Thanks xs2man - whenever you find the time will be great - much appreciated Will focus on T-Juice - thanks for taking me to a good place without me having to walk round the houses like you have had to! I know juice is subjective - but from all that's been said, this really puts the odds heavily in favour of a Happy Days result!

Hi Chrissie & xs2man Absolutely will order more juice! Was thinking of the 10ml bottle from myepack as a test of the kit plus a tiny intro to vaping. Do you think I need more in that context? Will order several samples of t-juice from Smoke Rainbow this week (I gather it's about a week to get here?) then order larger quantities later based on how that goes. Will also try JooseJuice - are they on par with T-Juice? Lol - promised myself I wasn't going to bombard you with juice questions till I'd ordered the hardware! meanwhile .... have put the mvp2, protank2 mini and ejuice in the basket at myepack! Will hold off the vv3 as it puts the total over £50 - which takes it beyond insurance offered by free postage for orders over £40 (have to pay £6.95 for insurance above £50 order value - or risk it!). In any case - as xs2man pointed out earlier - not sure if its best to get the vv3 kit with extra tanks yet - maybe just the battery on its own later. If i like the cooler vape will get more of the protanks. If I like the warmer iclear 30 (that comes with the mvp) will get the vv3 pack with those 5 iclear16s. That's the plan anyway - sounds logical - hope it makes sense in the real world... Just thought - are some juices better warm and others better cool? Or do experienced vapers tend to settle in the warm or cool camps generally for most juices. Aargh - so many questions Thanks again for your generous offer xs2man - I'm not very forum literate - I think I successfully PM'd you earlier but I can't see any trace of it now (aka prob not looking in the right place!)

Hey folks - just saw your replies re charging and the spinner etc. That would make my backup the vv3 then! Phew - got through the "what do I actually buy" phase! Thank you, thank you, thank you Will hunt round for the "where-to-buy" just in case I'm missing deals etc. Really looking forward to the "have-a-lie-down" phase

Think I am just going to order one battery for now - taking too much time to sort out my backup! Given that initially I will be smoking rolys and vaping, the lack of a backup shouldn't be critical in the first week or so.... When I find a juice I really like, will try going vaping only and kick those rolys! Will get my backup then. Will be going for: mvp2 (comes with iclear30 & USB cable) - £35.99 from myepack mini protank 2 (not the kit) - £9.99 from myepack random tobacco flavour 10ml - £2.49 from myepack Will carry on checking the web for deal comparison prices etc then order end of day today! As always - all info/comments welcomed! Thanks When it arrives and I've got it up and running, will hit Smoke Rainbow and their T-Juice samples!

Hi lairey - good point! Yes I do have a usb wallcharger for my phone that I assume I could use with the MVP2; though I do have a powered usb hub that i would prob use more often - or would that take far too long to recharge? The vv3 kit on meyepack does come with a usb cable but for £10 less (as just battery not kit) comes without one from Innovapours (though you can buy one for another £2.50) As you say it would be good to know if the usb charging cable format is common across the mvp2, vv3 and spinner
SpiceOfLife - yikes - thanks for the heads up on this one! I had wrongly assumed all iclears were the same i.e warm vapes.... will make sure I stick to the 16 or straight 30 on whatever my first purchase is on the warm vape front

thanks newdawn - that really helps nail it down as a viable list. Just need to eliminate one more now - the mvp2 is staying for final consideration for sure. Just need to choose between the vv3 and spinner. VV3 ahead on visibility of settings; Spinner ahead on mAh.... hmmm... more browsing inbound!

Thanks all for the further and new info - brilliant! I think its coming together - my order template is looking like this: 2 batteries - both vv or vw 2 tanks (min) one cool, one warm 1 usb charger Batteries on the list: mvp2, vv3, evod twist, vision spinner Cool tank: mini protank 2 Warm tank: iclear30, iclear16 The mini protank2 is definite (hurrah - at last a decision on something!) Am considering the 2 iclears initially just by circumstance i.e mvp2 comes with a the iclear30; the vv3 kit comes with the iclear16. I gather the 16 is well liked - don't know about the 30 though... I know that xs2man really doesn't like his. I know I will have to try these for myself so I guess the big question is - do all of the batteries listed support all of these clearos? Ideally I would like both my batteries to support all of the common clearo types of thread (are there only 2 main ones?) Sorry I'm a bit woolly on that - looking at the product descriptions for the clearos gives all sorts of good info but usually not thread type) At the moment am tending towards the mvp2 or vv3 as my main and backup vv3, ego twist or vision spinner. Thanks babs for pointing out that the twist is difficult to read - I've got to the stage where I have to peer at almost everything even when I've found my reading glasses! So maybe not the twist! Ok revised list: main : mvp2 or vv3 backup: vv3 or spinner If I've read it correctly the mvp2 can support the iclears and the protank no problem; I think this is true of the spinner too? vv3 only does iclears? Thank you again for your mighty patience

Thank you all for the warm welcomes - you have a dang fine community here SpiceOfLife - thanks for Hanseng info - and the coffee tip! also info on meyepack juices from Dekang karma - thanks for juice and discount code links and comments re mvp2 babs -thanks for pointing out fastech & confirming a good myepack experience. You mentioned upgrading from the protank mini to the itaste vv-v3. Did that work out well? Were there any issues with the protank mini? Romney - thanks for Evod kit recommendation - out of interest - what did you change to later? toots and djs - mini protank and evod twist now on the list! stevenj - will follow your advice - egos and c4s off the list charon - will def try for the free p&p threshold - thx! zeldamum, DiscoDes and xs2man - thanks for nicotine strength context - I really had no clue where i fitted on the scale.. by the way DiscoDes the answer is chicken tominmids - you mentioned your evods were now going out gear due to their smaller size (vs the mpv2) . I was wondering about the size of the mvp2 - opening the question to all: is it a bit to big for carrying about use? Would you choose something smaller if you were just popping out for a couple of hours? lairey - in all honesty I think I will be looking for tobacco flavours initially because I don't know any better Thanks for pointing out smoke rainbow's 50/60p samples - will try random t-juices I guess (as they seem to be highly regarded) and hope I hit sympatico flavours early in the quest! dave - you were right - am stressing about first purchase - - but I'll stop soon nearly there! chris86 - thanks for bringing up the warm/cold vape thing. I had read about the top/bottom coil but the practical significance of this wasn't on my radar. I'm guessing that warm is what I'm going for - have never felt satisfied by the cool menthol type experience. Or am I confusing a different warm/cool feeling in vaping? -- will have to try and see I guess. xs2man - thank you so much for your really kind offer to take the trouble and expense of sending me a couple of free samples (plus many thx for the info you have provided as well) I will PM you with my address shortly - whenever you find the time to send them that is convenient to you would be great - much appreciated Right - am off of to recompile my amended options and have a ponder. Will post my final choice (or dilemma!) tomorrow - hope to order then so I can play at the weekend! Thank you all again for the welcome and support - you guys are great!

Wow - great responses - my previous post were in reply to OneDay, xs2man and dave. In the time it took me to type that, munkymunky, Karma, SpiceOfLife and babs all got in touch - Hi and thanks Have to leap off for an adventurous hour in the supermarket, so will digest your replies later after shopping and cooking for my wife - upside of being redundant is that my cooking skills have been refreshed and improved. Downside is I have learned to bake ... must stop making cake... catch up with you all later

Hi Guys - thanks all for your ultra quick responses Will add the MVP to the list for sure; I had looked at it briefly but dismissed it as "too good" (??) so looked at the vv-v3 as a functional alternative albeit with less in the mAh department. Will also build in a backup battery in the plan too. Probably pick a main and a backup battery (like the mvp and mini protank scenario suggested) rather than go for one of the kits with 2 cheaper batteries - though still open to suggestions on all fronts! The way things are going, it looks as if I shall be making my purchase from myepack. Can anyone throw any light on the juices they offer? I am really keen to try vaping as soon as I can, once I have chosen and ordered the hardware. I figure I may as well order juice from them for the first time but am clueless! In the future I will be investigating JooseJuice for sample supplies, but I gather their juice requires steeping - don't think I could wait for ages before trying out the new vape gear - hence thinking of myepack for the first couple of quick tries without introducing a delay. Thanks

Hi All Am about to take the plunge and get my first vaping kit and would really appreciate some advice. I have been reading through this forum for about 3 days and am really touched at how supportive and helpful you have been to other rookies - hats off to you all! Usually I am pretty good at google research to decide on a purchase and can come to a conclusion after enough time and effort put in - but I am am having trouble with this one... I think its the difference between just buying an object and, in this case, buying into a new lifestyle without ciggies - gulp. The beginners guide to to what all the kit is, was fantastic. I was spinning in circles before reading that lol - it really helped me understand some of the basics - enough so I could look online for starter kits and have a clue what was going on! Just enough to get myself into trouble by missing the finer points probably The 4 kits I'm looking at are www.shopecigarette.co.uk/starter-kits/Ce4-Mini-Starter-KitI like this one because it has 2 batteries 2 tanks and 2x5ml juice samples (Hangsen - good or avoid?) - all for about £20 myepack.co.uk/kits/evod-starter-kit.htmlSimilar to above (2 batteries, 2 tanks) - no juice but does have 5 replacement heads about £30. Better quality than the Ce4 above? myepack.co.uk/kits/itaste-vv-v3-o.html Change of tack here - one battery 5 tanks, no juice. The voltage and wattage control on the battery looked promising to help with experimenting to get the best from any coil/juice combo. Also the tanks (iclear16) seem to be well thought of? approx £30 finally: myepack.co.uk/kits/mini-protank-2-kit.html - about £20 Again - just one battery, 1 tank but 5 replacement heads. The draw here was the glass tank - won't crack with some juices... hmm, see how I've picked up enough snippets to muddy the waters for myself nicely! If you know of any other kits (or pick'n'mix) that you reckon are simply much better, I am quite happy to ditch this list. At the moment I'm tending towards option the 3 - the control on the vv3 strikes me as being really important - so maybe spending a bit more initially would be sounder than buying cheap first and and spending more later. I guess I'm trying to get it right(ish) first time... Money wise I am ok but would like to not spend too much (with an inappropriate first big purchase or have it mount up with repeated upgrades for a cheaper but inadequate first purchase). Got made redundant last year so am twitchy about spending unwisely - at 56 its a bit entertaining sorting out new work lol. Combine twitchy with being tight anyway - phew, must get the cobwebs off that wallet... Seriously though - am happy to spend a decent amount on quality kit so I give vaping a proper, representative try with fingers crossed that me and vaping get on well together! To give you a context - my intention is to: short term: smoke and vape - reducing ciggies as I go (so maybe only need one battery to start) medium term: get rid of cigs altogether - just vape but include nicotine long term: no nicotine at all Currently smoke rolys - don't know how many a day, but get through one 25gm pack of GV per week. Approx total cost p.a. (inc papers and filters) £530p.a. Sorry to present you with this wall of text - have got so many questions buzzing around that this came out a little less concise than intended lol. Many thanks for your patience and any help you can offer
