Hi again everyone

Thought I come back and give you an update on how its been going... To my great surprise I'm completely off cigs now (see banner!). I was going to be all organised and decide when the Big Give Up day was going to be once I bought all the kit and tried out and found my fav juices... instead it just snuck up on me! From earlier posts you'll see I got a stinking cold - couldn't be bothered to go out and get tobacco and thought - "hell I can last half a day without baccy - will vape and pick some more up in the morning". I never did - many thanks for the nic strength advice - it made it possible and EASY. Still can't believe it!!

As a summary to help fellow newbies, I got

MVP2 from myepack - brill bit of kit - lasts me 3 days between charges (wasn't sure I'd like the box rather than tube shape - but it's great)
Innokin VV/VW3 v3 from love-vaping (got the pen type - "10s" kit - one with a pen cap for easy out and about transport) - another great bit of kit
Bauway drippers from ecigs4vaping (not really needed but I did find them very useful to test all the juices)

Tanks - Iclear 30, Iclear 30s, Iclear 10s, mini protank2 - like all of them still haven't figured out if I prefer top or bottom coils lol

Juices
Basic Hangseng to keep me going from mr-ecig - 1.50 for 10mls - but postage is a lot so I buy several at a time
Tjuice samples from Smoke Rainbow (lots!)
Samples from Joose Juice

Slowly narrowing it down juice wise.

All the suppliers of kit and juice above have been great for me - very quick and good prices. No problems experienced so can't comment on their problem management.

If it helps - was on 25gms of Golden Virginia a week. Am now on about 2mls juice a day of 24mg nicotine juice.

Thanks to everyone for all your help - thanks to you I didn't make a mis-step kit wise; and your support got me off the cigs - me and wife very happy!

Will post again with more questions and stuff for sure - but in a new thread so this one doesn't get too long! Only problem is I seem to be coming down with Shineyitis - yep feel a new thread coming on

Meanwhile seem to be coming down with a stonking cold - could vape old teabags and not know the difference

xs2man - just wanted to say thank you - your liquids arrived in the post today (that sounds wrong somehow...!) - I should be getting my new vv3 kit tomorrow; the 5 new tanks will be used for glorious tasting My wife said she really loved the smell of the Amaretto - however as she neither smokes or vapes she will have to make do with sniffing the bottle lol.

Hi DiscoDes - Yay - it came

Popped it on charge - only needed 15 mins to get to full; watched some youtube so I knew how to put the clearos together (!) - then dripped some 12mg Dekang VA blend into the protank and the iclear30. .... WOW - only tried the cool protank so far - but WOW. Coughed a bit - but the taste and throat hit are pretty good Can't wait to try the highly rated juices!

Will try the warmer Iclear30 shortly - yeehaaa

Morning all - woke up sneezing at 0400 - so got out of bed to browse vaping bits rather than keep other half up...

Was idly perusing vv3 kit at myepack then noticed they were out of stock of the black so started checking the other suppliers that have been mentioned in this thread (yep - looking for backup before main mvp arrives today!). Found 2 variants of the vv3:

The first one is exactly the same as has been referred to in this thread already - no probs there. Question - is the 2nd kit actually exactly the same battery as the first but with a 1ml clearo instead of a 1.6ml?

The only reason I ask is that I quite like the idea of convenience of the "pen-top" of the 10s look for popping in my pocket for short excursions - looks to protect the otherwise exposed clearo a bit? Keeps pocket fluff out too....

I've never seen a top in any pictures of the vv3 16 kits; if it doesn't have one and (critically) the kits use the same battery, I was thinking of maybe getting the 10s kit and buying iclear16/mini protanks as required for it later? (which would preclude the use of the pen-top with those I guess)

dave - I hope you're right! I am secretly hoping to get rid of the ciggies really quickly but haven't told my forebrain yet in case it panics

bracken - thanks for the info about joose juice and tmax; have just dropped tmax a request - will let you know how that goes

Roofer - thanks your tip about bestcigliquid - will def try those baccy liquids too. MVP2 sounds good - hope the postie is kind tomorrow!

Looks as if I will have a good selection of tobacco juices to sample (ordered some samples of t-juice from smoke rainbow plus some hangseng (or was it dakang?) from myepack
