WOW. interesting. Then again I just tossed a 65ah Yuasa UPS battery I used for my radio shack power supply. I got it from the coast guard in 2004 and it was past it's date then (hence they gave away) so it lasted about 15 years. TBH it still charged and held a charge but not for that long and not enough to run 100w (pulling 20 AMps form the poor thing)
Back to my power supply which sounds like a jet fighter at afterburner.

I would bud. well maybe.
i made 100ml on the 10th and soniced it for about 3 hours. I'll now make another 100ml this weekend and will have some stockpiled then. Then i might start experimenting with some other flavors. I just wanted some nice custard ADV sitting there. if you leave 5% out then you have 5% to play with. but in the grand scheme of things i bet if you just use some of your steeped base and added 5% on top it isn't going to adjust your nic / pg level too much playing with 5 / 10 ml at a time. JUST DONT MIX ORANGE AT 10% I told you before lol.

If you PM me you can have a spare tube, beauty ring, box manual and everything. Just promise you wont use the actual control head coz it is dangerous and fires all by itself.

Hang about ?? ? on the 510 screw. It's a spring loaded 510 pin. Well mine is. I saw something about unscrewing it because (it is an actual screw) but may damage the connection. I don't know . . . . Just thought i should mention. You shouldn't need to adjust the 51 0 as it is a spring pin anyway. I COULD BE WORNG but mine is.
Ruffie.
My one (from Liberty Flights) has a cross head screw to adjust the 510. Mine looks the same but the whole head and the delrin surrounding it moves up and down and is spring loaded (a little scratchy but it is sprung) try pressing yours in and see if it is the same please Toby

If I set the wattage at 7 it will vape but if I shift it up to 9 it will vape for 4 seconds then hit a brick wall and stop? So the power cuts out after 4 secs on the higher setting, this could be a weak battery or connection problem. Give the battery and the terminals a good clean with IPA, meths or vodka and the same for the atty connection. And check the adjuster screw in the 510 connection in making contact by unscrewing a bit at a time until the atty won't sit flush. Hang about ?? ? on the 510 screw. It's a spring loaded 510 pin. yes we need more info on what exactly you do not like? I have an IPV2 used mostly with a trident RDA or the Orieco Storm RDA and it's rocks. I don't care for the feel of it though tbh I find the fire button is on the wrong end (or the 510)
The only thing A pro tank did for it was leak !!! and vape as normal at 8 - 9 w. better than the clouper dna30 that wont even fire a PT due to the wide fire pin.
IPV Scratches really easily, the 510 isn't quite level and the screen is / was scratched. It's ok but £65 was steep (I still prefer the feel of my svd even if it is close to being a pretty resistance meter / paperweight. )

How to ruin Custard. (Try and make up orange custard not realizing the orange concentrate should be at about 2% not 10 along with 10% custard. ooops. sickly orange yuk. I did keep it for a month but chucked it the other day.
I feel your pain.

You know how people say "less is more" when it comes to cotton... It's not necessarily helpful. If you have too thin a wick, the cotton won't touch the side (continuous) of the coil. This leaves a horrible taste (sometimes metallic). Then you have the scenario where the cotton is too dense in the well and it won't wick properly (dry hit time). When folks stay "less is more" what they really mean is less density is more... BUT if you have much too little the coil ends up with hot areas where the wick isn't touching.... Aghhh!!!! Something akin to this is happening to you, I fear. Air flow screw... funny you say that... after a perfect seven months with my genuine KFL+, over the last month the bloody things been weeping.... Tom, I'd almost class myself as an Intermediate / Advanced used now so Why The heck have I lost the ability to coil and wick a protank lol. I don't wish to hijack thread. but. WIth Protanks. Do you all have your coil right at the bottom of the slots in the head. OR do you leave the base on so the coil sits about half way up the chimney of the head? I rebuilt mine off the base and i think the coil is far too low down. ????? Ruffie.

I am.having the same issue with my squape. Re wicking ends with dirty cotton taste however much I use. Even when taste goes away if I leave it along for a while then vape it again the taste returns. I have lost count of the number of rebuilds I have done on it today. All my other tanks seem to have taken up gurgling and leaking at the same time whether I use a rebuilt coil or even a new manufacturers one. All my latest mixes seem rank too! I Haven't got to the end of the thread yet but had to say Thank F&^K FOR THAT. It isn't just me. I'm using my 1st dripper (trident short center post now!) and a small 2.6ohm microcoil 28g and a teeny bit of cotton. It is the ONLY thing that seems to work "OK'ISH" All tanks leaking, all other dripper coils broken. Protank dry hits, nice coil and wick, but will not feed juice. (and it wont fire on the mech) I have about 30ml of juice in total, threw some away yesterday (an orange custard cock up ) Everything seems to have fallen to bits all of a sudden. Christ, Gail called the 24h garage the other night at midnight as i was swearing trying to fit coil. She said I may need to just go and get an ego kit from the garage as they are open and it will at least work lol. Happy Dayz

StealthVape used to do them, probably still do a lot more money but if u r in a hurry... Yep, stealthvape £19:99 plus p&p. I ordered 2 from the slowest boat from China £15:00 but I'm not in a hurry for them, only want them for a couple of box mods I've got on the go at the minute. Given up on the DNA 30 as on the whole its been a PIA for me so far. And here is me on the other side of the fence looking for a dna 30 clone chip so i can re build my hana clone which fried. Touch wood the little IPV2 going fine but i don't care for the feel of it in my hand. Hope you get sorted. Ruffie.
