Hello.
as always safety is a main concern.
I'm searching for safe to vape colourings liquids.
E.g. i want to give a yellow color in my lemon recipe. Is there some substances available that i may use. Haven't been able to find something online.
Thanks in advance.

Hello.
some notes here after a week of steeping.
I've to say is required.
My initial thought was that is ready to go liquid which it's ok. But after a week of steeping i get a far better result.
The lemon flavor is now more "rounded" and the absinthe seems to be far far present but still on the background. Very very happy with the result as it has a more mellow finish.
Best regards

Hi qsplan , already have some homemade concentrates on the basement. Though i've used everclear for extraction. I've tried with PG and takes 3-4 times more to achieve an extraction. I've found out that with alchohol is faster (around 2-3 weeks) and the taste aroma is outstanding. The method i'm using is the following: 1. Around 3 weeks with 100% proof vodka 2. The solution is diluted with filter paper grade 1 3. The final clean liquid is mixed with PG. My sweet spot is around 10% , 1 part concentrate with 9 parts pg I've tried with vanilla Madagascar , vanilla Tahiti, Ceylon cinnamon. I don't know about coffee (not a concentrate fan). good luck with Pita Gyros

Hi guys.
my 2 cents on some biscuits i've used and a query if there is something i should try. I look for a more sweet taste , not the dry one.
Inawera Biscuit. It's good but it has a more dry buttery taste. Looks good to use as a secondary flavour though it's very dry for main ingredient or 50-50 mix.
Flavourart. Better aroma , though weaker and more of a dough taste. Good to add a crusty feel to the blend but again can't be the main ingredient of the recipe as it masks everything else IMO.
Capela. Sugar cookie. The best i've tasted so far. Close to what i want but i hope there is something better.
I also expect my Sweet Biscuit from UK Flavours (haven't used that yet).
Best regards Miltos

lexs1411 Good stuff i love lemon as well. Try this experiment. Make two separate mixes , one lemon , one for Orange. Let the bottles with the lid of for one day and then mix them together.

Hello Sarah (@ukflavours) , happy to listen that you may ship to Greece (before we return to drachma - lol). Anyway , i have an encyclopedic question as it's good to learn from the pros. I've noticed on the custards page that you state Note: This flavour contains 'custard' ingredients: Acetoin & Acetylpropionyl. My question is if all cream flavors have those chemicals. Because i've seen some other producers that they don't state that. Best regards:) Miltos Good morning miltiadesOOooo I do love question Many of the creamy flavours like custard, butterscotch, toffee's etc have a buttery note to obtain the flavouring and because of this they will either contain Diacetyl, Acetoin and or Acetylpropionyl or Butyric Acid. Having said I understand that Capella are doing a Custard Flavour which is Diacetyl/Acetoin & Acetylpropionyl free, but whether it is replaced with Butyric Acid I could not tell you. You will find this particular flavour from Capella does taste different from those without the chemical in them as it has lost the buttery taste most of us are accustomed too. Please note, suppliers who do not provide this information are not necessarily safer - they're just not telling you. What you find is that majority of companies DO NOT put the full details of what is contained in the flavour, so please be aware it DOESN'T MEAN IT WILL NOT CONTAIN IT !! Any reputable company if asked will know if any flavouring they sell contains either of the above and should be able to answer any question if you ask. Take a look at our info page which explains in more detail about these compounds and the risks. www.ukflavours.com/content/8-e-liquid-info?live_configurator_token=fde97dde6c3cf7bd6ed109f98c3aaced&id_shop=1&id_employee=1&theme=&theme_font=I hope this has answered your question and happy to help if needed Sarah Good Morning Sarah, many many thanks for the answer. As most of us we smoked for long time and we have caused far biggest damage to our health i agree with Perpetua that some issues are overrated , though is good to know instead of not knowing at all. And better to have the opinion of a professional like @ukflavours instead of some blogger or friend. Cheers for late night time spent:)

Hello to all. i was tweaking for a month now a recipe that i wanted for cold days with intense flavor and a good cleaning of the system:) Caution! This is a tank ripper so better to be used in a dripper of steel tank.
My main ingredient as you see on the card is Lemon from Inawera , it was chosen as it has a more crispy flavor which i like most and hides better the Absinth. I've used it with variations of Lemon Sicily and Lime , all are good , it's just a matter of how intense you want the lemon on your recipe. I prefer it to be overpowering so i used the Inawera one. Steeping : zero time actually - though day 2 was milder Both Koolada and Menthol are homemade. No alcohol used in the solution. 90% PG and 10% Koolada Powder for Koolada and 50% Menthol - 50% PG for the Menthol. Vanilla is from Inawera & Cinnamon Ceylon from FA. The Ceylon has a better taste IMO , smoother than others that you may find. Though a common Cinnamon after 6-7 days of steeping goes smoother. MethodologyBase 1: Lemon + Absinthe + Menthol + Koolada along with the PG / VG Base 2: Cinnamon + Vanilla Base 1 ingredients mix well for one day , the lemon masks the absinthe. It's there one day after but hidden behind the lemon. The same happens with menthol as well. It's there but Lemon neutralizes the flavors. After Day 1 you mix base 1 + base 2 adding Ethyl Maltol or other sweetener. The sweetener is used to cut the edges of the very strong solution with the Lemon. So you have the flavors but it makes the liquid vapable for more time. The Vanilla in that small percentage makes also the Cinnamon a bit smoother so it has the same effect. Strong Stirring (a good shaking) and you ready to go... Personally i'm very happy for the result (as they say the fish you catch is the most tasty one) as i've managed to have the coolness but not in a harsh way. Enjoy...

Costa,
make a test with Vanilla Tahiti from FA , it's more fruity , i've already prepared three variations of Q's recipe and the one with Vanilla Tahiti seems more promising. I will let it to rest for one week and see the final result.
Good stuff there Q Very smooth , even if i don't know what Melipona is:)
