money well worth spent then Flimflam - 14 months use is great, thats the most ive heard that type of battery has lasted. I woulda thought most riva / ego batts should be good for 250-350 charges, so barring accidents and breakages I'm hoping the three 650's I've swapped to should be good for the next 18 months at least! Cheers, John

So, just retiring my original 2 stainless steel Riva batts after 14 months solid use. If anyone wants ‘em you can have ‘em for the price of postage (90p !) Both still operate, and one still holds a decent charge, t’other not so much. I reckon they’ve had maybe 300 charges so they’re getting to the end of their lifecycle. Maybe some use for a modder/tinkerer? Drop me a pm if interested. Cheers, John

I have worked in IT for ... Heh, same here. But I'd never recommend folks getting stuck in and about thier pc with a household vac. ESD damage is often latent and may only manifest later in unexplained hangs or reboots for example, so why risk the hassle? Better to use compressed air or a safe handheld vac IMO. Cheers, John

I use a vacum cleaner to clean out the dust. Ooooo dinnae do that! Household vacuum cleaners generate a lot of static electricity that can severely bugga your computers delicate innards. Service techs use shielded ones but they're pricy. Some good tips on cleaning here if you're interested: www.computerhope.com/cleaning.htmCheers, John

... It's more the social side of things that I'm struggling with. Like when I used to walk to the shop I would light up a cig so I wasn't walking to the shop doing nothing, if I never I would feel very self conscious if that makes sense. Hi ewol, Being as you're pretty new to vaping it sounds to me that you might be missing the familiarity of having something 'ciggy' sized for your hands to play with while drinking / socialising etc. Though it goes against what most advice would be (for quality of vape and such), maybe getting something like this for those occasions: www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-vape-escape-pcc-kit-**introductory-price**~425Just a thought, but a lot of the attraction of smoking tabs is down to hand to mouth etc, and nowt to do with nicotine and such. BTW, the one I've linked to has the same thread fittings as Rivas etc so all your cartos etc would still fit. 'Nother thing I found useful was to have some 'bitter' juices on hand for when having a few beers. Sweet / minty ones just don't go with an ale or three! Few good 'boozing' baccy flavours: Hangsen: HS Delight, Impulse, Storm Dekang: Tobacco, Desert Ship, DK Tab (this one is pretty much the twin of HS Storm, but yer cartos last 'bout twice as long ) Cheers (and keep the faith!), John P.S. If you do get a little 'cigalike' like the one above, get at least 1 extra battery. They don't last long! Edited for spelling mistales

I'll give them a try flimflam, i do like a beer at the weekend Just wondering how much juice and what strength i should be using as a comparison to 20 marlboro lights a day , three days in ive done a 10 mil bottle of HS delight Heh, same here I used to smoke marlby lights as well (preferred rollies though). I'm also a fan of the HS baccies. If it's any use to you, I get through 1.5 - 3 ml a day of 24mg (lower end if busy, upper end if up late or boozing ). If you're on lower mg than that I'd defo suggest upping it if you start struggling or with a drinky or two. Cheers, John

Second what Storm said. Also, I find that booze tends to dull the old buds somewhat, so going for stronger juices seems to work well with a beer (or three). If you're into 'baccy' juices a couple of good boozing juices I'd recommend are HS Storm and Dekang DK Tab. Bladdy laavly with some beers thay are! John

Raulr, your explanation about battery power isn't right. I think you are confusing mAh with volts. Higher MAh batteries last longer between recharges, they don't "evaporate liquid more faster than in a 650 and short the cartomizer lifespan in certain way" Second that. Raulr's explanation is just plain wrong. The MAh rating of a battery is purely a measure of capacity, ie how long it will last between charges. Not how much power it gives out. Not to get technical (I couldn't if i tried ), but think of it like a car - the MAh rating would be the capacity of the fuel tank, the volt output would be the power of the engine. Bit worrying if a vendor doesn't know this TBH. Doesn't inspire confidence John
