Nonsense term IMO unless you are using an unregulated of fixed voltage device, but for vaping in general it meant something for a few months when tanks and drippers were evolving to handle more power and it classified an emerging class of topper and style of vaping. But the continued use to mean vaping at higher power levels is so out of date, misleading and a cause of confusion it's not funny. It still makes sense logically for unregulated devices because the resistance and voltage set the power, but not really for anything else. One person could vape a 0.5 ohm coil at a 100 W and another at 20 W, the coils, airflow and amount of vapour would be quite different.

Ohms only really matter on unregulated devices as far as battery safety goes where they determine the power. In the same way the term sub-ohming just nonsense unless you are on a unregulated device like a mech mod, where ohms determine power. With regulated devices you will be pulling more or less the same current from a battery with a 0.05 ohm coil as a 3.0 ohm coil for a give wattage, it is the power/watts number that counts.
25Rs are good for 70 W per battery IMO, great all-round cell with plenty of muscle. The 3000 mAh brown LGs and Samsung 30Qs, while safe in a decent regulated device, don't have the same muscle (the voltage drops a fair bit more under load) and personally I would not choose them for more than 40 W per battery, though plenty of people using them at higher wattages.

Did you ever find a fix for this problem? I'm on my second ipv4s and it's having the same issue. Right now I'm using aluminum foil to make a connection on the left battery. Anyone who knows of a better way to fix this please help Like I said above pull the contacts forward and put some sugru behind them, B&Q used to do small packs, but you get a far better repair than putting spring contacts or Keystone sled in it.

Mesh! in Tayfun BT clone. OK, not a flavour sensation though maybe it will improve as I didn't prep the mesh or rope, running it a 70 W ATM, temp control doesn't work, no surprise there. Easy enough to build on, got it on the first go. I needed to dremel a bit more clearance or the positive post where it comes through the build deck.

They often hide behind classing mods as consumable if they have an integral battery, but yeah in general the warranties on cheap stuff are meaningless. It is better than it was a few far east manufactures have opened UK/European repair centres, though IIRC only 6 month warranty. I realise £60 can not be classed as cheap, definitely not consumable and should last far more than a year. A good retailer is your main protection, then a good manufacture who both give a year warranty and follow through as even the best kit can go wrong.

By a spooky coincidence, I to have received a ' mystery ' package from Fasttech today . . . . . Which upon opening, I found contained precisely nothing but fresh air! So you might think yourself fortunate thebishman . Mandy wins again! Though it could just be they saw the crowed funder for your poor long suffering post lady to be given a fork lift as the straps on her post bag keep snapping.
