Hi i have a zmax v5 and a itaste svd - i made some coils up and when i put one on my zmax v5 it says "short" but when i put it on my itaste svd reads 2.1 ohm and works fine ?

Thanks very much intheblim They look like the new base of silicone, but it'll be worth me buying and then also buying the 10 pack of rubber grommets from eBay (if I could just remember where on forum link was!! ???) I could do with grommets/bungs too. I have a hundred "old style" Kanger coils (used) with nasty white/cream bungs....  Hopefully someone will give us a link then we will all be happy people  |

Thanks, I'm very tempted...I do recoil protanks but need stock! So do you know if they have the decent rubber bung in base or the newer style (that's less appealing to me?) Not really sure as im new to this but here is a close up of what i received  |

Hi just thought i would share this with anyone who is paying anything from £2 upwards for coils - i recieved these this morning and i can confirm they are genuine kangertech coils - only thing is that they advertise them as 1.8 ohm but they are in fact 2.0 ohm which is not a problem for me as i bought 20 and it works out at around 85p each www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HXVHWEQ/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

how do i lift the pin i dont want to ruin it ? Just get a small flat head screw driver between the pin and the zmax and gently nudge the pin up. Move it round a bit and nudge again. Just do a few times to lift the pin just a slight amount. I have issues with my pro tank 2's on my zmax not making a connection. Now use an airflow controller to combat it. Yep that was the problem all sorted - happy man again |

Low load usually means your battery is low on the zmax. Maybe a short somewhere. Try loosening the atty off a bit and try that or lifting the pin slightly on the zmax. how do i lift the pin i dont want to ruin it ? |

Hi im building coils for my zmax v5 and when i test them on the usb ohm tester they are reading 1.9ohm but when i put it on my zmax its saying "low load" can anyone tell me what im doing wrong - im using 0.25 kanthal with cotton wool at 6 to 7 wraps ?

Try 6 wraps if you want 1.8 ohms or you buy some 0.2 (32 AWG) then you can have more wraps for your 1.8 ohms.Sorry for all my questions and thankyou for your help |
