Hi bit new to vaping and was wondering if anyone could give me a link so i can get some 32ga Kanthal in the uk as im only using 0.25 at the moment and have been told i would be better off with 32ga Kanthal ? Many thanks Is it 32 gauge or .32mm. Kanthal that you are after, as they are not the same  I think 32 gauge is .20mm. What are you using it for? I am making coils and want 1.8ohm i have 0.25 kanthal thats all i know and i was reading somewhere that said 32 guage is better - maybe im wrong im not sure as very new to this - im doing 8 wraps at the moment and the coils are coming out at 2.4 or 2.0 maybe i should stick at this ? |

Mine always have been . . . I don't turn them off at all if I'm to be honest. Most of these devices have in built protection and if you're using good batteries/charger there's little chance of them venting. As it's not being stored in a pocket or some such either, there's little risk of it being switched on accidentally. But if you're really bothered, take the battery out. I'm the same. The only time I turn the output off is when I put them in my handbag  Can you also tell me what RMS or MEAN voltage means please and would i should have it set on ? |

That's the extent of it on the Zmax intheblim . . . the only way you'll disable it completely is to remove the battery. Ok thanks so is it safe to be in the "out off" mode overnight ? |

Hi just bought a zmax v5 and am ok with 5 clicks to turn it on but but when i do 5 clicks to turn it off after the 3rd click it goes in to the menu and i just cant seem to hit the 5 clicks to turn it off - i can disable power out by going in to menu number 1 and selecting out off but this does not actually close down the zmax altogether - can anyone help me please ?

Hi my wife is getting a zmax and i have read somewhere that you cant use dual coil heads on them, this sounds not right to me so can someone confirm this please ?

What size micrcoil ID do use use for that yarn ? I have basically watched all the videos and bought everything that has been stated to buy - i wrap the 0.25 kanthal around a 1.5 or 2mm drill bit then i thread the cotton i listed above through it and even tried it on my kayfun 3.1 and all i get id burnt cotton taste - am seriously thinking of giving up building coils as i have done about 14 now and had one that was any good  even my silica wicks with 1.5mm 6 wraps kanthal just gurgle and flood after about a hour |

Hi i just started building coils using cotton and after about 1 hour of vaping at 7.5 and 1.5 ohm the cotton has burnt right through the middle leaving a gap - what can be causing this ?

I think you need to buy a single coil head that fits your attie to replace the dual coil but someone will soon correct me if I'm wrong lol. You can then recoil following the guides on here Cant seem to find single coil heads for the aerotank so have been turning the rubber bit upside down |
