funds allow I'm gonna get a better multimeter too I reckon.

I'm gona measure it with multimeter tomorrow, convinced its below what MVP2 will measure, can't see there being a short as easy to see in castle rda.
I did a build before that was a tough higher and it either read ohms or came up as 0.0ohms... at the time I thought it was just that I had not got screws tightened down right but thinking about it the MVP2 would of registered NON if was no connection.
Can't find anything about lower limit for testing ohms on web, but guessing most sub ohmers use a dedicated ohms meter or a multimeter.

Hi,
For all my coil builds so far I've used my mvp2 to measure the ohms, builds being above 0.5 ohms.
Thought I'd try something a little lower...made 4x 1.4 ohms coils which I figure should come out about 0.35 ohms in quad coil setup.. Problem is my mvp2 reckons it's 0.00 ohms!
Can't see any shorts so wondering if it's simply too low to measure?
Unfortunately my multimeter is at work so can't check any other way till tomorrow... Bit gutted as dieing to try it but not going to until tested as could be lower, or actually a short.
Think it's time to get a proper ohms tester perhaps.
Any thoughts?

It supposedly means you can remove the top cap from a nemesis and screw any attie straight onto the top tube of the nemo .... Giving it a hybrid appearance .... God knows if it'll work ... Especially with atties that draw air through their base rather than side .... But I thought I'd give it a bash Not sure using anything that may leak on battery will be good idea? Congrats! Don't get how the MVP2 gave you dry mouth though  Other than using to high a voltage/wattage I don't get it, the clearo is the main reason usually for differences in flavour etc. |
