Will isopropyl alcohol clean them as well as vodka? This would be a lot cheaper than buying vodka. Oooo I'm not too sure about that. I havent cleaned ANY of my coil heads with alcohol yet, but I will need to soon. Hopefully one of the more experienced members will be able to help you with that question Well isopropyl alcohol is supposed to be over 99% pure alcohol. I've never cleaned coils with alcohol before. Do you just let the coil soak for a certain length of time?

Handy to know they last a while. I'm using 50/50 in my home made juice and find that it gunks cartomizers within 3 days. The only thing to remember about the BVC coils, is that you cant dryburn them. So if they do start to get gunked up, its off down the shops for a small bottle of Vodka to clean them with Will isopropyl alcohol clean them as well as vodka? How long on average are these coils lasting and what ratio of PG & VG juice are you using? Don't think anyones had one long enough to ruin one yet, due to just how long they actually last. Been using one for two weeks now, and its still working flawlessly! I am using 80/20 PG/VG ratio though I believe. Awaiting a delivery of some much higher VG ratio juices (30/70) that should be here within the next few days, so I'll revisit this post whenever they finally decide to give in on me. As far as I can see though, from other peoples comments whilst using high VG liquids, they still work perfectly, and seem to have lasted everyone a while, as most people are still using the first coil then put in. Definitely worth the investment in my honest opinion, best thing I've purchased vape-wise Handy to know they last a while. Still on 20% at 4:50AM, over 36 hours in from full charge on Tuesday. Just measured the battery voltage with my multimeter: 3.50v no load and 3.44 under load (8.5 watt). Bugga it I'll have to get one now! Next month though cos I want another squape reloaded this month Still going strong mate, down to 10% now. Imagine what this will be like with a Sony VTC5 instead of the VTC4. You will have to get one now as the Squape will not overhang on the RDNA.

I'd grab a cheap soldering iron off ebay. Don't use superglue as when you do want to solder the wire back on the fumes from superglue are terrible when heated. Soldering the connection will give you a problem free connection again.

Camping mate, camping, relying on others is where we go wrong. What if the zombie apocalypse happens? Yeah what then? Anyhow that's only 2 weeks worth of batteries, with a couple of backups. P's if you think I'm paying 3-4 euros extra a day for leccy, not happening lol I didn't realise you have to pay that much for electric at a campsite, that sucks. Wonder if you can connect a small solar panel to a USB charger. It would worry me carrying all those batteries around in a hot car.

I don't think you've got enough batteries there! Quite right, there is another three to go in, bear in mind not all of those will fit in all of the mods, so got to have options lol Do you not have a charger?

Had mine 2 days and hoping these will get me away from cartomizers. They produce a similar saturated vape to a carto but with much more flavour than cartomizers. Interested how long the coils are going to last as cartomizers were lasting me about a week.

A case of you pay for what you get by the looks of it. Unfortunately to get to this low price point considering the technology in this mod, corners have to be cut somewhere. I have seen this mod advertised on this forum for less than £60.00

Very nice, it'd be interesting to know how the battery life compares from the lipo in the small shark to the vtc4 I will let you know when it dies on me. I'm fully charging the battery as we speak. Full charged the battery at 4.00PM on Tuesday 5th. Currently now Thursday 7th 2:15AM the battery indicator on the VS RDNA is on 30% remaining. Been vaping with the Aspire Mini Nautilus at 8.5 watts. The small shark would have lasted a little under 24 hours with the same power and atty. Also I found with the small shark when it got to 50% battery level it rapidly went to 0% usually within 1 1/2 hours. The new RDNA battery level indicator seems a lot more linear in this respect.

Also I've never used one a these forum thingys before, had a play about and even manage to add an Profile piccy. You learn something new every day xx
PS. Just hoping ive posted this correctly and its not lost in the big wide world of the tinternet x Welcome to the forum troglet and watch you don't make the same mistake as me when you start mixing your juices and make 600ml of base, then decide you need the nicotine stronger.

My cartomizer tanks are working a lot better on the RDNA than the small shark. There is a lot more airflow getting to the tank when screwed flush down. Might be useful info for the people who use tanks that need airflow through the 510 connector.
