With lithium batteries, which all e-cigs have, top-up is the way to go to preserve your battery, the most effective way to extend your battery life is not to fully charge them. Just only charging to 90% should double you battery life, not running them down to min gives less of a boast to their life, I can't recall the proportion exactly, but their are links in the guide I wrote (see my footer). Also avoid keeping them in hot places and using your mods near full power.

The main principles are more surface-area/contact-area (contact between the coil and wick) the more vapour, needing more power, bulky coils take longer to get hot, so there is a trade of there. But more importantly having coils designed to be ran at more twice the power you use won't be good, neither will having them too small. Resistance only really matters in how well your mod will power them, it is all about the physical size and heat, airflow and wicking. Like a larger heating ring on an electric cooker will cook more food than a smaller one, nobody cares what the resistance is. Thicker wire gives more contact area, twisted and Clapton wires even more, there is no substitute for a bit of experimentation to home in on what suits you, take suggestions from folks vaping at a similar power level as you for a good starting point and ignore the ohms (as long as they are in the range for your mod).

Mostly right, well done, just the "I assume need more power to heat it up" that is not accurate. Higher res would need more voltage to get up to power/heat, but power is independent of resistance really (technically electrical power in watts derives from heating power or Joule heating of a resistor used forever to rate toasters, light bulbs Etc. and you never worried what their resistance was) There is a lot of BS confusion still being spread from when unregulated/fixed-voltage/variable-voltage devices were more popular and we only used Nichrome and Kanthal wires, but since variable wattage came in 2010 it's all far far easier: just set the power and vape. Unfortunately these rules about res and power linger and get applied to the mainstream VW vaping world like the nonsense phrase sub-ohming, res is not completely unimportant, just not nearly as important as it is usually made out to be. Don't sweet it all you really need to do is make sure you are in the range your mod supports if you are using VW or VV, mech and fixed voltage are different and res determines the power. |

What happens if the items have a fault and need to be returned? Don't amazon have any kind of delivery note in the parcels? Just the label, clearly from Amazon, but I have bought off eBay and received Amazon parcel a few times. |

I got a really pony gaming headset last week, address to me,but not showing in my Amazon account and been too busy to investigate. In a black and orange box?? If so thats what i got. Something fishy going on here me thinks. Yep, "Kotion Each G9000", feels like a real pile of junk and not even plugged them in. IIRC they came 2 Saturdays ago. |

I might be able to come if that's ok? Need to check a couple of things first. What happens at a meet up? Just informal drinks and vape? No offence if only for some ppl. Wasn't sure if the 5 names are the ppl invited or the ppl who said they can go 🤔😁 Yeah, completely informal, just friends meeting up for a drink and a catch up, everyone's happy to help out with vaping issues/how-tos and someone usually does a pizza/chips run during the evening. We can vape upstairs, but this time we have to wait until 7 so will be vaping on the pavement, but it's a quite road and there are usually some of the locals smoking or vaping outside. Between Oxford Circus and Warren Street, less than 10 mins walk to either, I think Goodge Street is even closer. |
