You could use a hard boiled egg. Cut it in half and put it in a sealed bag with the mod for a couple of days.

There are forums and communities with far shadier subjects than vaping out there. To ban a vaping site seems extreme when it's possible to find forums where all kinds of illicit substances are discussed openly

At the end of the day all that matters is that you find a setup you like and some juice that you enjoy vaping and keeps you off the fags. I hope you stick with it and don't go back. It's really not worth it.

Nic base about £12 for 100ml from vapers emporium VG £1.20 for 200 ml from Boots PG about £3 for 100ml from ebay or a vaping site That will make 400ml of unflavoured liquid for under £20
Add another £20 for flavourings and you have 400 ml liquid in the flavour of your choice for 40 odd quid

NAH, that sounds too simple. All experts make things sound simple. Then when you try yourself you find out it isn't! For instance to me, steep means putting something in water and leave for a while. I'm sure in this instance it means something else. I do like the sound of cheaper though. Being scottish, cheaper is a magic word. Thanks for your input, I will take a look just to see what you are meaning. I need to know basics though. What is pg and the other thing. I understand flavours naturally, who doesn't, but I'm sure there's more to it, ie where do you get your supplies and is there a big outlay at the outset. Ach I don't suppose it matters, I won't be doing it, just curiosity, which killed the cat. Yep really is that simple. Steep just means throw the bottle in a drawer or cupboard and leave it for a while shaking it occasionally. I'm no expert at this at all, it's really easy or I wouldn't be doing it. PG is propylene glycol which is one of the main ingredients. As well as being used in e cigs it is used in cosmetics and the PHarmacutical industry. It's used in asthma inhalers for example. It's available at a lot of e liquid sites or is cheaper on ebay. VG is vegetable glycerine. It's also used in the PHarmacutical industry and is also used by bakers to add moisture to cakes. The nicotine comes from your base liquid which is nicotine diluted in either PG or VG. Then all you do is mix it using a mixing calculator to get the right strength and whatever pg/vg ratio you want and add flavouring. and it's MUCH cheaper. Works out about £1.50 for 10ml.

Did you reallyClivia???? Not that I am going to do it, because I don't know what pg is or what the other thing that goes with it is either? BUT being curious, where do you buy the ingredients and how do you know what to put with what, or is their a recipe sheet or instructions. Are there special ways to mix it. How do you keep it and finally why do you want to mix it yourself? After answering, your time's your own There are a TON of recipes and instructions. Just pop down to the mixology section of this forum for hundreds of delicious examples. My reasons for doing it are firstly it's cheaper than buying pre mixed, secondly I can mix it to any strength I want and lastly with the right flavour concentrates it's possible to make anything you can imagine. For example I really like strawberry and chocolate cheesecake so I bought flavour concentrates and made strawberry choc cheesecake e liquid. Or you could make your own tobacco mixes, or basically any flavour you can imagine. Since you are now a menthol fan you could make it yourself very easily and to your own individual taste. All the ingredients can be bought easily online and there are mixing calculators to help with measurements. Just throw the ingredients in a bottle, shake well and leave to steep for a while.

I don't know yet - lol - definitely a banana one - maybe a red astaire - something nutty would be nice - any ideas are very welcome Flavourart hazelnut and add a bit of caramel to it. Very nice i mix mine 10% flavourart hazelnut and 5% flavourart caramel. Their banana is nice too.

thanks erik514 - but 1:100 and 1:10 is just toooo big a difference - so I am a bit confused - but I have time till the mix goodies arrive to get that sorted oh and jess and @zero - have cello tape and nail polish already - uff - a few pennies saved Examples would be flavourart golden rollie which some people mix as low as 1% or 2% and jack the ripple which some mix at 25%. Different brands are different strengths too so it's likely that the concentrate your friend uses is a lot stronger than what's normal here.

Clivia it all depends on the concentrate. Some tobacco flavours are mixed at a very low percentage while other flavours like red Astaire tend to be about 20%. It's all down to personal taste really and whether you like strong or weak flavours

Prohibition has never stopped people doing what they want. Everything will still be available, buying it will just change a bit.

Clivia boots VT will be fine. Once you add a bit of PG and your concentrate it's ok. It's what most people are using.
