We need to ascertain whether OPs cough is caused by the actual vaping or a cough that has developed since starting vaping as it's not clear. If it's the former then getting better kit will make no difference.

Possibly a combination of 3 things:
1) Vape particles are a lot bigger than smoke particles. Remember how when you first started smoking you coughed? That's because smoke particles are bigger than air particles. It's the same situation now but with new particles. 2) Nicotine could be too high as previously mentioned. 3) It could be your body starting to get rid of the crap in your lungs. Lots of people that give up smoking feel rubbish and develop coughs and colds before they start to get better.

Seemed like a fairly reasonable question from a novice vaper and a simple No might have sufficed. It might have done but i thought that i might expand a little offer an insight into why OP was asking the question in the first place. There was no animosity aimed at OP, only the thought that not all bodily issues that occur after starting vaping could be attributed to vaping and the fact that OP has asked the question shows that people still don't trust that vaping doesn't have other side effects. Thanks to those with constructive comments. As it's well understood that giving up smoking can cause gum bleeding I just thought it may be similar / related. I can only assume that your comment is aimed at me and would you have thought better of a single rude sounding NO? Here's the abridged answer:No! Vaping has not caused this and it is more likely to be caused from; a spot, or an inflamed hair follicle. Happy Vaping.

cause it might be the only lifestyle change the op has made and has never had a issue like that before until they started using e cigs Or it could be a spot, or an inflamed hair follicle or OP has picked his nose and cut it with his fingernail..... The list goes on. My point was that it reminds us that some vapers still do not completely trust e-cigs. After all he wouldn't have thought that smoking had caused his condition even though it contains thousands more toxic and caustic chemicals.

Over the past few of weeks I've had a persistent "sore" on the inside of my nose. Doesn't bleed or anything, but its like a non healing scab on the bottom of the cartilage. Could this be as a result of vaping? I've been vaping for around 10 weeks so thought my body would have got used to it by now. Why would it be the result of vaping? There is nothing in e-liquid or the resulting exhaled vapour that would cause sores in just one place and not others such as your mouth. Posts like this remind us that vapers are still unsure of the effects of vaping and i welcome the paper that sorts it out once and for all. If you didn't vape, what would you assume had caused the sore on the inside of your nose?

Agreed but i thought that i would stay on the right side of litigation I still think it odd that they have hit the market after such time? The "story" was that production ceased when the Fukushima plant got trashed, they moved production to another country where the plant's various production streams were to come on line in stages. And who know how long they have (if indeed they are) been supplying OEMs, they are an OEM product not a retail product after all. True but there is always THIS

Whatever that seller says i'm still not convinced, more than one respectable vendor has been "had" with supposedly real VTC5's only to have to recall them later. The general opinion is that there are no real VTC5's in the UK and stocks have been exhausted since Sony stopped producing them a while ago. If they are indeed real ones then fine but it begs the question: "Why have they waited until now to sell them and considering the lack of them in the market, i would expect prices to be higher than those listed?" That lot in Wembley are not so respected and this in not the only occurrence linkAgreed but i thought that i would stay on the right side of litigation I still think it odd that they have hit the market after such time?

For me F1 has been crap for a while, it all started when they tried to make a dangerous sport safe, all the excitement goes. They are changing the rules again next year due to heavily dwindling viewers and a decline in track sales. For F1 to be exciting again they need to put all drivers in exactly the same cars. I understand that F1 is the gateway for testing new tech but i agree with OP that the races are won from the garage with there being a massive difference between cars. One of the worst rules that they bought it was the no re-fuelling, i mean WTF, we are now getting drivers "cruising" around the track so that they can finish, rubbish!

It looks like you've put the coils in posts 1+2 & 3+4 when they should be in 1+3 and 2+4 so that the coils are in front of the holes - this is not be helping the heat situation. Ohms that low need a ton of airflow to cool the vape, as others have already stated you might try starting at higher ohms cos the questions that you are asking indicate that you don't know what you are doing. Sorry to be blunt but it's better that than lose some fingers. Don't go anywhere near the 22AWG, you'll be at seriously low ohms and the dangers increase rapidly nearer the super sub-ohm levels. The airflow NEEDS to be fully open at these resistance levels or the vape will be like lava, especially if airflow isn't set correctly. Wicking needs to be right, not too tight, not too loose and don't expect to be taking long inhales any time soon, short sharp bursts until you get used to it. IMO the CLT is an advanced cloud chasing RDA and not suitable for first time users but as long as you're utilising safe battery practises then it'll juts be a case of a bit of tweaking and getting used to it.
