Pleasure Jason ... now you'll have to prove my point with Rav's order ... as well as the one I just placed BTW, thought I'd try a dual coil and the Smokymizers as well as the usual Boges this time Will hang fire on batteries because I think I'll grab me a Don when Tim gets them back in stock, it's about time I got a mod

rav, Jason's service is second to none so I'm guessing if you ordered it this evening it'll be posted out tomorrow and arrive Friday or at the latest Saturday. Hope it all goes well and do let us know how you get on

Thanks Chrissie, I see the VV update will be backwards compatible so probably worth getting one and then adding the update as and when it comes out - have contacted Mojo (is it Tim?) to ask when they'll have them back in stock.
I like the option of having a smaller version with the Don I have to say so think I'd rather go for that than say The Cube - the Don also seems to get a lot of positive feedback!

Well yeah can't disagree there and have to admit shiny with brass bits is right up my street - just wondering if the device is good enough to justify the price tag

Thanks perpetua and Scylla Not sure I like the possibility of there being potential problems with the Rivas perpetua I was actually just looking at the Megalodon which seems potentially like a good alternative option, especially if I'm going to be spending something around £30 for a couple of new batteries and I can save in the long term by using the cheaper batteries that fit in a device like this - I also like the flexibility it offers too but can you vary the voltage? Seems to be out of stock at Mojo Republic at the moment though, can it be bought elsewhere or would I have to wait for new stock to come in? What other options are there in the Megaladon price range (or less) and anyone got any particular recommendations?

Rav I'd suggest trying a few juices, as others have said it is all down to personal taste.
I'd recommend Grizwald's Pick 'n' Mix or Mega Mix but one issue there is if you're after a low nic you might find the nic level is too high - Jason am I right in thinking these only come in medium (20mg) or can you do lower nic?
Perhaps Jason could suggest some alternatives if that's the case?
Also remember you won't find anything that tastes exactly like Golden Virginia, at least not in my experience and I've tried a few. To be honest I'd try as many as your budget allows until you find something that suits you ... and remember that your tastes may well change so what suits initially might not be so good a few months down the line. At least that seems to be most people's experience although I'm still happy with one of the first juices I tasted, 666, and don't vape much else at the moment.

Thanks BardicDruid, that sounds worth thinking about - do the eGo batteries tend to last longer than the Rivas or abot the same?

It's about time I bought a new battery, my Riva 1100s have been on the go for over 2 months now so I guess I can expect them to conk out at some point in the not too distant future.
So here's a question, should I go for the same again, go for Joye 1000mAh batteries which I believe have a regulated output but are a bit more expensive or should I go for something else, perhaps something beefier (although I don't want anything too massive)?
Any suggestions?

How long do the Riva batteries last?..........just wondering when i will need to purchase a new one? Mine have been going for over 2 months now and they're still working well. I just reckon I'd better have a spare around just in case they start to go. I guess it depends on usage but I seem to recall reading somewhere that 3 months was about average - can anyone confirm that?

The flavour I find better, but the hit is more on the Boge LR, as you would probably expect. I'll have to try these at some point although I find the flavour is good enough for me with the LR Boges. Perhaps that's partly the juice, I reckon 666 has a lot of flavour anyway. I guess you're right, it's just finding what suits really. Yeah, I think I initially found it a lot easier than some and I guess that hasn't changed. When I started vaping it was very new and felt slightly strange as I was getting used to it all whilst kicking the old habits. Now I don't even think about it much, I just enjoy the vaping and frankly the fact I'm no longer poisoning myself! No longer feeling bad (physically and mentally) about smoking is marvellous I have to say

Hi Jason, thanks for the explanation - how would you say the flavour/hit compares to the Boge LR cartomisers? Been busy this last while so not been here that much, just popped in occasionally for quick read. The vapings going very well indeed, not touched an analogue since I started which is great. I ordered some cartomisers from you a couple of weeks ago (which as always arrived very quickly and thanks for the free sample of juice) and will shortly be ordering some more juice and probably a spare battery ... still very happy with the 666 to be honest although I occasionally vape some of the other juices when I feel like a change

Jason, are the Echo batteries the same as with the Riva kit?
Also are the Echomisers basically cartomisers (and if so are they SR or LR?) or something different?

Good to read although it has to be guarded optimism when governments are involved.
Have you guys read the comments? Boy are there some crazies on there shouting about banning all nicotine products, some seriously ignorant, smug self-satisfied, arrogant gits IMHO!
