If your happy where you are save the money you can spend a great deal of time and money chasing something better and usually end up frustrated and less satisfied. Making your own juice is a good idea cheaper, better and individually suited to you plus iIfind it relaxing so iI think everyone should do it lol.
Got to say as well because I'm seeing it a lot subtanks are just as good mouth to lung as they are direct lung I've got two keeping my lemos company and I only mouth to lung 1.8ohm on the rba section they kick out flavour and vaper very satisfying vape.

Bit late to this but good luck on the mixing it's not that hard if I can do it and I tend to do it when my pain is bad I find mixing quite relaxing and having to concentrate on it takes my mind off the pain for a couple of hours haven't really got the "small batch at a time" thing worked out I tend to work in half litres . Hope your not in too much pain too often as i know how much it can drag you down sometimes so take your time and take care.

I've got two subtanks I use 50\50 rba section in one and 70%pg\30vg 0.5 ohm head in the other I'm a mouth to lung vaper and the tanks have performed very well check your airflow setting on the tank as wide open does reduce the affect. Also check rba\coil is fully screwed down on one of mine I screwed in the head till it stopped vape wasn't very good had a look and there was a burr on the threading removed that and it screwed in a lot more and vape was what I'm used to. Also what % are you mixing the flavours at? for standard ukflavours I use 25% and 20% for triple strength. Check the orings on the tank as well all mine have been fine but some people have reported poor orings that weren't creating a tight seal. What mixing calc are you using as some of them are way off at times few things that might help.

Got some blackcurrant steeping at the minute figured I'd give it a week then try it mixed at 25% I like the option to buy 100ml bottles.

Give ukflavours a try so far I've liked all the fruit ones I've bought peach, strawberry, grape, orange, black cherry and have a couple more coming this week. The strawberry is lush both me and the wife like that very ripe taste to it also really liked the grape very floral odour to it but very nice. I find 25-30% for standard strength and 20% for triple strength gives good strong flavour but I do like my liquid strong tasting so adjust to taste. For the price they are great concentrates and even if you don't like them they will be capable till you get shot.

Pg is our saviour from colds and other nasties when I smoked beginning of winter every year I would have really bad chesty cold that would drag on two or three weeks always needed antibiotics to get over it, went to see my gp couple of months ago and he commented that he hadn't seen me for that for a couple of years and I reminded him I was now vaping and he just nodded smiled and told me that pg would sort it out. Hope you get better soon furbs and if your using the time to get rid of some bad juice first time you feel a bit better swap to one of your usual juices nothing worse then a period of no taste then those little buds waking back up and your vaping some nasty lol.

Got another of the v1 subtank in the post and don't regret it seeing this as I'm happy with the original and maybe I'm missing out on a bit more airflow but hasn't been an issue so far and 5-6ml is about as much of one flavour as I want to vape another 1.5ml would bring on vapers tongue faster for me .

£25 really rules out the decent mods so hard to recommend anything I find you get out what you put in and whilst I'm a cheapskate oin liquid making my own I invest a tidy amount into hardware and battery's. Istick 50 nearest to your limit I'd recommend £40 from myepack.

Muji cotton is what I use got it off Amazon listed as puff 200 pads for £8 gonna last me a while and so far it's really good wicks well, nice clean taste and very easy to work with. Soon as my new subtank arrives be swapping over to the RTA section and getting some in that .

How new are you tooly ? mech mods are for more experienced vapers and for a little further down the road from where you seem to be, not trying to be a killjoy but too many people these days are rushing headlong into sub ohm and mech mods and don't have the experience\knowledge to do it safely. Add to that these days an extremely satisfying vape can be had with medium wattage regulated mods such as the istick50, ipv 2s, ipv 3, sigelei 50w v2 or sigelei 100+ with a relatively simple tank like the lemo\drop or kanger subtank. Going the mech route means a lot of researching on things like battery safety and ohms law to start with I went the regulated path and although I've tried mech mods i get a more consistent vape from the regulated mods.

Agree with perp istick's are nice and easy and either 30 or 50w would be more then enough for her they are so user friendly perfect for less experienced vapers or people that just want a minimum hassle vape .

If the rebuildable section was included id be all over this but making it a separate purchase irks me and given the fantastic experience my subtank has been I'd rather get another one of them.

Another vote for the lemo neither of mine leak nor do I expect them to as long as I don't screw up the wicking and given how forgiving the lemo is with wicking that's not easy. My subtank doesn't leak either with rba section but some people seem to have a problem with them Ithink if the wicking is good most tanks are pretty good.
