Hi Pixilocks It sounds like the cotton is not filling the 2 slots cut in the atty. The duel coil attys tend to have a larger slot cut in them for the 2 coils and when recoiled for 1 coil you need to fill that extra gap up. Do as decoy says and once the cotton is threaded and cut, spread the cotton so it fills the gaps.
I blow on the ends of the cotton to 'fluff it up'.
Didn't have a atty that needed recoiling, but I threaded a coil with cotton a fluffed up the ends to show you what I mean. Before... After......
  After they look like this, they will fill the gaps better and wont flood. Your cotton looks so pretty in the before.. Why do mine never look like that?! Lol |

Just drying some new cotton then ill upload a few photos of what im doing.. Im not using the kanger coil heads though lol.. Im using some standard head with a kanger chimney on a kanger base if that makes sense as i cant seem to bloody dissamble the kanger mini 3 coils. Even got the fella to try but he ended up just squishing the chimny haha.. think they may be sealed? Ill upload photos of them too..

I shall post images after work tomorrow, Im pretty sure the coils are crappy lol! 1.50 for a recoil is pretty expensive though? ..right lol? I shall try to find some other cotton too  |

I have tweezers, nail clippers and My itaste which i can use to measure the resistance.
Having problems with the wool, ive tried using less in different variations but it always floods out.. the only successfull rewick i can do i have to use a bit more but it just seems to mute the flavour. but im not using insane amounts lol..
So drill bit, wire, needle and some sort of lighting device..

So i found this on ebay.. Coil Kit Is this a good kit? Id previously bought some Premade coils but theyre tiny and a little bit pooy  Also bought some cotton wool 100% boiled it and its just not preforming that well so im thinking it could be the crappy coils lol.. (still have a muted flavour and high cotton taste after a few tanks) Or would it be cheaper to buy things individually.. Im wanting to buy from the UK though i have no patience for abroad materials )) Err... Im willing to try? making my own coils as long as it isnt a costly start out lol.. ??? Thanks guys.. Hey guys! Its meeeee again!  So im wanting to try using cheese cloth/ cotton balls to re wick a mini protank 3 but with premade coils found these on ebay Theyre 1.8. So my question is.. Will these work in a mini protank on a single coil? Andddd.. Should i use this ohm? Or go lower/higher? Thanks guys edit; Found a guide on another forum which explains it quite well Here.. (Apologies if not allowed to link) but im worried i can only use dual coils as ive tried googling and not hitting any results.. and updated the link as i linked the wrong ones lol.. |

Hey guys, If i was just wanting to add flavour concentrates to an already made mix would this be the best way to do it?

They also do a full pg or full vg and then just buy some concentrates? Or ..? Im not wanting to mix my own base ? Thanks edited: I also found out that the only e liquid ive loved is a base 70pg 30vg.. If i was to continue to buy pre mades should i always buy that ratio? Lots of questions lol |

Ive tried most of the watt settings anything over 8-9 is to much i think its set at 7.5 watts at the Mo, because the higher ones are making my throat numb (think i need to get used to it lol)

Kanger dual coils upgraded 2.0 for the mini protank coils, it came with the standard 1.5.. Before i went to protank my local food shop sells evod clearos I must have bought 4 or 5 in the space of 3 or 4 days as the coil was always burnt (even after trying the grommit trick etc) Wont be buying from that shop again ! lol Just bought a itaste vv it came today so all of this is a brand new set up ) |

I want to go down in strength. Ive always been on 12 then for some reason i accidentally bought the 18mg and stayed on that for a while. Although i like 18 sometimes its just to strong so im going to either 14 or 12, Im on mini protank, just bought some replacement 2.0ohm dual coils. Its a 1.5 at the mo.
