I had just turned 16 and a boyfriend gave me a ciggie. I didn't even know he smoked. I said no thanks, but he insisted I try it. I remember it well, we were standing near a river and I nearly fell in, it made me feel so dizzy.  Made me feel sick too. Why oh why didn't I chuck it in the river. Did anyone actually enjoy their first cigarette? When I look back and think about how that first fag made me feel, it should have been easy to give up smoking theoretically by remembering and hanging on to that feeling. Nicotine must be an incredibly powerful drug. Scary really. |

I can answer your first question Mary! When you give up smoking, you tend to compensate missing the 'hand to mouth' by eating. You're replicating that by vaping now.  Never used a vision, but it does sounds like it's flooding into an air hole if it's gurgling. |

Not interested one little bit in the olympics, rather watch paint dry.
But I have enjoyed watching the online torch relay in certain towns, like where my parents were born or places I used to go for holidays when I was a kid. They don't have the camera on the torch bearers all the time, they show the scenery occasionally too. Lands End and the CI were beautiful. It's boring now they're in London though.
Some of the torch bearers reasons for being chosen have been very touching.
