Im really sorry to yet again make another post, but i just seem to keep finding things going wrong lol! I think i need my own forum so you can all help me, lol! (Please tell me if there is a post limit etc)
SOOOOO, itaste vv recieved today along with LT ecigs e liquids..
They smell DEVINE but they are making my throat numb, a slightly harsh hit and not much flavour?
Im using a mini protank 3 which i received yesterday. I have the wattage /volt on the lowest. Had to swop out the 1.5 dual coil received with a 2.0 dual coil but i dont think its meant for the kanger just a random kanger evod one.
And it tastes better but still hurting my throat? its 14mg and i was on 18 with no problems.. Have contacted LT but it is a Saturday..
I never seem to be able to get this e cig mallarkey right! Is it the tank? I should probably swop out the flavour and try a old one but ive just filled it high so will try that soon and see if its battery etc. Maybe the iTaste is just to strong for me? or crappy coils.
-Sigh-

The liquid might be a bit too fresh... they are usually smoother after they have had a chance to 'steep' in a cupboard for a week or two. although, I've never tried LT ecigs e liquids, so can't comment on how they vape Could be that the tank is providing more vapour than you are used to. But, yes, try with one of your old liquids and see how that tastes.

To high a PG can also cause a bit of a harsh throat hit as well as the flavouring, try some other juice for now and see if it's any better

Most eliquids are sold fresh , so always need a week or two to 'mellow out'.
But the pg to vg ratio is also a big factor , those higher in pg can be harsh on the throat .
Steeping . What is it?

PixilocksCan you tell us a bit about your previous set up please? Maybe you are not used to vaping at 8 watts. You were probably vaping at 6 watts before, in all honesty. If I went up by 2 watts right now, it could be a bit of a shock, and I'm used to vaping. Your liquids will not be at their best yet. Depending on what you bought, it could take 5 days to 3 weeks to get good. My "Amaretto" by LT ecigs has been steeping (maturing) for 2 months.... it's perfect. My "Lime Ball" has been steeping for 4 months.... it's no better.

Old set up was a evod style battery and evod tank, so yeah not used to the wattages etc.. It is starting to get less harsh so maybe it is a case of getting used to it..
I bought Lemon cheesecake and mango to try in 14mg, on the lemon cheesecake should probably leave it to steep then, lol. 4 months is soooo long to wait. Ive not found an e liquid i like yet been trying different online stores. Im thinking of trying Joose juice next if i dont like these ones,
My old tank is dead, hence the reason i bought the Mini protank so cant even use that to test.. Ill have to swop out liquid and see what happens!

I can say and only after just over a month of vaping that the higher the VG for me the better the taste.
The80/20 and 70/30 PG/VG mixes are to harsh on the back of the throat and taste a little chemically to me.Having said that I think I might have gone down the route of getting something on the more budget side of things and that may be it. I have also noticed that the juices that are made to order NEED steeping time.I like sweet type of flavours and when the made to order juices arrive the juices is a high pitched type of sweetness, if that's a description and after a week the sweetness mellows to a beautiful vape. Obviously that's just my opinion, but I have bought about 20+ juices from about 7-9 manufacturers.I know it's not that many in comparison of what's out there and I don't know if it's a placebo affect but higher VG seems to suit me more.
Pixilocks are you going to Vapefest on 2nd Aug , it looks as though there will be hundreds of flavours and PG/VG mixes to try and hopefully find what suits you more , that's my goal as I'm going and there maybe other mods and tanks to try as that may also maybe a factor.
One other thing to consider is micro coiling with cotton wool , I found that I was tasting the silica wick when I started and when I was using the same liquid in the same tank and I just changed the coil and wick it improved the flavour , as to me I had a slight chemical flavour which I think was the wick.
I've also noticed you're a new vaper , and with vaping at the start your taste buds are all over the place , what I started with a month ago and what I really liked, I don't like anymore , but I really want that taste back , but that's how things go I've been told.
One other thing I've noticed is, if I vape at home when I'm nice and relaxed the taste and experience is a lot nicer than when I'm at work , so there might be some kind of psychological, stress or rushing involved in different situations.
All in all, there is a lot more to vaping than I first realised , it's certainly a lot more tricky than lighting up a stinky, but when you find a good flavour that makes your mouth water then that's when you know that you've cracked it and you'll feel a lot better for it.
I hope this helps a little , but just keep asking questions here, there are a lot of VERY helpful people on here almost waiting to help people out, that being vendors as well as members.I've spoken to a few vendors so far and they couldn't be more helpful and understanding.

Citrus flavours can be a bit hard on the throat (and tank, but your's is glass, so no worries there).

Ive been vaping more than a year now, so yeah to say that i am pretty nooby lol. I was fine on Totally wicked was using a mixed berry but the past few months ive really started to get into it and found that mixed berry doesnt cut it anymore. wanting to expand, So i dont think its a case of taste buds being dull lol!!
