MY sum total of TV viewing this year has been Dr who and Casualty, both on catchup via Iplayer......why do I pay for a licence when legally I dont need one? I wouldn't mind if they spent the cash on decent programming not the voyeuristic tripe the vomit out at us. I'm a celebrity, get my x factor big brother come dancing bake off out of here!!!! Bah bloody humbug!! (ok, i know many of these programs are on C4 etc, but gota pay licence fee even to watch that trollope

So good to know that Leslie and yourself are having a good xmas. Ilona and myself have been enjoying the holidays with each other and the kids, and we have continued a new tradition of cooking boxing day dinner and lunch for my mother. Just roast beef this year, but she was over the moon with how well cooked it was.

The Mrs started on an evod style battery and a ce4 clearo, from our local spar. The juice was rank and the clearo a joke. Thankfully she found this forum and made me order a dual evod 2 kit for us to share. It got us both of the stinkies.
The Mrs wanted to try many a tank like the kayfail, Russian, goblin, subtank etc but she finally settled on the first RTA I bought, the kraken. The genny system just made sense to the engineer in me, and the rest is history. We have an abundance f regulated and mech mods, but our krakens are still our go to tanks with 11.5 wraps of 0.4 kanthall giving 0.5 ohms total resistance. (PS, if you use cotton wicks on gennt setups, make your wicks a lot thinner than you normally would, this lets or krakens run up to 35W with stock airflow and the flavour is wow)
A for mods, I've never been a fan of inbuilt cells. Like to be able to replace them when they start to die. The mest regulated mods we have ae the kooper mini, the 50W clouper mini and the sigeli 100W+, as for mec mods, I cant best the stingray and nemesis. Drippers... we got a barrowful, but I like the versatility of the plume veil and the airflow of the dge at 100W for clouds.

In these days of the BBzzzzzzzzzzz, ITzzzzzzzzzzz, channel snore et al, xmas tv honestly amounts to Dr Who and snore inducing filler.

faceache exists only to waste 10 mins playing games. Electronic communication has a lot to answer for. Textspeak, smilies, "friends"most of whom you don't know from Adam, or haven't spoke to in years, hashtags(think someone got OCD about labeling their weed) and more. This effectively dumbs down the population in respect of communication skills such as spelling and grammar and corrupts the nature of peoples relationships by making them believe that some guy they seen in passing at the chip shop is a friend. OK, this mainly affects kids, but this will cause huge issues in the future. On top of this, almost everyone who posts to this kinda site ends up posting or being tagged in something embarrassing that may result in lost friends or jobs. A picture of that drunken night out ain't gonna impress your boss or a potential employer.
Get kids off faceache, teach them how to write a letter, or to hold a conversation, and for gods sake, remind them of the primary function of a phone....making a call and talking to someone.

For once I can say (with a shocked face) that people in and around my home town are pretty evolved and civilized! Never had anyone moan about my vaping, the worst I've ever had is people saying they don't wanna try it because they like smoking....each to their own and all that, no problem there. It seems you have came across some example of a species being bred into extinction by natural selection...Homo erectus.
Don't let the buggers get you down, it's another example of medieval thinking "me no understand that new thingy, it magic, you wizzard, you evil, ug, me bop you on head with big stick! Me brain hurts, think too much stuff, need sit down and scratch privates!!"

I just love the kraken even though most think of it as old hat, and what really shocks me is they call it hard to build on (easiest atty I've ever had to recoil/rewick) My hate list is topped by the kayfun and subtank. Vaping the kayfun is like trying to suck an elephant through a straw and the subtank is a tasteless little bugger. My other hate is one of the new must have mod features....temp control. Sorry, but I'll trust my building over cheap, sometimes flawed electronics. My (FT) Kraken gets treated wiv kid gloves now.....since You told Me that it's dis-con.!   That's a case of going WITH the (commercial..) flow...turning it into a sub-tank!! Wonder if I'll ever hear from someone who's paid loadsa money for an 'original' Kraken II.....= a clone of a sub-tank!! Re. TC:- My mechs. have temp. control anyway.......I press the button & the coils get hot!!  Keep it coming Folks.......tho' I never used the word 'Hate'.....! You can still get clones of the proper kraken from focal. The bigger issue is that replacement glass tube are a nightmare to find at a reasonable price (under two quid is nigh impossible and under a fiver is rare as hell) Hope another tank comes out with glass tanks the same size lols. |
