I went to a local meet recently and it was brilliant, on a small scale, there was a member showing coiling and you can do one on one questions and also you get to try all the juices... I know at vapefest they have a 'juice bar' As a vapefest virgin <so to speak> I'd like to know how that works, is it a tester to try or do you need to bring a dripper or do you lob in tank? I as as I'd be gutted if I hadn't brought a dripper along and I'd needed to... Not sure how it will work this year but still worth taking a dripper with you just in case
A couple of things to ask.Do you think that the vendors would let you drip instead of using their clearo's ?
Would I have to keep re-wicking in between juices , which might be a little tricky in a grass field , lol ?
Last but not least , I have been looking for a dripper, but I haven't got a clue of what to get ( need suggestions ) , as the bridged 306 atty I have gets to hot very quickly and I don't get a taste of what the liquid is , it's only very vague as I seem to taste the burning atty or whatever , just not nice at all ? The kind of price of what I want would be in the £20 bracket , but if you think there is something that would be a LOT better for a little bit more then all's good , as I now have to re-wick and clean out a EVOD tank at the moment to get a true reflection of flavour but that takes time and isn't practical at Vapefest.

Having started a thread about what juices that I wanted to try at Vapefest , Perpetua mentioned about having mixing workshops.
This has lead me to thinking what other things would you like to see at this ( unlikely at this late date ) and future Vapefests ?
A couple of things that I had thought of were "Coiling workshops" including things you need , how to do it , understanding ohm, volts and watts and wicking. The other that I've only just thought of was a "beginners" type of workshop , what you need to start and how to get the best out of vaping , all in different budget ranges. This one came to mind as this year looks to be a lot bigger than previous ones and being at a venue where you can look at things from a distance and not feel to embarrassed NOT to buy something I think there will be a lot of people there that would be either just starting to vape or looking to vape but don't know where to start. Last ( for me at the moment ) , would be something on mods , batteries and tanks.I have been looking at this forum for some weeks and I still wouldn't know where to start on this side of vaping ( mods and batteries , anyway ), I'm still having a bit of trouble with settling down to a setup and a ADV , occasional vapes aren't to much of an issue though. I think things like these would encourage more would-be vapers to come along and see.
The suggestions don't have to be workshop related at all, they can be anything at all , be it vendors you would like to see at the event , products that you would like to see and try , juices to try , anything at all.
If I'm way off base here , let me know, but I hope you understand that events like these can only get bigger and better and they can only be done by feedback from people like us that are going.
Off to put my flame retardant coat on , lol

You mean VG yes Montana? What would be brilliant at VF is if one of the Vendors would take on Mixing workshops, held at regular times during the event - to demonstrate that it's not some dark/complicated art. As DIY really increases your options for VG heavy eliquids. Which are what I make for myself, being PG sensitive. Working on it Yes I did mean VG , I knew I was going to get that wrong at some point. That would be really good if there was a mixing workshop, I'd put my name down for that now. Any other flavour suggestions ? Andy

So , in preparation to going to Vapefest I'm writing down a list of E-liquids that I want to try.The ones that I've listed either have a higher VG than PG or are able to be made that way.I say this because with the liquids I've tried so far I seem to prefer the higher VG strengths for smoothness and not giving me a sore throat.
Bread of Heaven - The Druids Brew
Banana Nut Bread - Mt Baker Vapor Orange Dream Bar - Mt Baker Vapor Hazelnut Spread - Mt Baker Vapor Cinnamon Roll - Mt Baker Vapor Ecto Cooler - Mt Baker Vapor
Snake Oil - T-Max
Black Jack - Trip Hammer Fruit Salad - Trip Hammer Strawberry Champagne - Trip Hammer Bellini - Trip Hammer Cream Tea - Trip Hammer
I've had a look at the other T-Max Juices and there are some flavours of theirs I would like to try BUT I'm worried about the 80/20 PG/VG mix , anyone else suffer from higher PG that could comment ?
I know there are many more liquids that I should try and many of you are just itching to suggest custard juices , but I'm not a custard lover at all, so the idea of vaping it isn't exactly applealing , lol. So what other suggestions could you give me , I currently vape Joose Juice Caramel Blend and some Hangsen RY4 ( bit of a throat ripper, but it's 80/20 again ), any and all suggestions welcome. This is going to be the time and place to get my all day and occasional vapes sorted in one session.Maybe get some other bits which I didn't even know I needed , lol
Many thanks.

I Could only find dual coils for the mini, not sure what theyre compatible with... The stock coils for the mini 3 are dual coil, but if you have already or have the inclination to do so, you can make and put a single microcoil in the mini 3 with a cotton wool wick through the coil and you can put another small piece of cotton wool on top of that as you will have space between the top of the wicked coil and the bottom of the rubber grommet . It'll be like a taste wick on top of the coil.
Maybe someone in your area can help you out.if you need it.

Old set up was a evod style battery and evod tank, so yeah not used to the wattages etc.. It is starting to get less harsh so maybe it is a case of getting used to it.. I bought Lemon cheesecake and mango to try in 14mg, on the lemon cheesecake should probably leave it to steep then, lol. 4 months is soooo long to wait. Ive not found an e liquid i like yet been trying different online stores. Im thinking of trying Joose juice next if i dont like these ones, My old tank is dead, hence the reason i bought the Mini protank so cant even use that to test.. Ill have to swop out liquid and see what happens! Do try Joose Juice , they have a good selection of flavours and you can select different PG/VG ratios and a strength enhancement too.I'm currently vaping their Caramel Blend at 18mg and it's lovely, but their juices NEED at least a week of steeping. Unfortunately the vendor is off until Monday , but it's worth the wait and the juices so far I've ordered from them come the next day.

I can say and only after just over a month of vaping that the higher the VG for me the better the taste.
The80/20 and 70/30 PG/VG mixes are to harsh on the back of the throat and taste a little chemically to me.Having said that I think I might have gone down the route of getting something on the more budget side of things and that may be it. I have also noticed that the juices that are made to order NEED steeping time.I like sweet type of flavours and when the made to order juices arrive the juices is a high pitched type of sweetness, if that's a description and after a week the sweetness mellows to a beautiful vape. Obviously that's just my opinion, but I have bought about 20+ juices from about 7-9 manufacturers.I know it's not that many in comparison of what's out there and I don't know if it's a placebo affect but higher VG seems to suit me more.
Pixilocks are you going to Vapefest on 2nd Aug , it looks as though there will be hundreds of flavours and PG/VG mixes to try and hopefully find what suits you more , that's my goal as I'm going and there maybe other mods and tanks to try as that may also maybe a factor.
One other thing to consider is micro coiling with cotton wool , I found that I was tasting the silica wick when I started and when I was using the same liquid in the same tank and I just changed the coil and wick it improved the flavour , as to me I had a slight chemical flavour which I think was the wick.
I've also noticed you're a new vaper , and with vaping at the start your taste buds are all over the place , what I started with a month ago and what I really liked, I don't like anymore , but I really want that taste back , but that's how things go I've been told.
One other thing I've noticed is, if I vape at home when I'm nice and relaxed the taste and experience is a lot nicer than when I'm at work , so there might be some kind of psychological, stress or rushing involved in different situations.
All in all, there is a lot more to vaping than I first realised , it's certainly a lot more tricky than lighting up a stinky, but when you find a good flavour that makes your mouth water then that's when you know that you've cracked it and you'll feel a lot better for it.
I hope this helps a little , but just keep asking questions here, there are a lot of VERY helpful people on here almost waiting to help people out, that being vendors as well as members.I've spoken to a few vendors so far and they couldn't be more helpful and understanding.

Thank you ukric , I knew there was a list somewhere , lol
I really want to try this one , but I'm in two minds if I should just buy it, as no two reviews are the same , I think it's because of the complex flavours used and what one person tastes is totally different to someone else.

I have seen one Youtube vid where someone managed to stack two microcoils in , as far as I'm aware, there wasn't any description of wire used or the ohm reading afterwards, I'll have to recheck the vid , if I can find it.
Andy
EDIT :- The video is for a Protank 3 mini , so the principle is the same, and he got 1.3 ohms using 0.2mm Kanthal with 8 wraps on a 1.5mm drill bit LINKY LINKY

At the moment I'm going , depending on the NHS for my wife's operation and issue's with the last op that nearly went wrong.
I'll be travelling up and back on the Saturday from West Sussex, so a long day.
I've looked at the Vapefest site and it says that "The Druid's Brew" is a supporter , does anyone know if they're definitely going to be there ?
Many thanks.

Congrats wibble , each and every stinky avoided is a milestone.
Looks as though a few of us all decided to go smoke free within a couple of weeks of each other and all is going well.
I think mixing maybe one of those black art things where a select few seem to do it naturally well , while everyone else seems to struggle. One thing that I've read though is to many people adding stuff together and getting a really good flavour but didn't have a clue of what and how much they put in, so I suggest writing it down, just in case you come up with a winner. I've done my own recoiling on my EVOD's and Protank II , and found it very easy to do, but I am a plumber so have all the tools anyway , ALSO the picture guide on here and various Youtube vids go through this step by step.My EVOD's and ProTank taste a lot better with a microcoil and cotton wool , especially as I used to be able to taste the silica wick.
Just remember wibble , don't run before you can walk, and if you want to mix give yourself some time to recognise what flavours are best for you.

Have you got a link to these regs, and what are they basing these regs on seeing as NO-ONE has agreed that there is sufficient data to say anything as yet ??
EDIT :- I've found the EU TPD, but I can't really find the relative doc that says about ECigs and the regs for them. I certainly haven't found anything regarding bottle size for juice, as this makes no sense at all.I used to go over to Belgium once every 12-18 months and buy tobacco which is by far and away 52-78 times more than a 10 ml bottle would be for me and that is a VERY conservative estimation. Also In one of the documents I've read it mentions the WHO and they have had letters from both sides of the coin , and surely this needs to be looked at further by them before the EU TPD can inflict restrictions ?
