I'm trying to get a sense of what's usual if people were going to be out for the day. Do you take extra batteries, or a charger, or both? Is there a reason to only carry disassembled parts and put them together as needed, or can you keep an extra PV loaded and ready to go? (That last one assumes that it's a manual AND that it's in some kind of case that'll keep the button from getting nudged I suppose.) How do you keep it together enough that you don't lose any bits?
Brought to you by my current attempt to make a better e-cig case for myself, and by killing off both batteries while out at the coffee shop and smoking an analog. (This actually made me fairly ill, which surprised me - it's been less than a week!)

I'm not going to be much help on this one Isla. For starters, I'm hardly ever out for a whole day. Secondly, my GG Grant has a locking button so I don't have to worry about it going off on it's own. Thirdly, the 14500 batteries it takes last at least half a day.
So if I am going out for any length of time. I just shove my fully assembled GG (locked) in a compartment in my handbag. A spare fully charged battery in a battery case, along with a spare atomiser & a small bottle of juice.

Hi Isla If i'm going out for the day, or working a 12hr shift, i take 2 spare batteries for my 901, or if i'm taking my SD, i'd only take 1 spare (just in case) i just carry the 901 in a pocket or my SD on a larnyard round my neck, i don't disassemble them, i carry a 5ml bottle of juice as well.

Isla, I was thinking yesterday what a heap of junk I have in my little ecig purse.
I must just say that I spend most of my day driving between jobs and cover a large geographical area, so I like to be prepared in case I can't get home at night (it's never happened yet!)
I was in Oxford yesterday at a training meeting and showing some acquaintances that I haven't seen for a while my little bag of tricks.
IN it was:
2 x DSE 901 1 x DSE 905 body 1 x silver screwdriver body 1 x gold screwdriver body 3 x spiderfire batteries for screwdrivers (fully charged) 4 x rechargeable batteries for 905 (fully charged) 6 x attys 7 x 10ml bottles of juice numerous cartridges, cat caps and cart condoms
IN my handbag was a spare Kensington battery
IN my car was another Kensington, my passthrough and the charger for my 901, plus various leads and a few more bottles of juice on the console.
I think I may need to declutter

I take my 401 PCC with two batteries and my 510 PCC with one battery. Both cases take spare carts and atties. Fox
