Old fool scores another own goal. The 30% failure rate during assembly is no more. The Zapper needed a new battery.

Hi GunJackI have 2 10ml bottles of Mixmaster Pear Drops concentrate. They were sent to me labelled sherbet lemon but as soon as I took the top off I knew it was pear drops. PM me your address and I'll send them to you.

Well I've finished replacing my regulars recoiled coil heads with NR/R/NR coils so it's open house.
For every 2 GENUINE Nautilus BVCs you send me I will send you 1 coil head with a horizontal NR/R/NR coil.
Note:- these are not assembled by a robot in a factory but by a clumsy arthritic old fool in his garage. The ohms will vary. Typically from 1.2 to 1.5. You should get months of use from them but some may fail early. The most common failure is one of the welded legs coming off and the display then reads 0 ohms.
Tips:- before rewicking look down at the coil to see if it's central. If it's over to one side then insert the wick from that side to centralise it as you pull the wick through. Be gentle with rewicking as the more you pull the coil about the more chance it will fail.
3 family members have been testing the NR/R/NR recoils for 3 months. Most of the coils are still in use. 1 flooder caused by my not checking the grommet before assembly. It had a burn line from having been preciously used with an all kanthal coil. 3 'legs fell off' but 2 of those were from when I was using silver crimps for the joins. 30ish% of the NR/R/NR coils fail during assembly when I twist & poke them to get rid of hot spots so only the stronger welds make it through.
PM me if interested.

Thanks that's great BUT I never feel obliged to recoil them. I just love doing it. Please send complete coil heads if possible as I'm now finding that some I'm getting back to be recoiled after months of use have damaged threads that screw into the device.
The only bit I don't need is the O ring. I ordered 500 red replacements so I can tell which heads have the NR leg coils.
Your wish is my command smifee ! I've been coiling like a man possessed. As fast as I build up a stock one of 'my vapers' returns their stock for replacements.
Did a stocktake and found I have over 100 BVC bodies waiting to be drilled so I don't think I'll run out of replacements soon.
Sooooooo grommets only is good as it will save on postage. Royal Mail want a 'Large' stamp if whole coil bodies are posted.

I can start collecting aspire coils too. I don't have anywhere near that number (think I have 4, haha) Out of interest, what do you use the used coils for? I only keep them when I think they have slight life left but the flavour isn't quite what it was. I've binned a load of them! Will remember not too in future! I recoil them with a horizontal coil so that they can be rewicked easily hopefully for several months until a new coil is needed.
The rubber grommets, that the bottom pin goes into, eventually fail and I can't find a supplier of them. This is the only way I can get the grommets.

I am a real 'anorak' about norty coils and can bore for England about them. When trying to identify the cause of the flooding the size of the wicking holes was one possible. In this case size doesn't matter.

Great pic and it gives me a chance to show how to spot a clone. From the top count round 6 and compare the grommet,on the pin at the bottom, with the next one. The genuine has twice the depth. When recoiling them I need all the space available and the clone grommets put the top of the pin too close to the new horizontal coil. Doesn't change the deal though Pepperty. I'll post the Cleito coils Mon or Tues.

Hi Pepperty One pack of 5. I paid £8.75 per pack so that's 24p per used coil. You pay postage to me & I pay postage to you. Deal?

Have you got a hoard or friends who use them?
I will be offering to trade various items for quantities of used coils:- Boxed Kabuki 510 clones, 5 pack Cleito .4 ohm coils, Mor Crann mechanical mod, Provari 2.5s, spares for Nautilus & Mini, & 5 pack Nautilus BVC coils.
Please note I only want genuine Aspire coils. No clones or BDCs.
To give those interested time to collect I'll give a couple of months before posting items for trade.

The problem is that as more of 'my vapers' are using recoiled heads I am selling less stock coils. This means I am not getting enough used coils to get the grommets from. I'm collecting a bundle for you smifee to use for ' parts ' . . . . so you don't feel obliged to recoil them, having already done a lovely batch for me - I'll just send you the grommets when I've got a few more gathered up. Thanks that's great BUT I never feel obliged to recoil them. I just love doing it. Please send complete coil heads if possible as I'm now finding that some I'm getting back to be recoiled after months of use have damaged threads that screw into the device.

Thanks for all your suggestions. As Get Off My Cloud pointed out if I wanted them in the hundreds of thousands I could get them easily. Postmodern Smoking the clone bvc coils grommets are not as good as the real thing. I was having 5000 made before finding out the cost of the production tool. Tomo I've tried quite a few companies and only one was prepared to make them. I think I ought to make clear that I'm not looking to make a profit from this. Explanation:- I am a retired old fart who has always been a cackhanded practical numpty. I can't even assemble flat pack furniture. Encouraged by several forum members I decided to have a go at mixing & recoiling. This was met with much hilarity by family & friends. To everyone's surprise I did it but soon ran out of new people to mix & coil for. A car boot sale led to about 30 'customers'. As I didn't want or need to make a profit I found ways to get rid of it. Free cases, vape bands, lanyards, drip tips, seals, liquid samples and recoiled heads. The problem is that as more of 'my vapers' are using recoiled heads I am selling less stock coils. This means I am not getting enough used coils to get the grommets from.
