Throat Hit............

OK...........I suppose what I'm trying to achieve, is the throat hit & tobacco taste I get with smoking analogues. At present, I'm vaping mixtures of VJ American Red, Virginia & RY4 at 50%/50% mix and 18 nicotine. I am also waiting for Mr. Postie to deliver some Storm, which I think I've ordered from Health E Vape, but I can't find the order ( gone mad on the spending & got orders coming out of my ears... ), which I think is possibly 70%/30% at 18 nicotine. My question is this: I'm not getting the hit I'm looking for & keep sneaking analogues ( roll up's ) in to satisfy the urge, which I don't want to do. Should I up the % or nicotine for now until I find a happy medium?, or maybe I need to try alternate tobacco flavours........

If you up the nicotine level it definitely gives a bigger throat hit Chris, but obviously more of a buzz too!!!

Funny old thing is throat hit, as discussed on vttv, its seems to be different for everytone.

For me-if all else is currently failing, there is only one thing to do, get the 306 and DD, never fails.

I can often live without worrying about throat hit but then pang, I need it again, menthol usually gives good throat hit and Mentholyptus will defo do the job and it will scrub all your upper tubes at the same time #icon_rofl# Its fantastic

If you are sneaking in a few crafty smokes you will probably want to up the nic level to 24 or 36.

I tried some 555 36mg from Britvapes on a recommendation by Batty, it hit the spot nicely.

You could also try getting a much higher or pure pg juice for better TH. Its early days for me too but Ive found some satisfying and some nasty vapes so far

70/30 should do it...and maybe upping your nic. I have a few crafty smokes but I'm okay with that. I never buy 'em. I just nab off ill doing friends

I've found flavour, throat hit and mouth feel to be more important than nicotine levels. I've usually got at least three flavours on the go at any one time - different strengths, different ratios, different containers - and if one isn't hitting the spot, another one usually will. I still haven't found anything that's really like smoking, although Smokey Hickory comes closer than any tobacco flavour juice, but I can always find something that will put off the need to smoke. So far, I've been putting it off for ten weeks.

Thanks for the response guys..........maybe I'll try ordering a couple more juices at higher % & nicotine & also have a go at Britvapes 555................

I agree about the nic content - the other thing I find is that I prefer 'misers at about the 2 ohm mark for hit.
When I first started and wasn't getting enough hit I'd keep puffing away in the hope of getting one. On one occasion I nearly passed out because I was OD'ing on nicotene! I have since found that the answer is to just stop vaping for 30 mins or an hour. After a rest from it I find the hit comes back

Personally i find increasing the voltage gives me a better TH........Currently 4.8v........20mg.........heaven

I've noticed that not all suppliers give the option of the VG/PG %......which suppliers are the best to look at?

I found pure PG juice good in the beginning for throat hit.

your order should be with you tomorrow the 18 yr tobacco is a very nice tobacco close to analogues let me know what you think .also i find the diffrent clearomizers or tanks etc all give diffrent throat hits also like stated above higher voltage will also

p.s if you ever want a diffrent ratio just ask and im sure i can sort it

Same here. My LT set at 4.7v is great when your require a decent throat hit.
