To be truthful I'm thinking about having a go at just making up the vanilla custard and blackberry to start off with to get into it before I attempt a recipe. Don't know why as I follow cake recipes all thetime

Ok now I've done it. I've ordered a starter kit from the alchemists cupboard as a way to get into mixing. All of you who have encouraged members on this board to get into it do not know what you've let yourselves in for so please be patient icon_nervousI am now waiting on my kit arriving and will no doubt be bombarding the site with questions when it does. Already I'm wondering if I should get sweetener? Why and how do I use it? Being me I've not put a drop of liquid in a bottle and I'm already looking at various sites at their concentrates and wondering about them LOL.

Perpetua just seen this and went into their site and wondered what you thought about their offer of 5ml samples for food flavourings?

60/40 or 50/50 seems good. I'm no expert but have found through reading that the minority of people who have any probs through vaping seem to put it down to too much pg

"I think it is all utterly bloody barmy and I am watching with blank comprehension about what we are doing on e-cigarettes - these are a huge success with a big marketing potential for small shops and yet we are doing or best to ban them everywhere." Quote from an interview with Nigel Farage

I'm going back further than you but believe this works for win.7 as well. My old laptop gave up the ghost so was forced to get a new one with windows8 and absolutely hated it, so found computertutorflorida.com/2013/02/make-windows-8-look-like-windows-7-or-windows-xp/ followed the instructions here including the ones that try to get you to download other things BEWARE. and ended up with something to me a lot more user friendly. No doubt more computer savvy members will have an easier way to get to the same result but that's the way I did it.

Hi Arf, welcome onboard. I started mixing using a kit. It gave me the basics and meant that I didn't waste money buying the wrong stuff. Once I had the hang of it, I then splashed out on separate chemicals and have not looked back since. I just stick to a tobacco mix, a menthol mix and a few fruit juice mixes. But I must confess, I do have loads of other flavour concentrates that I will get around to trying someday!!! Anyways, keep reading on here and you will not go far wrong. Don't know if its just me but maybe a post listing what it was that you and others actually started off with and how they got on with it would encourage newbie wannabe mixers like myself and save us making the same mistakes of either over or under ordering various items and liquids? Arf was it maybe the drip tip on the mini protank?
