You can use a mech with any kind of cart/tank/atty but yr missing the point.
When using a mech (without a kick) you can not adjust the voltage or or wattage (and as a result the amperage) directly, the only thing that is directly adjustable is the resistance of your atty by rebuilding it's coil, and so by doing that achieving your other stats.
To understand what yr doing to first need to understand ohm's law.
So buying a mech without understanding what yr doing and with no intention of rebuilding your coils to your liking is like buying a car stuck in gear and without a gearshift, hoping it will drive smoothly.
The pros of a mech are that you can drop in ohm below what a regulated mod will allow you, its shorter then a regulated mod, it will also last much longer cos there are no electronic parts that can break down. The cons are the it's not adjustable (like stated above), it doesn't protect you from anything stupid you may do, like shorting the battery or over using it below the recommended point, there are no flashing lights are error messages, when something goes wrong you need to figure it out on yr own.

It is 1.3 but it would sometimes go lower and would sometimes show "NON" and still fire. It is a strange device.

Rebuilding the Nautilus coil will make it preform even better, but it's a bit tricky.
1. The coil has to be placed exactly within the grooves (not too high, not to low and straight), It is highly recommended that the coil leads are as straight as possible, since you will be using them to place the coil correctly. 2. The coil leads will be longer then what you're used to from rebuilding other heads, since the Nautilus head is quite long, as a result you should do 2 less wraps that what you're used to. At my first try i was aiming for 1.4 ohms with 7 wraps of 0.30mm but ended up with a 1.8 ohm coil, my next build was 5 wraps at 1.3 ohm. 3. If you're using a cotton wick (which you should), make it more robust then what you're used to, otherwise it might move when you insert it into the grooves. 4. before you actually try to rebuild it watch a vid, here a nice one:

I got both aero and nautilus around the same time. Now my aero just sits there unused, just because nautilus is so much better. I can say much about iclear30 but non of it is good.

Iv'e got IGO-W3 and i want something better. As i understand, the original trident and the rainbow heaven clone are almost identical, but how is the fasttech clone compared to those?

Hi everyone, Been a member of EFC for a while now and while i was there, one of your members suggested i try AAEC. I think i'll like it here, especially since it's not as big forum as EFC, but still very active. I'm not actually from UK, but hey nobody's perfect:) Here is my most used gear atm:
