Today I received 85ml of juice, a fair selection of delights. And I was greatly saddened. For it was a return to sender and had been all the way to Melbourne and back as the recipient probably wasn't well enough to collect it... Back to the post office tomorrow.

I knew what I wanted but darn could I find it... So..., Instead of Fred Wedlock's Jet Plane (also covered by the Barren Knights, badly) I offer, by dint of some weird time slip, an earlier, blander rip off best described as nice by some chap...

gibla53 I applaud you. I think you just gave yet another well utilised day to the cause. And yes - the big question - how to get people to become activists and engage. Effectiveness of communication styles within a corporation is simple and boils down to three bullet points: - Textual communication is okay
- Verbal communication is good
- Face to face works
Which isn't to degrade the value of keyboard skills - I've obtained a number of signatures through private email / messaging correspondence and keyboard warrior advocacy has value in educating (although the value of one amongst a hundred comments is questionable and it may be more productive to, where the functionality exists, to boost the ranking of a comment). And, of course, those entering signatures from the slips of paper received from B&M stores is essential and positive use of time. My biggest concern with Dodo boxes is where they are not used and a promise to sign is instead solicited... Nowt beats a signature in the box (apart from one entered on-line in the shop). Please continue to post - these days this is my primary forum (although UKV remains a useful resource)

I reckon us individuals have too small a sample each - perhaps we should consider a frequency chart or two...
Summat like a rolling 45 day of delivery as our sample with #time_to_ship as one dimension and #duration ...
Of course where the weekends lie in the delivery cycle will be impact but it would be fun to see the average and upper / lower quadrant as well....
Maybe it's time I looked at Google Form stuff after all (I've an unfulfilled promise to look at regular expressions in forms for validation on my stack already).
(Sorry for all those thinking WTF after reading this - if you don't know you're blessed). Tom

In fairness, I've received one package in ten days and average is just shy of three weeks, excluding stuff which says in stock in ten days, which should be taken with a pinch of salt.
No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted

The one thing that appears to be nearly when it comes to Steamgunk liquids is Steep Steep Steep - Some are really quite pleasant when young but every one (apart from a couple of tobacco flavours, which I've established I'm not good with right now (all tobacco)) really benefit from a month or more in the bottle (the most extreme case is Lemon Meringue Pie - a friend said it was their all day vape but needed months of steeping - I begged that when he came over last he'd bring me a little to try firmly expecting to send him back with my revolting young LMP... well, he went back with it and I'm very happily vaping some three month old which is just wowza)... So, like a fine wine...
Snikerdoodle is just oh so yummy.

It could be worse... Consider - for a number of festivals in many countries, it's common for people to migrate towards their home town and perhaps add a few days as vacation... Where there's a large Chinese population, the New Year is notable for this... The upside... You'll have forgotten that you've ordered this stuff and come October you'll have this wonderful surprise....

Phoenixflame (Julie) & all others who might step up... I'm a low volume volunteer. The biggest challenge I've found inputting signatures (I'm not doing very much) has been reconciling addresses and postcodes, along with the vagaries of handwriting and combinations therein. For addresses, I've found www.streetcheck.co.uk/ indispensable and I operate with two windows on my monitor - one taking up two thirds or more of the screen with the input site and a second with street check, maps and any other search I can think of... Slim (my regional co-ordinator) recommended entering postcode before address but I type very quickly and find it easier to type an address before checking the postcode Avoid the temptation to replace initials with first names and to make up street numbers to complete an entry - each error caught in sampling is likely to be magnified most horribly when accuracy is extrapolated to the whole dataset (and I've no idea of the method for checking other than what Slim's derived from his and others research (say the sample is 250 - that's 5% of 50,000 and 25 are bad or perceived as bad, then that 25 results in 5,000 signatures lost - others may not handle this in the same way but I know how I would have managed sampling in my career...) Turn off auto-complete if have it enabled - else it's easy to replace some of what you've entered if your mouse pointer is in the auto-complete `pop-up` frame.... Sounds complicated - it's not and you'll find your own way of working (what I've described works for me). For an easy record, I find myself spending roughly 90 seconds... the most I've spent is about 10 minutes (but I can be a bit obsessive) in trying to ascertain the complete and correct details. Hats off to you, good lady, for volunteering.

Then there's vapers like me. Sat watching the cricket, vaping away on a vivi nova. Takes me five minutes to recoil. The blow torch is in the kitchen where it belongs. My box of tricks has a spool of kanthal, ecowool and nail clippers. In fairness, cycling through cotton every two or three tanks is no hardship - takes a couple of minutes more to re-wick a couple of kayfuns... The cotton will last a lot longer but, I don't know, something about the way it becomes so gunky - I feel better about changing it frequently... I was thinking as I was writing, earlier in the thread I'd used the phrase "subjective" a lot... now, we all know ones perception changes over time and subjectivity is dependant upon perception so I think I've found what went wrong yesterday I'm a little confused, though... Blow Torch belongs in Kitchen? That's weird, isn't it... Blow torches belong in workshop / garage and only wheeled into kitchen when you want to worry your guests. I'm at times a little envious of the convenience of your Viva Nova at times... My second month of vaping was with a clutch of protanks (and MT3's that didn't play nicely with my choice of juices)... I still have one (which holds the end of Mrs Lords Hot Toddy, 18mg, way too strong for a KF) and I went out and bought an iClear30S wondering if it would work out well for me keeping it simple... It's purpose these days is to slowly work through an old bottle of 18mg RY4 and 18mg Wizards Leaf (a tobacco flavour I'm still partial to)

Nope - not about getting your act together - simply the learning curve (which in itself is addictive). How right you are Tom, 4 months ago I avoided microcoils as they looked far too tricky. One evening I plucked up the courage, and voila, a coil which worked! The cotton wool business is also trial and error, but once you have the principles in place, you very soon learn just how much to use. A year ago I wouldn't have even know what a Kayfun was if someone threw one at me; then I found out a bit more but once again recoiled (see what I did there!) in horror at the thought of attempting a build. Now I have two Kayfun-style clones and they are about all I use for 85% of the time, so it just goes to show what can be achieved by someone as technically unskilled as I Alas, that learning curve never stops... nor does the thirst for it (at least I hope)... Fortunately, there's always room for improvement in the search for The Vape of Perfection. And there's the stuff you think you've cracked and then... So... to prove my point: today... One hand covered in Scopes Apple Pie as cotton had risen above the air hole on KF3.1 as I'd put a little bit too much very loose (low density) cotton on one side the night before.... Slightly dry but ultimately satisfying home made Apple Pie and Custard (my first successful mix) in my KFL+ as I have too much cotton between the coils (should be able to slide through without bunching but not too loose) One incredibly harsh hit from my Expromizer just as I clicked on "notifications" (let us call that an adverse serendipitous moment)... caused by... to be determined - was all working out just fine during the day as an occasional and I can see there's about three ml of Snake Oil in there... Now I always have these three atties live sitting on mods and never mind how consistent I can be over a week, there will always be days like yesterday (or today, when I see the results of me sitting down yesterday to change the cotton)... And a friend of mine is going to come over tomorrow afternoon seeking help in building his first coil but it's only a dripper what he's just bought (turns out to be a Kraken clone which he wants to use as a dual coil auto-dripper)... Now I can only write the above because he's (to my knowledge) not on the forum.... so I shall re-watch a Youtube video and exude sham confidence

My error was to try and put less dense cotton in the coil and compensate by putting a little cotton on each horizonal channel - one lifted... I mean really lifted.... Should have taken a photo... Not sure it was a refill thing, although I've also made that error.
Haven't done the tank turning thing but I'm ashamed to say that I've twice forgotten the top of the chimney on a Kayfun... One damp hand experience and one ominous looking damp patch exactly where you don't want a damp patch on a pair of jeans...
