Hi tonyarosey, all ejuice tends to go darker over time if left, Its a good way of telling the 'vintage.' Its fine to use for over a year or more. Personally, i think the 1 year use by date they put on the bottles is just to comply with EU reg's.

It may just be natural corrosion, but until your sure it may be wise NOT leave it unattended when your charging it. The last thing you want is a fire from a faulty battery.

Hi chaos, Sorry to hear about your recent loss, and hears hoping your grief thats you must feel, eases over time. You'll find this a friendly place to chat that may help you through your troubles, whatever they may be. You seem to come well stocked with vape gear. Have to agree the KF is hard to beat, I use mine on a copper Nemi or on a King which i like because of the well designed switch and lock on it. I also use a Rose Atty but have gone back to the KF.

any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated for another decent starter kit or should I just get another Evod Mega Starter Kit? Many thanks in advance Brewster Hi brewster & welcome, As you have been using starter kits for a while, I would look to get something that will last much longer and probably give you a better vape. Something like the istick or, if your willing to spend more for more features, one of the other Box mods on that site. Getting something with more power settings may also let you try some other types of Atty that would not be viable on a EVOD starter kit. you may want to think about one of the box mods that say 'Takes an 18650 battery.' As it will give you more freedom than the istick. I may look toward smok xpro which at a similar price takes the 18650, but ask on here about that one, as i not sure if its quality or not.(It may be a pice of crap) You will need a couple of batteries and a charger when using one with an external battery, but the batteries are good for 2 years or more, and are cheaper to replace, than a MOD that has an internal battery. Plus you wont be tied to a USB port when the battery is running low, just swap over for a fresh one and put the dead one on charge.

Hi PostManRed, The EVOD starter kits are ideal for seeing if vaping is for you. When you find it is, then its spend spend spend 'I jest.' ...Well no, i dont. Finding your ideal vape can be costly, but no where near as costly as smoking. You be saving from the 1st month so will just put it into trying new Atties or Mods. Welcome to the Mad House

I've just ordered the EVOD mega starter kit from Myepack. I am hoping to start mixing my own juices in the autumn (once I've moved house) so will be mainly looking at tips in that direction but the more I learn about all sides of vaping the better I think. Cant go wrong testing the water's with an EVOD starter kit, and Myepack are good pricing for UK. When you start mixing your own the cost of vaping goes down a lot. There are cheap places to buy premixed, you just need to keep an eye out for offers which appear in Vendors Boards, someone usually has an offer on.

When you get used to the hit 'lung' feels better for me, not really heavy, just enough to replace the smoke inhale.

Hi All After the good advice I received yesterday regarding hardware I have now ordered some bits from FastTech as myepack were out of stock. Has anyone had any dealings with them and am I likely to receive authentic goods? The reason I am now questioning this is that I was on the Kangertech authentication site earlier to check an Evod Mega kit I bought elsewhere (which was genuine) and noticed under the copycat tab that FastTech are listed No.5 as selling Kangertech fakes here's the link www.kangertech.com/?copycat.htmlHas anyone any thoughts or experience with them Many thanks Yes Fastech are legit, and do stuff way cheaper than buying here. Sure it sells fake gear as well as authentic. When you want to try a Kayfun and find they are £100+, Buying a copy off of FT will set you back £15. They say is an item is authentic or not, its in the wording, someone mentioned it in 1st reply, just look out for that if you want a genuine product that is made in china anyway. I have used FT many many times and you get a feel for when something looks poor quality. Most of the stuff is pretty good, and will save you a small fortune. last time i used them i think shipping was quicker using the ChinaPost option when ordering. 4-5 weeks going via Singapore which was the default option. 3 weeks using ChinaPost.

Top secret how much I paid for my original KFL+ but liking it. Liking it a lot . Shiny budget spent (including arron for the group buy) for next 3 weeks LOL icon_shoppingm OO a genuine KF....nice one, I hope you got a good deal. My love for the KF has restarted. After about 8 months of only using the Rose, I got the KF's up and running again. I don't know why stop using them. Thats the trouble with going from one bit of new gear to the next, you end up 'Boxing' some good stuff, just because you have a new toy. The Rose had stronger flavor, but the KF produces more vapor, and the flavor difference was only small. Plus its just way too big to be carrying around outside. Getting a 'stumpy' kit makes the KF more portable as well. Would recomend you keep an eye out for one, its a good size for 18500 MOD.

@scooby I got distracted by the work i was doing, and was spending so much time working at the computer, it was the last place i wanted to sit and relax.(the computer not the forum) I haven't bought a single vaping item since the 'Rose group buy' I hadn't started smoking again if that's what you all thought. Its good to see all the names i reconise , still here

Right I've just done some research and found kayfun lite pluses (at a good price? Can't say what though cos of kanger ) and also subtank minis (the other one just looks HUGE!!!) I asked for lemos. I got the melo (whatever it was it wasn't rebuildable). Any leaks with the kayfun's? comes with ss and pyrex I think tanks? Tagging a heap of folk for this chykensa Get Off My Cloud drunkenbum glen Greg hijackHi @johanino . Although i avoided FT when i got my KFL v2 because i was unsure which were good and which were not. After looking around I wanted an EHpro so got it from USA for about £30 Then for the second i wanted the Hcigar which i got here for about £25 Both are excellent, and never leak or flood. The EHpro I drilled a larger air-hole. But whether you need to or not is down to you, The Hcigar i left as it came. Out of the 2 the Hcigar was the best buy as it came with all this... So its a full size KFL, and all the bits to change it to a stumpy KFL(which is how i have it in the pic). Oh and the zippy case. I've just started using the short KFL to use on a 18500 so it fits in pocket when Im out.

Great suggestion re the vendors guide. hijack has already done a buying guide, I hope to expand that and include it, er..... later Hi Ripshod I havnt fallen off the edge of the world, but i have fallen behind with the battery buying guide , and pretty much anything that has appeared over the last 9 months. Only this last month returned to forum to see whats new, and have a read. Which Batteries you use is a subject that should be high on priority for vapers, as we are the ones who are likely to use them to the specified limits, and One build to the next may have us demanding more Power from them than previously. (so those limits should be 'as stated') As you well know, this misrepresentation has been going on for quite a while, and was the reason I gathered up all the data i could at the time and wrote the guide (which is by now hopelessly out of date). I think rewriting the guide is a great idea and needs to be done, so that its up to date. Although Ive not been around that much, Im sure that one of the most asked questions is still, 'What battery should i be using?' As soon as i see your guide posted ill ask that my old guide be deleted. I look forward to reading it, so as i know what to replace my old puprle Efest 35A with. I need some 'everyday use' replacements.

Im going to have to have a look at some of these new tanks that have appeared since i was last collecting around 8 months ago.
I'm still using the 2 Rose atties i got exclusively. The one from FT had better threads. The flavour is more intense than the 2 Kayfun v2's i had used up until then. I should have a read and think about trying something else, there may be better out there, who knows.
