I have been reading loads on here and to be honest I haven't a clue about custards and evods and ?????? all the other foreign names to me. Anyway, I have just two batteries, and four thingies for screwing on (clearomisers)? and I buy bottles of liquid in flavours which sound nice to me. That's been great actually. I haven't had a roly since before xmas and I can't believe the difference in my overall well being (I am 69 going on 39). My skin is better, I sleep better and I don't smell. Didn't think I did before, but I must have done. Anyway, I am on here for some moral support because, not only do I not understand the lingo on here, I am pretty fed up with the faffing on. My two batteries must be giving up, as they don't last long, so I bought another (2 hour bus journey) from the market and when I got home it won't charge. So another 2 hour bus journey to take it back. As for liquids, well, they seem nice for the first couple of fill ups then I don't taste them anymore. I am fed up with cleaning the thingie out every time I refil and the needle bottle as well. Then I have to leave it on the radiator to dry. Now I think I am looking for an excuse, because I am thinking about my rollies more and more every day. It's the thought of trying to track down cheap baccy again which puts me off. I sold my stash when I started this thinking I would never touch it again. I wish I hadn't now. I am thinking this is all too complicated for me. The more I read the posts, the more scientific it seems. What was the news item on Look North last night re something to do with vaping being illegal. I didn't catch it all, but I am thinking this is the final straw.

crazyquilter vaping is not illegal. The TDP has just limited what we can buy in the future from 2016 onwards. You will still be able to buy juice in 20mg and 10ml bottles and also the clearomisers as long as they are under 2ml size. So things like Evods and CE4/5s will still be available. Flavourings may be limited, but I am sure vendors will work a way around that. I sounds as though your coils need changing. What clearos are you currently using?

crazyquilterRight from the top, just what kit have you got? The four thingies for screwing on are what came with your batteries? Great to hear your still away from the baccy, but it sounds as if you are net getting the satisfaction from vaping. possible get a juice with a higher nicotine content. Maybe that your kit needs to be upgraded, DON'T PANIC This is the benefit of being in a forum like this, we will help in any way we can. As for not understanding the terminology and stuff, it sounds as if you are over researching, don't. Take it slowly, ask questions from experienced members but above all enjoy.

hi crazyquilter - now worries - things will soon become much clearer - I too needed to study the lingo in here - but it's much easier than it sounds and congratulations to quitting the stinkies

Oh, and you don't need to clean out every time you refill Just keep 1 tank for fruity flavours, because strawberry/apple/blackcurrant/lemon/orange etc, mix together fine, when you get low in tank and fancy a different flavour, just bung new fruit into dregs of old fruit - you often find that the apple with a small portion of original raspberry tastes very pleasant. Keep 1 tank for menthols and mint flavours and vape through eliquid change and another for dessert types, apple pie/toffee/chocolate fudge etc. Saves messing about. If I do clean out my cartomiser I just run it under a warm tap and sponge dry with paper towel and off I go again! I don't bother religiously cleaning, its too much of a chore

Hi and welcome to the forum Are you happy to buy things online? You'll pay a much lower price than you do offline and it will save you the bus journey. I tend to avoid buses and coaches these days, First Great Western seem happy enough for me to vape on the train/in their stations, but bus and coach companies don't seem to like it. I digress. Online is the way forward, as an example, the only physical shops near to me sell 10ml bottles of Chinese liquid for £5. The same bottles can be had for less than £2 online. £5 online can get you something mind blowing. If buying online is something that you are happy to do, have a look at this list allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/1148/cigarette-liquid-vendors-discount-codes?page=1&scrollTo=23191 The prices vary from site to site, as you'd expect, but you'll get good customer service from anyone on the list.

First, focus on the positives and banish all thoughts of reverting to the roll ups from your mind.
Second, ignore the talk of custards and evods unless you want to turn this from a way to stop smoking into a hobby.
I'm new to this (1 month) so I'm probably not the one to give you advice but it sounds like you've got a similar set up to mine (a couple of batteries and a handful of the screwy on things). I've already bought a slightly more flashy screwy on thing than the cheap disposables that came with my batteries and have noticed the difference.
I suspect buying a better screwy on thing with replaceable coils will work out cheaper in the long run and the larger tank means less faffing about with refills. For what its worth I've bought a Kanger T3S but I'm not recommending that - only had it a day, so it's too soon to say - someone with more experience might be able to point you in the right direction.
The only other upgrade I'd think about at this stage is a better battery (or two). I've been eyeing up the ones with twisty bottoms so you can tweak the power going to heat the juice in your screwy on thing. Perhaps get one of these and keep the ones you got from the market as back ups. Personally I wouldn't buy one from the market - find a recommended supplier on here if you can buy online
If you want to turn this from a way to stop smoking into a hobby then you're going to have to find out about custards and evods. Until then keep it simple (maybe a better battery and a better screwy on thing), focus on the positives and keep off the roll ups.

Could you get to the Carlisle meet if it isn't too far from Northumberland? After looking at the Bricks and Mortar map on here the only "local" store to you is Ecig Wizard in Sunderland. Try not to let it all get you down, you're doing well

At the end of the day, everyone here, on the forum has the aim to never smoke again. end of. Any cruddy liquid will taste better than inhaled cigarette smoke so although I dearly wish to vape something that tastes superb, I'd willingly vape anything bland rather than take up smoking again. Its all about health and money saving for me, I choose to develop this into a hobby to keep me fired up and fag free. Vaping doesn't need to be complex, just a battery and working tank, with an e liquid that doesn't taste like Beelzebubs sulphur will suffice.

Don't give up vaping now you have come so far. If you invest in a slightly better kit it can work out far cheaper in the long run. You don't need to make it complicated. I use this myepack.co.uk/innokin-itaste-vv-v3-0-express-kit.html with this myepack.co.uk/mini-protank-2-v2-removable-drip-tip.html. It's all I use and have done since the first few weeks. The clearo (stickie on bit) can have the coils replaced just unscrew and screw in new one they are washable so after a couple of refills wash the whole thing (not battery) pat dry change coil, keeping the old one it needs to dry out. I use a syringe and blunt needle for filling as it's much easier especially if your eye sight isn't too good. I got those from ebay for about £2 for 5. My kit is almost 5 months old and I have never had any problems with it I'm not really interested in going for all the fancy things I see on here.
