You might like the T-Juice Tee But i'd go with Perpetua and buy yourself some vape gear, starting with a premium liquid treat

On my bottle it has 'Bottled in the UK: 31/12/2013', so its been steeping for a month before I tasted it, so personally don't see it 'opening up' any more than it is as present. Also quite like doing a bit of 'post-mixing' sometimes, that is, preferably in a clear tank, adding another flavour that you think will blend well with it or in this case trying to improve a flavour I'm not keen on, or just playing around with flavours. The bottle is still the same (unadulterated), but I don't expect it to be much. Now, if it actually tasted like Chocolate Hobnobs - I know I'd be loving it!

Well done DiscoDes for keeping things clear and simple. It's good to be concerned and do your research, but at the end of it, I'm sure you'll find that its actually more simple than you first thought. Following what others use seems to be the best advice. As I see it, most manufacturers of mods recommend using AW IMR's for their devices and from what I understand, most people end up using these batteries. AW seem to be more 'honest' than most in regards to their mAh rating. I'm currently using Efest from Torchy, if you haven't found out already, you can get a good discount from Torchy when buying through UK Vapers. On your earlier post Purkle, you stated, 'because they're IMR they shouldn't be able to overheat I think?'. IMR's will overheat in certain situations and vent gases (generally only in certain situations if used without care, by the user), but not explode. That's why you'll have venting holes placed on the overwhelming majority of mods. The majority of problems that I've seen talked about, is when users are not present when charging batteries, such as putting them on charge and going to the shops, or going to sleep with a mod in the pocket, without the safety switch engaged. So it's advisable that you are always present when the batteries are being charged and don't overcharge your batteries. For battery geekiness, head along to batteryuniversity.com

Thanks Alan for adding me to the list, it escaped me at the time, to ask you to add me in. That last sentence sounds really crazy, but you'll understand what I mean, lol.

Hopefully that offer's still open Phil, I'll PM you. Will be coming along too. I've got an intolerance to T-Juice, so if anyone is interested in Hermano Rubio and/or Cubana I can bring these along, got about 25-30ml of each.

Tastes like bale of wet hay, or maybe that should be straw, when its damp and getting some mildew in it, possibly with a spot of passing rodents pee. Not that its a strong flavour, I was struck by how weak it was. Its a different flavour, but at the end of the day, wet hay is all I'm going to get from it. A different flavour doesn't make it a premium blend, so it's not worth the hype in my opinion. Got it on Saturday. Today I couldn't resist any longer and added about 50% of a home mix so it wont go to waste. Maybe it has to be this way, but it is a bit disconcerting when I see that its been bottled in the UK and labelled by the vendor, not a proprietory bottle by Alien Visions.

100ml eliquid for £20. Makes me consider jacking in mixing, it'd probably work out cheaper if I bought from them

I've been using the Ejuice Me Up calculator, so if that's what you use, double check what I suggest. I started by looking at what you would need if you were going to do a 12ml mix using your formula of: 13mg nic & 10% flavour, using VG based nic @72mg. However, it doesn't work out (as far as I understand), as you've already added too much nicotine base. So then I had a look at a 15ml mix. This gives the same amount of nicotine at 13mg strength that you require. So first of all your going to need a bigger container to mix this. So, as far as I understand it, at the moment you have 2.7ml nicotine base; 4.49ml VG and 2ml Flavouring. For a 15ml mix you need 2.71ml nicotine base; 9.29ml VG and 3ml Flavouring. You have the Nicotine base sorted for this amount so you just need to add 4.8ml VG and 1ml flavouring (or 30 drops). Although of course your gonna need a bigger container to mix and another 5ml bottle.

I have the Halo tobacco sampler that I can pass on to you, minus the tin, which for me was the best of the lot. Glad to be able to help someone else as there no use to me. Samples are 7ml each: Turkish Tobacco; Longhorn; Freedom Juice; Torque; Tribeca and HX3. There's only a few drops gone from each, enough to convince me that the're not for me, and I like my tobaccos. Personally i think this is a range that would suit ex pipe smokers, certainly not your average cigarette tobacco's. Unfortunately I won't be able to send these on straight away, but could do so in a few days time, should think a week at the max.

See your point Ballsy. I didn't make it clear in the above question, but I bought the silver fox, a hybrid, and the GUS 16 with Steam Machine, so was cleaning both mod and atty at the same time. However, having done it I think it was a good idea to clean the battery case, as depending on the model, you are getting rid of a fair bit of surface grime, which seems to be ok, so long as the threads get some lube afterwards.

Thanks for the feedback. I went ahead with Poochops suggestion and cleaned it that way. Went to Boots and asked if they had any alcohol. I couldn't remember Isopropyl, so said it's 'ice-summat-alcohol,' which led to a couple in the queue, giving me the once over, like I wanted to drink the stuff! Asked in Sainsbury's too, but seems its difficult to buy in the shops, so thanks for the link Perpetua. Unfortunately I'm all spent out now, so the alcohol will have to wait a while longer. All the bits and bobs you need to get started, soon mounts up to a lot of cash. I am talking about a mechanical, guess I should have made that clear. Just saw one of Todd's latest videos, where he mentions about regular cleaning of the contacts on mechanicals, so its something I'll want to do. I made a newbies error of cleaning the mod to get rid of the oil and stuff on it and then noticed that the safety ring was tending to seize, so applied some WD40 to it and then thought I'd apply some to all the threads. It then dawned on me that I going to have to clean that off, at least in the tank section and where it will come into contact with juice. So back to square one. Still its extraordinary how much pleasure a tube of steel is giving me at the moment. And that's even before the batteries have arrived.
