Mark, honestly you will get used to the size The Riva 1100 is only about the size of a cigar & anything smaller would drive you nuts due to battery life. Second that Honestly mate, I reckon you'll be kicking yourself in 3-4 weeks if you send the Rivas back and go for a mini cigalike. I started off on a SkyCig (like the small Aio/510 thingies), and the constant charging of batteries was driving me nuts within a month I admit I find the 1100 Rivas a tad on the large side, but the 650's are a really good compromise between battery life and performance. However, if even the 650's seem a bit big to you then these might be the way to go: www.vapeescape.co.uk/mini-ego-batteries-%28400mah%29~403Cheers, John

Hi,
If you're willing to split, I'm interested in the 510 Boge LR's.
Cheers, John

Oh noooooooooooooooooooo....................does this mean more spending? ????.............................. Possibly, but you’ve only been vaping for what, three weeks? So rather than go crazy trying out VV and loads of different stuff I’d suggest a more measured approach Basically, if you’re like me, you wanna minimize the variables so can narrow down what does it for you. On that front there are basically three of them: The voltage your device kicks out, the resistance of your carto, and the nic strength & flavouring of your juice. So, take it in stages: 1. Stick with your Riva just now. That’s one variable out the window – it’s now a constant 2. If you’re using a standard resistance carto, try a low resistance one instead. If that doesn’t do the biz for you, then also move to 3 below. 3. If you’re using 18mg juice, up it to 24mg. Also try to go relatively heavy on the PG, eg 70/30 or 80/20 PG/VG. These mixes are very common though, eg most of VE’s juices are this kind of ratio. A note on cartos (common types, and just my experiences of them): Clearomizers – good flavour/poor TH, Visions – good flavour/OK TH, Boges/Kangers – good flavour/best TH. A note on juices (again my experiences, others may differ) – Tobaccos and menthols seem generally to be better in the TH department, fruit and sweet flavours less so. Though nic level is important, it’s not the be all and end all – eg I have a Hangsen RY4 and an HS Impulse here, both at 24mg, but the Impulse blows the RY4 out the water in the TH dept (as does the Dekang Mint) My several cents for what they’re worth, John

If ya wanna get juice out of a Boge for whatever reason this little gizmo is just the ticket: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=suppliers&action=display&thread=3235&page=1It's the Griz Whiz! Check out the vid, the dog in the background is completely unfazed I don't think Jason sells them any more, but it's dead easy to make yer own (in my case an old syringe and a shoelace!). Being an inveterate scrimper I hate to waste perfectly good juice, so I use it to extract juice from an old carto when I want to swap to a new one John

Hi, If it's the Jacvapour Vgo your talking about, then I believe that's an 808 thread fitting. Battery wise it's performance will be similar to a Riva of equivalent rating. Personally I'd go for the Riva as the 510 thread fitting is more common, so there's more choice of cartos etc to put on the end of it John EDIT: But then again, Perps's brain is bigger than mine, so she's probably right!

I have 3 types of "all day" vapes. Tobacco: HS Delight Menthol: HS Menthol Sensation Coffee: Doppio Expresso I have 3 'all dayers' as well. HS Delight, HS Impulse, and Dekang Mint (at the mo). I decant 10ml at a time from the 30ml ml bottles, and cycle them in 10ml batches so to speak. BTW, from your post it looks like we might have similar tastes, so I'm thinking the Doppio Expresso might be up my street flavour wise, what supplier did you get it from? John

Just gotta say Kudos to Toby at iVapour Elixir ( www.ivapour-elixir.co.uk/) Emailed him with a question about his eGo DCT tanks yesterday eve, and got an email back at 12.45am this morning Does the man never sleep? Had a couple more Q's this am, and he came back to me super quick. It was like having me own dedicated carto tank advice line So 'mucho grazzias' Toby. Big thumbs up from me here. John
