Just joined today. Recently bought my first e cig from an advert in a Sunday newspaper. E Lites which came in a case similar to the old Marlboro brand. Decent enough smoke, but no way does one refill equal 40 tobacco fags as they claim. Wish I could find cheap refills for them now.  |

Hello & welcome Smokingun  You are so right, there is no way that one cartomiser (or tip I think e-lites call them) can equal 40 fags, makes me very angry that they claim they do > I don't think we have found any cartomisers that fit the e-lites  However, you can refill the ones you have with e-liquid several times. |

Yeah I do not understand why they get away with telling people such lies. Customers who started on them tell me its more like 3 or 4 fags worth.
I never remember the configuration for each of these lookie likie e-cigs but you can refill all of them.
Depending on where you live, I am sure there must be somebody close by who can help you out with refilling.

Welcome to the forum. E-lites make grand claims about how many cigs-worth you get out of their carts. My first kit was an E-lite and looking back on it, although expensive, it got me off the real smokes so it cant be all that bad. If you are looking on some advice on what may be more suitable just ask away, you`ll get some good unbias replies. |

Thanks for all the welcomes and speedy replies - I'm both impressed and humbled.
The E Lites look very good; clever marketing ploy making their cases look like a pack of Marlboro.
Having said that, the chargeable case is a bit hit and miss. You need to keep it still and upright on a flat surface; which is not easy with a bit of wire and usb plug sticking out the bottom. The size of the cig overall is very good and quite light. I've seen all shapes and sizes of e cigs on the net and would feel silly puffing on any of them that didnt look like a real ciggy.
I didn't know you could refill these screw on cartridges. Is that a bit like refilling empty ink cartridges on a printer?
