would you recommend a 20Amp battery then like this: myepack.co.uk/batteries/samsung-inr-18650-25r-2500mah-20a.htmlI will call up myepack tomorrow and present the situation and will see how they can help. At the end of the day I just don't want to end up with a faulty product. My mother really likes it when it works so as long as shes happy then I am happy even if it means buying a new mod... although I would prefer not to splash money all the time I am not that rich.

Does not seem like a good thing that it happens. I wonder if I call up myepack I would get some sort of replacement or refund and get a different mod. I just feel really bad for my mother that any minute this issue will appear.

Hello,
I recently acquired SMOK Xpro M65 box mod however there appears to be an issue with it, I was hoping this is something someone already experienced or knows of.
What happens is that occasionally once you fire up the mod it jumps to 15Watts on its own, then when you try to fire again it drops to 10Watts. It does not heat up the coil when that happens. Battery icon also appears to drain when I try to fire it up.
Also when the above issue happens the LCD starts flashing and the words are half gone. Another thing that LCD screen displays is "Check Atomizer".
I am running the Smok RSTB II atty with 1ohm. the batter is only 3-4 weeks old and I tried two different ones. The battery compartment is properly screwed on. I also tried different atomizer on it but same issue appears.
It is a brand new genuine mod but it is annoying since my mother is using it. Its well annoying as well as she can not use it when this happens.
Anyone has any suggestions on what this is or should I just call up the merchant and make him aware of this issue.
Thank you

So I just put together the SMOK XPro M65 and RSBT and I am well impressed. Its lighter than my Bec Pro and the RSBT creates far more vapour compared to my fogger 4.1 as well as being lighter, easier to work with and I pressume there will be less leaks. My mom will be happy with this I am sure, can not wait until I finish work ^^ oh and I just bought another RSBT just for myself!

I do have a mini protank from my starting days but all the coils got lost so I probably have to order a set. Would that protank be ok with one of those box mods then? It would . . . if you go for an iStick, I'd suggest the 30w version as it's a better construction, has a more robust 510 connection and it will come with an Ego adapter. Plus it gives your Mum scope to upgrade tank wise once she gets to grips with vaping - the simpler the better to begin with. You always get some of Jonco's coils for a bit more welly . . . . virtualvape.co.uk/shop/atomisers/unicoil/what is the life span of this device? I ask because with a mechanical mod you only buy the body and replace the batteries every few months which costs around £7.

I personally wouldnt mind a box mod but I kinda feel sceptical about my mom which would would lean towards something similar to my smok bec pro or a mechanical mod like design.
I mean I can get her the box mod but would be nice to hear about different design. But so far thank you so much for the quick replies and please keep them going

Hello, I just wanted to find out if anyone here tried a SMOK BEC PRO mod? or would they know anyone who has one and if they told you what they think? I had one for little over 5 months along with a Fogger 4,1 and I really like it so far. At first when I got the fogger I had no idea what I was doing so I experienced a lot of dry hits but that went away after a week all thanks to youtube tutorials. I usually keep it at 26-28 watts with 0.8-0.9 dual coil set-up. The 18650s last a pretty good time 2-3 days, vapour production is pretty good with 30pg/70vg juice (I am often called a little dragon) Haven't had any problems with it, I dropped once unfortunately but nothing happened to it apart from 2 barely noticeable scratches. Still vapes the same so pretty bullet proof in my opinion. The Bluetooth option is ok... I sometimes use it but I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy it just because of that. So again I just wanted to find out what other fellow owner of this mod think about it? Do you like it? do you feel like its a good purchase? Did you move onto something better? if so why and what did you replace the mod with. Hope to hear from anyone soon Happy vaping

Hello,
My mother approached me recently and she asked for me to get her an E-cig.
I currently use the Smok Bec Pro with Fogger 4.1 and when she had a go with it she seemed just fine after a few pufs (at first it was too strong)
What would you recommend to get her? I really dont want to get her an ego style battery with a mini protank. I was thinking of something along the lines of a mechanical mod or a 20W vamo with a Genesis dual coil tank (maybe even another fogger since I be the one to build the coils every few days for her)
What would you recommend for the mod? I have a budget up to £60 for the mod and atty (I have 4 18650 batteries and a charger + a lot of liquid for her to try)
Thank you

Hello,
I recently become an owner of a SMOK BEC Pro Mod and fogger V4 genesis atomizer.
After about almost a year of vaping I decided to step my game a little bit and learn how to use it. I could of started off with a spinner for variable or a mech mod but I don't want to be jumping between different models and spending more money along the way.
I got it and well its a a hefty looking device. sophisticated and really cool. However its complex and I wanted to acquire some helpful guidance from more experienced users. I have some questions that are bugging me and if you could clear it all up for me.
Things I currently have on hand:
-SMOK BEC pro mod (with the app) -Fogger Version 4 genesis atomizer -0.3mm kenthal wire -0.51/24awg kenthal wire -Gas torch, various size drill bits, nail clipper -Organic cotton
There is plenty of videos on youtube showing how to make a dual coil which will take some time to watch and try it all out but if you have any good videos that a beginner should go for then it would help a lot when it comes to dual coils.
Question 1: single vs dual coil? I assume with dual coil you get more vapour is that right?
Question 2: When it comes to doing a coil, what size drill bit should I use? what is the best ohm to start with to get a good vape without dry hits? I would like to get a good amount of vapour.
Question 3: When it comes to the cotton wick, how thick should it be when it goes through the coil? should it be a tight fit or bit loose?
Question 4: I believe the holes that you place the wick into within the atomizer are called wick/juice wells? should the wick stick out of them or should it be on the inside of the chimney?
Question 5: Is there any difference between using the 24awg or 28awg coil? should I always aim for the desired ohm?
Question 6: What is the best voltage and wattage to start with when vaping on a mod?
Any guides that are usefull for a beginner, anything that could help and answer the above question would be greatly appreciated. I made a dual coil for it but I experienced dry hit and a bit of coughing. I though I would learn from practising but I prefer to take a step back and do this little research first.
Thank you

Hi, I have been doing my coils for a past month but it never works out too well and I have to change or make new coils. Using a guide on micro coils from this forum: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/32391/microcoil-cotton-guideI have the right organic cotton balls, I am using 0.25 kenthal wire but I also have 0.2. 10 wraps like the guide says, squeezed and torched according to the guide. However it lacks the throat hit and amount of vapor Bough some 2mm silica wick along with the wire just to play around with it and following a few guides on youtube I do 5-6 wraps using either wire but although I get more vapor it has a burning taste. Its getting a bit annoying to sit and keep replacing coils. I am even vaping less because I either can not stand the burning taste or there is lack of flavor
