I'm happily making my own e-liquids now, thanks to the great advice I received here. I haven't managed to create anything quite as nice as my favourite pre-made flavour but I've made some quite acceptable alternatives.
The only thing I didn't get with my kit was needles, which I'll need fairly soon once the levels in the bottles go down to the point where it's not practical to just stick the syringe in. I understand I need a special needle for the thicker VG but that I could use the same type for the PG and Nicotine as well, so I could just get three of those if they're cheaper than the normal needles.
The syringes aren't great either and the plunger tends to stick, which is a bit annoying when I'm trying to squeeze a bit back out to get to the right mark and it sticks and then jumps and pushes too much out, so if there's somewhere I could get some better ones without spending silly money I'd like to do that.
I've also recently bought a SubTank Mini and I've been told that I need to get a coilmaster for making my coils.
Can anyone recommend anywhere I could get all of those together for a reasonable price? The problem with getting them from different places is often with small orders the P&P costs as much as the items, so if I can get them all together it should be more economical. If there's places I can get them separately that don't charge P&P, or only a small amount, that would be fine though.

I recently bought an airflow valve for my mini Protank and it makes a massive difference. No longer does it feel like I'm sucking on a sealed tube and the cloud is much more satisfying. I'd recommend anyone with a mini Protank to get one and they don't cost much. I'm mainly using a Cloupor mini with a SubTank Mini, which is obviously much better but I still like to use the Protank on my Clover spinner as a backup for when that's charging.
The only issue is the airflow valve seems to cause some issues with the connection to the battery and if I do it up normally, it tends to just flash the light when I fire it as if nothing's connected, or sometimes it will light up normally but won't actually power the coil. I have to unscrew it around a quarter of a turn to get it working but as it's no longer tight, it does tend to move from this position and stop working again until I re-adjust it. So I was wondering if there's anything I can do to fix it, so that it works when tightened up normally, as the Protank does without the airflow valve?

I normally charge my Cloupor mini from a 2A charging point on my USB3 hub with a 0.5m USB lead and I've never had any problems.
Yesterday, the battery was quite low but I wanted to keep using it in pass-through whilst it charged, so I used a 2A wall-socket charger, plugged in a long (approx. 5m) USB extension cable and the same 0.5 USB lead from that to the Cloupor. It was charging and seemed fine and I was able to use it but I left it for a while, maybe an hour and when I came back to it, the 0.5m USB lead was very warm, so I disconnected it immediately. Neither end of the long USB extension lead was warm. By then, it was on about half charge, so I was able to use it without it plugged in but it was rather worrying and I won't be trying that again!
Can anyone explain what happened there?

Thanks babs, I might try them for a Protank 2 v2 clone then if I decide to get one. I was thinking of getting an airflow base for my mini Protank, as that's a very tight draw. I see there's a v2 and v3 for the mini www.discountvapers.com/kanger-air-flow-control-valve-base-replacements/ and I presume the v3 works better. These reviews for the full-size Protank version aren't very flattering though, although the second two seem to be complaining more about the tanks than the airflow base! www.kangeronline.com/products/airflow-control-valveHas anyone used and would recommend them? Is there anywhere other than myepack that sells them and doesn't charge £3 shipping for a £3.99 part? I'd recommend you get yourself an up-to-date atomiser that just works out of the box rather than a year-old design that needs extra bits bolted on. Plus you'll have forgotten all about your Mini ProTanks within half an hour! And if you go for something like a Subtank Mini, I'll bet you'll be after a second or something else similar within a month! If you're referring to the mini Protank, the only thing I'll be getting is the airflow ring, as I already have the tank. So I'm not thinking of getting a mini Protank instead of the Subtank. I'm not sure I'll use the Subtank all the time due to the amount of juice it drinks and I've already got a couple of spinner batteries, which I'm not going to throw away, so might as well get the mini Protank working as well as possible, even if I only use it occasionally as a backup.

I did think of looking at Fasttech but as I don't currently have a tank for the Cloupor, I didn't want to be waiting months for it to arrive, so decided I'd rather pay extra to get one in the UK. I might buy a couple of those silicone sleeves though, thanks for the tip. Most of the colours hurt my eyes but the black and red ones look OK If you get a Subtank Mini, drop me a PM with your address and I'll send you a set of black o-rings gratis. (I picked up a few sets as spares.) Thanks ceedee but I already ordered the 5-pack of rings and a silicone sleeve as they only came to £3 and I decided not to hesitate as they'll take a while to get here anyway. So much appreciated but please save them for someone who really needs them.

Naturevape do a lovely little tank. They use their own, modified, heads and even send you a ball of cotton to rewick with. I use one, also a mini, on my Cloupor minis and they're great for flavour etc. Thanks, the mini is a bit small for me at only 2ml but the midi at 4ml would be OK. I'll bear them in mind for the future.

OK, I might get the Protank 2 as well then and I might find it better to use when out, as even though it's only 2.5ml it might still last longer, considering that the Subtank drinks juice. Is it the Protank 2 v2 you've got? I was given my Cloupor Mini by a friend, so I'll have to ask him where he got it from and if he has the card. Thanks for the links for the batteries, how long do they generally last before needing replacing?

Thanks for all the great suggestions guys. phtumshk, yeah I'd like to get something I can at least rewick easily, if not recoil, as I change flavours a fair bit (I've just started mixing recently, so once I work out what flavours I like best this might not be such an issue) and it's nice to be able to use a clean wick to avoid contamination from the previous flavours. ceedee, the Kangar Subtank Mini looks good, nice large capacity and I don't care about a slight overhang. Nice kit of stuff it comes with too. The erl does look quite sexy but I may find the sound of the airy draw not to my liking, so I think I'll try the Kangar first and see if that satisfies me. smarties, thanks for the photo of the Subtank on the mini Cloupor, confirms the overhang isn't an issue. My Cloupor's black, so it won't look quite as cool Perpetua, I've been a bit cautious about the full-sized Protank as I read some comments that it was somewhat inferior compared to the mini, although perhaps the v3 has corrected any deficiencies. Not being able to easily rewick it would be an issue for me though and it's only 2.5ml, so not ideal. dreamylittledream, the Subtank nano does look nice but again is fairly low capacity at 3ml, so the Subtank mini at 4.5ml will be better for me I think. So yeah, I guess I'll get the Subtank mini I found it on Amazon for £20.48, which seems quite reasonable. I noticed one of the reviews says it makes quite a racket with any of the air holes open though (I guess that means it can be used without any of them open but I'm not sure how well it would work then) www.amazon.co.uk/SmashingDealsDirect-Exclusive-Kanger-Subtank-Hybrid/dp/B00SYC9EXK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1430012310&sr=8-3&keywords=kanger+subtank+mini Apparently it also drinks juice, which I guess isn't surprising considering the clouds it produces but I wonder how much that's going to cancel out the benefit of the larger capacity tank. Also read that you need to be careful to make sure your battery is suitable to drive subohm coils if using the 0.5ohm coils, does the Cloupor mini satisfy this requirement? Can you tell someone gave it to me and I haven't got a clue about this stuff yet?

I'm currently using Clover 2500mAh spinner batteries with a mini Protank v2. My friend gave me his Cloupor mini and another friend's lent me a dripper but I need to get a tank for it and don't know much about them, so would appreciate some suggestions.
Ideally I want to get a fairly large tank, about 5ml, to minimise refilling. I probably refill my mini Protank about three times a day, so I might get through a whole day on 5ml. The dripper I've got has an adjustable air intake ring with various size holes but even on the smallest one it creates a nice cloud but it tends to whistle a bit when sucking on it, which is a bit antisocial to use in public, so I want to try and get something that doesn't do that. I like that the dripper has large coils and mounting posts, so it's easy to rewick, whereas on my mini Protank I find it almost impossible to rewick them without breaking the coil (presumably by pulling it out of place) as the coils are so small that I either can't get the cotton through it, or I end up with a wick too small to stop the coil getting flooded.
I've always understood the best way to vape is slow steady draws, which works OK for me with the Cloupor mini at around 10W. At higher settings it tends to get too hot. My friends tend to do short sharp draws, which allows them to use higher wattage but I prefer the method I use as it feels more relaxing and the other method feels a bit weird to me. I'm quite happy with the vape and cloud at 10W anyway, so I don't really need to go any higher.
So, any suggestions?

Sorry for the delay in replying, I wasn't notified of your post.
I'm using a mini Protank 2 with 2.2ohm heads I think. Sometimes I use an iclear16 as well.
I'm so over trying to use those micro coils. I've bought three now and two I think I managed to break the first time I changed the wick and the third I managed to change it once or twice before breaking it. I find it almost impossible to roll up a strip of cotton small enough to go through the coil which is also thick enough to block the holes at each end to prevent the head from getting flooded, especially as I have to remove the silicone seal to get it to screw into my mini Protank properly. Just pulling the cotton through the coil seems to dislodge it and stop it working and it's obviously not economical to pay a lot extra for a microcoil that I only get to use once.
I still want to get a new, bigger, tank for my Clover 2600mAh VV batteries (I've got a second on the way from Fasttech as my original 1500mAh VV battery seems to be knackered and only lasts a few hours) but my friend's lent me his old mod with electronic controls and LCD to set the wattage and I think I want to get one of those to use as my main unit, as I'm a bit fed up with having to keep checking my VV spinners before vaping, as they turn too easily in my pocket, so if I'm not careful I end up vaping on 4.4v and just get a nasty burnt taste.
I also find the airflow's much better with the tanks (not sure which ones) my friends are using on their mods, so it's not like sucking on a solid object and the clouds are much better, both of which I like. I don't have an adapter to fit my mini Protank on the mod I've borrowed (and it would look pretty silly anyway). I do have an iClear 30 which fits but the airflow's terrible, so it's even worse sucking on that than my mini Protank and it also tends to leak out of the bottom all over the mod, so I've stopped using that. It wasn't really suitable for the mod anyway, as I couldn't really set it above 10w without it giving a burnt taste, so the cloud wasn't great, certainly not compared to whatever tanks my friends were using which were OK at 20-25W.
So I'm looking for recommendations for a bigger tank (at least 3ml, preferably 5ml) to use with my Clover VV spinners and the mod, probably two separate tanks actually as even if I can get one that will fit both (maybe with an adapter) it will better to have a couple so that I can easily swap flavours and not have to keep moving a single tank between the two.
I was looking at the full-sized Protank v2 for my Clovers but then I read some negative reviews of them which suggested they were worse than the mini Protank v2. How about the Protank v3, is that much better?
I've also started making my own flavours. Haven't done many yet but I've got the base ingredients, just need to get some more pots and flavours. My friend was going to lend me his old dual-coil dripper and I loved how easy it is to change the wick on those, as the coils are much bigger. Unfortunately it wasn't working properly and two out of three of the mods we tried it with only worked intermittently and kept saying "No atomizer", so he's taken it home to re-coil and try and fix. I don't know if there's any tanks I can get for a mod that will let me replace the coils, or at least use large coils that are easy to re-wick, like a dripper but if so that might be the most economical option, rather than using ready-made disposable heads.

So you've got all your mixing ingredients but what do you actually mix it in? I'm assuming it needs a good mix. Would one of those glass beakers be any good but what do you stir it with? I stir it with a dremel type drill with a paddle made from a cotton bud like this
It really gets it mixed well in seconds and gets the mix well aerated, so cuts down steeping time, I think. My friend bought a milk whisk after seeing a video recommending it and he reckons it works great.
I decided to get the Everythingliquid silver kit, as that will last me almost a year I reckon and works out a bit cheaper than the bronze kit, not least because it's over £45 so no shipping charge.
The discount code AAEC isn't working though, so has that expired? It's still listed in this sticky allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/2/cigarette-liquid-vendors-discount-codes?page=1&scrollTo=2 so if so, perhaps someone could update that and also update the free shipping minimum order, as it says £30 when it's £45 now.
EDIT: I was trying the codes in the Cart coupon entry box. If I proceed to the Checkout screen and enter it there, it says it's not valid on sale items. MIXMASTER works to give a £10 discount (i.e. £5 off £49.99) but then it removes the free shipping option and forces the UPS £5 shipping, so it cancels it out!
