Are you in a position to run an experiment with say three clearos with different density cotton wicks? I'm at a loss at this point.

Wow - that guide is amazingly clear... And right. Only things I can think of is that definition of 50/50... And, oh - how full is the tank? I know that with some BCC's, it's very important to have them at least 1/3rd full else the pressure difference isn't enough to stop it flooding (or something).

Can you give me the link to where on here? Might spot where things are going awry.

If your talking about using a "flavour wick" then I'm guessing summat like a Protank... The rule of thumb on things like a Kayfun or Expromizer where the air hole is above the majority of the wick is that less is more - too much in the coil and you strangle it and leave a burnt taste - too much in the well and it will swell above the air hole and drip down... So the idea is a reasonable amount in the coil (here be the trial and error bit) and very low density within the well. However, if it's a bottom coil tank similar to a Protank then I'm thinking that a low density outside of the coil will result in flooding because it wicks just a little too well. So I reckon a medium density for the coil wick and higher density for the flavour wick (I recall this being how to do it but it's been an age)... The problem is "low", "medium" and "high" are terribly subjective terms and I fear you have a lot of experimenting to do... Someone more knowledgeable than me will come along shortly (probably Greigster who I believe holds a legendary amount of knowledge)

Following on perfectly from my last turn, I offer you Gong and Here&Now with Opium For The People (another track when played in the car often results in my missing a junction or two on a fast road). Play loud.

Off topic a little - whilst collecting most of her first year Uni stuff, my daughter played at the Kings Head in Lampeter and we got to watch her and another chap perform during the Open Mic Night. My daughter sung, amongst other things, Science Fiction Double Feature... Both were really quite good... Anyhow, about half way through the evening, the old chap, gaunt, wearing a cap and carrying the most beaten up Uke I've seen and goes to the other bar... Towards the end, he comes into the front room and asks if he can play... He improvises and captivates the small (8) audience... Explained (in song) that it was a bad Uke that didn't hold tune (a fact he exploited perfectly). So... he asks if he can borrow a guitar (also in song, so far he's played for about fifteen minutes, making up songs about what he's been hearing and local stuff... The other musician lends him his guitar.. And my goodness - this old boy in a 30+ year old leather bike jacket and dirty finger nails... He played that guitar like I've never heard before - astounding - moving through styles seamlessly before breaking into his own song. No idea who he is (other than introducing himself as Alan) but as the other guy said (who'd just moved to the area and spotted the sign on the door), we have a genuine bluesman in our midst. Wow.

Big registered mail envelope containing lots of envelopes containing (hopefully) lots of EFVI sigs... But no shiny things.

Absolutely right (I suspect)... Came back from Mid Wales to find that.... O-ring likely. Wick come adrift from a horizontal channel also possible.

That's the worst one to give up (for me) the first one in the morning I agree with that - first thing in the morning... Possibly because I haven't found the right first thing in the morning vape (working on it) - Probably just the sheet damned habit of it... Guessing one morning in two I reach for a stinkie and one morning in four I think "what on earth am I doing"....

it should smell of oil too! Surprisingly little oil. Isopropyl as standard, though. oh... One little observation I forgot... The air holes are just a little larger. No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted
