Try it again... It wasn't cleared by, I guess, FA's public relations folks, and was briefly disabled. VapingBad I sort of agree yet their product is, to me, good and I'm keen to move forward in this corrupted new world

Which mod is that, Q ? I rather like. chykensa I'm still in that "why on earth does anyone want to go beyond 40 watts?" stage (I vaguely remember your post). Mind you, I also don't quite understand the whole lung-inhale thing.... it's not like we taste more, is it ( ? ) and it seems to me that it's better to breathe in only some of the vapour rather than all of it.... The gain, I guess, is that worst case Armageddon scenario where us flavour aware vapers staying on the right side of the market (i.e. not the black market) and buying our little pots of 20mg unflavoured VG or PG diluted liquid in six years time (when all our remaining freezer stocks have a really worrisome smell) and thus stringing the contents of the 10 empty 10ml bottles along by pulling down our usual, say, 12mg/ml mixes into 3mg/ml mixes with cup cake flavourings (going to be a pain for me as I rather like my tobacco juices). Thank you for the complement. peter12 dual batteries will either give you more amp hours (nearly double, I think) if placed in parallel or twice the volts if placed in series (so more watts for your resistance).

Regarding the Armageddon reference Andy made in the OP, I don't think there's a difference in my mind - they are both hard to fix if there's a failure and replacements will be hard (cross border selling within the EU is proscribed but I'm not sure when it comes to outside of the EU). Lifetime supply of Nic - good call. Of course the lifespan of Nic in your / my freezer is limited

Armageddon is the worst-case-strict implementation of Article 20 of the European Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) Crafted as a result of successful lobbying, TPD#20 of is a compensation scheme for tobacco and pharmaceutical companies which would otherwise be loosing money through the implementation of the rest of the directive (tobacco facing a near `Kodak Moment` because of vaping, pharmaceutical because of declining sales or ineffective nicotine replacement products and the horror of loosing the profit otherwise gained from treating smoking related diseases). It contains, amongst other delights, rigorous and expensive licensing and testing (that cycle includes a six month notification period) of any new product or product variation For instance - stuff that we know will be implemented: Peach eLiquid 50PG 50VG, 12Mg/Ml ; Peach eLiquid 50PG 50VG, 18Mg/Ml; Peach eLiquid 10PG 90VG, 12Mg/Ml will require three licenses and suites of tests. A variable voltage mod will be able to produce power at different levels - each level has to be...Yes, that's impossible unless "variable" means "stepped" Attomisers must be leak proof and not hold more than 2.5ml of liquid There's more, of course.... Much more. Easiest way to understand is to read www.clivebates.com/?p=1747 and then spend a little time browsing Clive Bates's Counterfactual site. Lots of links to sources in there. Welcome to anger and welcome to despair.

....a twin 18650 mod with in excess of 100w of power would be a good post-Armageddon investment.... Err Isn't "post-Armageddon" combined with electronics an oxymoron? I guess a couple of 18650's in series and a coil somewhere around the 0.6 ohm mark will meet the spec. There's a few out there which you can buy off the shelf, including some (like the second rev of the Cherry Bomber) which have a manual switch to flick between series and parallel.

I remember that tomj777, it was what made them stop shipping batteries by air for a long while and was not long after the episode I posted about which was the end of 2013 IIRC. Ah - that was that one. It has, alas, just occurred to me that Golden Week starts in a couple of days - chances are our packages won't have left the ground by then

Post from staff on the forum:I'm sort of guessing this is like the time when HK customs inspected a load of pallets and found lots of naughties like eliquid (I think prohibited at the time) and batteries and all heck broke loose with FT shipments (I think this was towards the end of 2013 / early 2014). But there's probably a mix of hearsay and good old fashioned creative memory going on in the preceding sentence).

Courtney Love Zeplin Song (note the spelling... I reckon she deliberately misspelt it just to make sure that no 'cker placed the Stairway song in a music game thread just someone throws this track into the mix )

Folks, A few of you may know that my favourite and every day mod is the simple Fortune Mod. I've had my Original Brass (OB) for 15 months now and it's never let me down. I spotted this sale just now (I pray Tim isn't closing down shop), I thought it fair to notify the community. The OB is now £50 from £60 The Double S (Stainless Steel) is now £50 from £65 and the Older Timer (Copper) is now £50 from £80 Note that this is definitely not for sub-ohm vaping (magnets, I don't run mine less than 0.7 ohms) and it's a mod for hybrid set-ups (you must have the positive connector on your atty sitting proud. They come in either 18650 or 18350 form with the exception of the Old Timer (18350 only) These things are very very small (not sure if the SMPL mod is smaller) Shipping is £2.50 for the OB and Old Timer and £5 for the the Double S (fancy box) Fortune Mods Shop page

Surly it's worth calling their bluff and asking them to resend, assuming you'd still like the items. First thing I did. I'll check back on Monday to see if it's happened (I hope so).

That has happened to me before. I think sometimes it's their way of getting around an 'out of stock' issue. They say they've shipped........give you the parcel photo..........and then they have a months grace period to actually get the stock in. Interesting.... The Magma is now marked as Discontinued....
