Thanks Bob. I've had a rummage round the net and there is conflicting information on it. Might just knock up a DIY number to get me bye at the moment. Yeah, try the DIY it will be pennies so nothing much lost if you change your mind.

Might make one using this Don't know how safe it would be, but I'm sure VapingBad will let me know if I'm being a nob. Ive got a big bag full of these if you want a couple to try out. They are a slow charge IIRC. I think there 500milliamps max The pic is an old one (mini not micro USB) the ones I got maybe 18 moths ago were 1 A which could be changed by changing a resistor. I Have posted about them here somewhere TP4056 cheap on ebay

No, not upto date, but if you got a 20700 cradle you could make a converter with 60 mm bit of wood with a brass screw in each end to fit in an 18650 charger bay and run a wire from each screw to the 20700 cradle connections. You trust him to do that? Lol I have seen him in action a few times, good man in a storm kind of bloke, plus I'm sure he has a nephew that could do it for him. ETA IIRC he regularly fixes gillybeabs mods, so nah bother.

If you can't get a 20700 cradle you could solder a couple of disk magnets to the ends of the wire, but would need to be careful EG just cable tie them to a pencil so they couldn't touch each other.

Just watch the buttons as they can shoot across the room. For things like that get the biggest clear plastic bag you can find and dismantle in that with your hands in side.

Title is coat not fill, they made that texture on purpose. But Paul asks about filling the corner chips???? And I didn't try and answer that, rather focusing on what I believe is the far more important and generally very poorly understood point, it's new to all of us after all. (I would try a heat gun for those dents btw, thermoplastic, the clues in the name)

VapingBad , surely superglue is too thin to act as a filler for the deep nicks in Paul's Octopus pics.... or am I missing something? Title is coat not fill, they made that texture on purpose.

Thanks VapingBad And idea what the ratios are for the dilution? No dilution for plastic with the Wood CA, but for wood I think it is 30-40% CA + acetone, bound to be youtube vids on it. IIWU try and find wood CA then experiment a bit, the guy I quoted would be on my top 2 or 3 go to guys on this (machining and 3D printing) so read and reread the quote and do a few tests. And you have to be quick applying it, prep your work area and have anything you may need in reach.

I have it on very good authority (DrunkJ AKA ThreeDJ16) that CA (super glue) is the thing, I'll quote CA = CyanoacrylateDilution is with acetone, this is a long established method for wooden mod bodies, the discussion I took the above from was about the dilution method getting scary hot which was probably due to humidity.

The headline is misleading (as usual) she didn't throw out of the window, she tried, got it stuck between the double glazing panes and it just goes downhill from there Oh that's al right then They didn't say if was a left or right cack-handed throw
