Wifey flagged it with me last night after she watched the programme. Good to see vaping getting recognition, even from the non-vapers such as Mrs PK.

Looking at the spike as a triangle side on, the wick is level with the top of the triangle. I have it set this way with the hard or soft silicon caps, and find that the hard caps have more 'issues'. That said, the second tank I loaded yesterday is (touch wood) behaving itself with Banoffee Cream as the juice. Was not the same with the Whiskey Cream. FYI - I had to rebuild the atty today as the old one died after 8 days of almost constant use (VERY happy with that result). Need to measure the resistance still, but it does vape rather pleasantly, even with 10mg juice onboard.

OK, so I created the second tank cap in the same manner as the first, and so far, no leakage. I am, however, seeing some juice from the previous tank getting a little over zealous on the atty coil, so I have to dab away the excess from time to time. Waste of good Whiskey Cream if you ask me... I've noticed that if you puncture the cap with the atty, it leaves an almost triangular shape around the outside rim of the hole it makes. I guess that's down to how the pin/wick assembly hits the plastic first? However, I found that I could rub away some more using a pair of tweezers (don't ask...) and it looks to make the perfect hole, at least for the Bulli I'm using. So, in summary - not as much leakage as before, but it is still there from time to time. Maybe I'm sucking on the tip too hard, I don't know. What I do know is that the silicon caps stop all of this problem for me. Edited to clean up my crummy grammer...

As with the type 'A' tanks, I've found that the hard plastic caps leak, especially when using a thiner juice with a higher PG content. Not sure about you, but I prefer the vape in my lungs, not all over my fingers/equipement. That said, I loaded a hard cap yesterday with some rather pleasant Banoffee Cream juice (thanks Griz), and I've yet to see it leak... To date, I've not had leakage from silicon caps as long as they have been pierced correctly first. I've learnt a little snip trick that ensure that the wick is always in the right place - and that helps a heap too. I'm actually going to crack another plastic cap now with a different juice and will let you know how it goes. I'll use the same process as I did yesterday for comparison. Again - thanks for the feedback guys.

Does anyone know where I can get Type B silicon caps from? I ordered some tanks from Jason and they have the hard plastic type, so I need to get these changed pronto (as they leak almost as much as an X-Factor contestant).
Thanks in advance.

No problem - I'm cool, and I did ask for everyone's opinion after all - I'm a big boy, I can take it. Just didn't want the original topic to be diluted too much by side-tracking is all.

Glad your ok River I've not been on much either since being diagnosed with diabetes i'm trying & failing miserably to get it under control struggling with what i can & cannot eat & tbh its depressing doc putting me on meds next week so fingers crossed I was diagnosed type 2 a few years ago now, and was told everything and nothing at the same time. I found that this book "The first year - Type 2 Diabetes A Patient-Expert guide for the newly diagnosed" by Gretchen Becker is possibly the best read you can get at the moment - if you're type 2 of course. Find it on Amazon here: www.amazon.co.uk/Type-Diabetes-Essential-Diagnosed-Patient-expert/dp/1841198048/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1322164961&sr=8-1I'll tell you more about mine if you'd like, but not here by hijacking anyone's thread. Diabetes isn't nice, and I truly feel for you and all other Diabetics. Sorry for the hijack.

Quite honestly, going the route of 'use the search' was never the intention of this post at all. It was more about consolidation and my apparent miscommunication. I'm happy for this to be closed/archived if everyone else is in agreement.

White and green box sounds like Intellicig to me - and they are expensive, in keeping with their 'NRT' image!! You hit the nail on the head there fella - that's the ones.

Yeah - looking forward to my VV from Kev - handy little discount too making the premium package the best option for me. While I'm sure I'll be able to test it when it arrives, I would imagine that it will be swept away until the 25th Dec. Hey ho. Incidentally Kev, I specified the cheesecake with my order. PG/VG mix for me please.

I thought that a single 'Hi All' thread may make life a little easier for us to navigate when we've responded to a particular 'Hi All' thread, and have to sift through 6 to make sure, and also for the newbies as they can be directed there first - a single point of reference for all the tips we always give the new starters. Just a thought. Like I said, good or bad idea. Maybe the excitement factor does kick in a little...

Possibly a drip tip Shezzie, which is used instead of the cartridge if you want to drip e-liquid directly onto the atomiser. But, that's for another day. And Jason will be there with the drip tip for when you order from him...

I've only seen the 10 Motives (my first e-cig - yuck!) at Tesco. These were different. The next time I'm up there I'll get the brand name, but they were in a white and green box?
