Hi Jackie :-) Yes I'm doing it that way now (altho we didn't get instructions with ours) - it's comforting to know there's a safety device if something shorts out isn't it. Hope you're enjoying it loads :-)
Quiet here today.................

Lilac you say - "as the way batts normally go in is with the battery flat end against the spring, if there is one..."
I'm now putting it in as Keef said to, ie, positive to spring, (not the flat end to spring) so am wondering how you're doing it.
If these batts are unprotected seems more important to be sure.
???

Thanks again 8-)Keef - really must mend my ways - gosh I leave everything unattended - must write myself yet MORE reminder notes I just have NO grasp of techie things - loved the old thermostats where you had to put in little blue & red lego type bits for on & off - now spend an hour in front of digital wonder-boy programmer going goggle eyed AND I like wind up car door windows (hate electronic - they have no precision control ) AND I want to be able to buy microwaves & washing machines WITH KNOBS & NOT touch control AND oh.... the list is endless - - - & don't get me started on cheque books which I love & no one accepts anymore!! Off to take deep breaths now (PS - Poor (((Lilac ))) drink barley water )

Not with the screwdriver models Lolli they are all - Nipple to the top/spring - bottom to the button. That's what I shall do then (wonder if it will perform differently - I've been sucking like crazy - lol ) Thanks very much Are the spider batties Lilac & I have protected ? (doesn't say on 'em & we had no instructions) Feel if anyone's likely to blow up their vaping equipment, it'll be me!!!

Do you think it harms the batteries if you leave them on charge all day, or longer!!! IE if you forget all about them!!!

Oh booo > every time I think I've got it cracked - turns out not so Just been catching up & reading this thread & realise I'm doing it incorrectly. Talking about the SDs Lilac & I have - I've been putting the battery in with the bobble (+) bit at the button end. Read somewhere the flat bit (-) should go the spring end. Reading the thread, looks like thats the wrong way round tho ??? Does it vary with different models ???

I am completely convinced after seeing that pic Chrissie - no longer lusting after AA batties!! Lilac said also, that those £1 adapters didn't look like they'd accommodate the SD charger - look the wrong shape entirely! (altho' they do!) BTW I AM LOVING THE SCREWDRIVER ACTION "Marley & me" - one of my fave films - need large box of tissues handy! - seen it twice now. The first time was 1 week after my daughter got her little golden lab puppy That film was like a glimpse of the future! The reality has not been that different - this week the 2nd dog flap has been wrecked, half the garden is in the hall, BT are coming to repair the phone wire, the garden lights are no more! & the cat (who is gorgeous) looks on in disgust & turns her back. But still she's only a (v large ) puppy! The flower photos are truly lovely BTW Enjoy your days off Lilac

Kate, been reading the letters - think what you've written is really brilliant too! :-)
Have done as you suggested & sent my verse off to MHRA - just now - recorded delivery!! (can't post it on the online thread myself as have already posted there - anyone on ECF welcome to use it tho - if there's anyone not posted to MHRA yet?)

Tightened the screw up - seems fine must've loosened in transit as you said (PO had it long enough after all ) Realise it wouldn't appeal to everyone, but I'd be very happy with AA x3 batteries - so .................local Checked e bay link - got 3 of those already but the holes are the wrong shape aren't they ??? Charger prongs are flat ???

Well............... I wouldn't call it "adjusting metal prongs" - more like DISCOVERING them embedded in the plastic bit Must have turned the thing over 20 times looking for anything plugable-inable They're dead flat with little holes in 'em! Hadn't a clue wot to do with it till I remembered my travel adapter Don't see how one of those shaving adapters would take it ??? (ROFL 'cause know I'm way past praying for but did get battie in right way round ) Why oh why cant they make atties that screw onto cases that in turn hold NICE NORMAL BATTERIES that I can get in Sainsburys ??? vapes well tho when switch co operates!
