Adam78 I see that The Vapour Bar have them for £20.50 (inc shipping) enjay - If you also have the V1 - how significant are the differences (I think air holes have moved and it's lost an o'ring, but that's all I know)

Hey Rob, Just a quick word of thanks for the perfect delivery. I've split the batch and sent on to Oz with some other choice treats.... Remainder will be sent on in a week or so's time.

I think the Trident clone is going to be enjoyed (be warned... O' rings will /should make a very tight fit.
Oh... One plus for FT. I occasionally get vapemail if completely forgotten about and regardless of content out quality there in, I rather like that

On the Squape front, I received mine a few days back - the base is terrible - horrid threads and, as anyone following will know, the manufacturer anodised the base after drilling / threading. I managed to make the connection (no hard short for me) by distressing the deeper threads with a very small hard screw driver.... So, I now have a connection. I reported the state of it to FT and received notification two days later that a replacement base is going to be sent out. Poor threading isn't unique to the Squape and I find myself wondering what size taps to run down male 510 threads would be a good investment - anyone know? Oh - and like newdawn said, always always read the discussions. The mere presence of the reviews are useful though - it means that people have received the product your interested in and thus discussions will offer you the true picture. One other thing - I've no reason to doubt the use of the word "authentic" - however, I find myself wondering if Authentic includes flawed original product dumped by the manufacturer or outsourced manufacturing facility - I recall some protank heads I purchased early on in my vaping journey - they were the second purchase and when they arrived it was clear that the silica used was of a very low grade of purity. Ultimately, Todd's automated replacement of "Fasttech" / "FT" strings in The Shed is pretty much right ("The Lucky Bag Shop") - Sometimes product is brilliant - sometimes worthy of the bin.

I don't see the video in your post but the idea caught my attention and I went a-hunting. Found this (hopefully got the time stamp right): This is the product link from the youtube vid - not sure if it's the original or not but Woot! I've finally found somewhere with the Nemesis (real) in stock... Not that I've the cash for one right now. Very tempted to order the hybrid adapter from FT. Thanks for spotting.

I had a reply from Guys Magnets today - they have looked into my N45 enquiry, have sought pricing, purchased (I think) and plan on selling them in a couple of months (slow boat).

Was about to step in with advice and then saw the guidance from ionian - spot on (although I added a spare o'ring top and bottom to the existing ones) - I've also seen flooding of the air hole due to the amazing wicking using cotton - it takes some trial and error to get the right density of cotton and amount in the base - when you get it all set up well it's amazing - I think on par with my Kayfuns (or just below).

I've ordered a fair bit from Fasttech and to be honest, Todd's Shed (as in reviews) does a very appropriate thing when it replaces "FT" and "Fasttech" with "The Lucky Bag Shop". Some of the stuff has been brilliant (backup SVD for when things go utterly pear-shaped, Trident clone(s), Flush Cutters, Little flower shaped perspex mod holder) to horrible rubbish (early purchase of protank clones, protank heads, soft screws and badly anodised base on the Squape-of-legendary-badness, Nemesis magnets) ... Haven't had anything go missing and variable lead time is, err, to be expected. Don't look at review stars: Only a small portion (just enough to be believable) are published - instead, look at the discussions and always (he says, err) let some of the product be received by customers and read the discussions (which don't appear to be moderated). Bottom line with FT is that you're always taking a bit of a gamble but I reckon the odds are stacked in your favour (unlike most forms of gambling, which is oft a tax on bad math and hope). Oh - some apparently poor products can be fixed with just a little intervention on your part (soft alloy screws, for instance - replace them, or find appropriate o'rings). Regarding the Nemesis - if you can't afford / find an original, go for the Hcigar version - you can pick one up in the UK for ~£30 and get it in a couple of days - that's the difference of perhaps a month and a couple of packets of fags.

Saw this today and thought oh w wow. www.fasttech.com/product/1660402 No idea if it's a clone of something under a different name butty found myself intrigued... Surface area might mean heat dissipates more rapidly, which would be a good thing in my book. I impulse bought... I don't think it's a clone of anything. Anyone recognise it? Thoughts? Mind arrived today. Aster confirming crazy resistance (4.8 ohms but no short) all heck broke loose in The World of Tom and off we went to look after nieces. A brief journey back home to enable one to complete homework and a dog walking stint I scraped some of the anodised coat from the female positive post threading with a small screw driver...I now have trained lightning when cold... Homework completed, the rest of the day and evening then became a doggie/niece cycle and I hope to have time tomorrow to go further. However, I can confirm ghastly threading and soft posts... A ticket shall be raised tomorrow as I've little confidence in its long term viability.

Sorry for drawing you into Geekland. Thank you Didn't want to ruin my new bling! Eek - rereading my last post and oh my - doesn't that look oh so passive aggressive.... No intent but I know subconsciously that kind of thing leaves a wee mark which I hopefully scrub by shining a harsh cleansing light.

Smaller spring appears to be retaining the ?retaining? pin and turns do that the mid point (two wire points) are against the pin. When it turns, you may find the pin raises which makes the button catch... at least I think that is what's happening. This is based on my Hcigar copper nemesis.

I agree - Guys Magnets deliver quickly, carefully packed and for a reasonable price. I've just written to them asking if they can source N45+ and explained the market. Fingers crossed.
