I have just received my 2 Delrin Tanks from Billet Box in the USA.
Tanks cost $50. IE £30. P&P cost $7.55. IE £4.50. UK Customs charge £5.86. PO "Handling Charge" (?) £8. Total cost for 2 piddly little plastic tanks with a weight of 3.2oz, £48.36p!!!!
Me thinks that if anything goes wrong with these tanks in the future, I will be investing in a tube of Plastic Cement, as I will not be forking out again to the PO's or Customs Benevolent Funds.
Anyone else been charged for imported e-cig related goods? I got hit recently for £43 customs charges for a Billet Box, then decided I couldn't get on with it and sold it for a loss on ebay. Parcel Force don't help matters when they charge £13.50 handling fee on top of the VAT.

If you can try a few mods good thing, I was going to get a VTR but managed to get my hands on one at a local meet, found it so heavy even against my MVP, so did not bother, you'll make mistakes and buy a few wrong things, but thats all part of vaping. MP Unfortunately I bought one when they first came out and then after using for a day hated the weight of it and sold it.

I do love the idea of a vtr, smaller than a vamo/ zmax compact better fit in pocket if only they made it so all/ most heads fitted in then I would go for it but I cant see myself using anything but the kayfun 3.1 / lite anymore as the vape from them is soooo good, the other box mods are viable however with a kayfun on top I may as well use a tube type as they don't give the benefit of reduced size like the VTR and some of the tubes look terrific. I have even looked through the 100 odd whats in your hand thread to see what you guys are using and see loads that I would like BUT then think well that's a mech so I wont get 9.5w out of it etc etc, you no what it is don't you there are just too many to choose from, I no what a woman feels like in a shoe shop now The Kayfun won't fit in the ring of the VTR (19mm max atty only). You would need to use the extension which kind of defeats the benefit of the VTR. Another option would be the Hana Modz v3 clone or mini with the chinese DNA30 board.

For me its still the Vamo - my V2 is nearing 14 months old, has taken a few knocks but still gives the best vape on any of my devices. Best £15 I ever spent at FT. I am really lusting after one of those pretty little vapour sharks though - even though I don't really like box mods Little Vapor Shark is the best device I have, not cheap but built like a battleship and feels great in the hand (About the size of a pack of tic tacs). Fits lovely in a shirt pocket with a mini Nautilus on top and so easy to change your wattage.

I bought a 10ml premix Red Astaire today and have added around 5ml of my 9mg 50/50 nicotine base to dilute it as I found the standard mix too strong a flavour for me. What percentage would you suggest I start mixing the RA concentrate at when I start mixing my own? Presuming the pre-mix is done at 20%, adding 5ml to the original 10ml would reduce the mix to 13.333 Original mix has 2ml concentrate in 10ml. Your new mix has 2ml concentrate in 15ml. [2/15]*100 I'm going to start at 10% and see how that goes. If needs be I can up the percentage as needed.

Count me in too. A nice short trip over the water from Wales. Can I bring my 8 year old along (Non Vapor)?

You don't really need to use nr r nr wires on a kayfun. The tails are so short they shouldn't cause problems or increase your resistance much.

As the majority seem to like 20% and you've basically diluted your premix to 1/2 strength I'd say 10% would be your strength Seems like a good starting point. Thanks. Funny when i tried the premix in my 306 atty the taste was just about right but in the Mini Nautilus the flavour is much stronger.

Thanks for your kind offer but I am going to hold off on trying to mix my own at the moment. I was hoping that mixing the Colonel Custard at the recommended rate was going to taste like the premix. I'm going to try some other premixed brands and maybe look at some other recipes when I have better experience of mixing more complex flavours. No worries. Mixing isn't hard and don't get put off, just stick to a good mix calculator and the recommended percentages and you can't go wrong. You should give the Custardy Lovechild recipe a go, it really is lush after a 6 weeks or longer steep, deffo worth the wait! Tried Chefs vapour custard at my local vape shop and found it rather sickly - too sweet of a taste. I'm going to get my mix of Red Astaire right then I will move onto my favourite custard. Looking forward to trying Grants custard when that arrives.

I have held off on buying the Colonel Custard concentrate at the moment. Another kind member on here is sending me a sample of Grants custard and a couple of others that should be a real treat. You can have what's left of my Colonel Custard concentrate Bez , I have around 4ml left in the bottle (I won't be using it) should be more than enough if you fancy trying it out for yourself, PM me your address and i'll gladly send it on. I've not tried GVC yet but another great custard and a firm favourite of mine is SteamGunks Captain Custard HERE at Chefsvapour.co.uk ...... OM NOM NOM Thanks for your kind offer but I am going to hold off on trying to mix my own at the moment.
