Hi @yavape Yes I'm a newbie and I'm currently only using the £1 LiQuid, 24mg Strength = 65% PG / 35% VG. I want high nicotine and maximum throat hit the moment and will reduce on my next order. I guess it's probably a symptom of having more of a dry throat.

Hi guys ... I've already said that I use the £1 juice BUT I'll say this: The FIRST time I tried them I was definitely underwhelmed! I wasn't impressed with any of them. However, I was new to vaping and it was only after I perservered and tried them a few times that I really got to like them! I guess it's part of the transition process. Vaping is different to smoking and I found that my brain took a while to get re-progammed! I love the British & Premium!

Hi guys ...I don't have a sore throat but definitely have a new gravely croaky edge to it. Does anyone else have a "new voice"???

Hi @yavape, It only took me 9 days to make the complete transition from stinkies to vaping! I woke up on the 9th morning and actually "craved " for my Kanger EVOD and not the rollies! I couldn't really believe how quick the process was and NEVER EVER thought I could give up the stinkies! I'm loving some of the tobaccos at Liquid, particularly British and Premium. And for £1 a bottle it's a great price! What I love about this forum is all the really hardened, long-term smokers who have managed the transition to vaping. And for me personally, I couldn't have done it without all the help, advice and support of a great bunch of guys in this forum! Onwards and upwards!!!

resistance / no resistance Basically means the actual coil can be made bigger for the same ohms using the same size wire & because the legs of the coil don't get hot there's less chance of a burning taste from the insulator in the base of the atomizer. Aaaah ...I see!! Still on the subject of coils, I'm having a look over on FT for ready made coils (another possible option I'm considering). I want to use them in a Kanger EMOW and Mini Protank 3. I understand the difference between RDA and RBA and so far, I can only find ready made coils for RDAs. Can anyone supply a link on FT for ready made coils suitable for my Kangers? Many thanks in advance. No worries found what I'm looking for!

If you make/buy a decent microcoil and look after it they last months not weeks. Make you sure you dry burn them to clear the gunk off the coil and be gentle when changing the wick and they just keep trucking. Thanks for that dreamylittledream, The thing I'm still struggling to understand is how does one make a decent microcoil and how does Virtual Vape's Unicoil differ from the Kanger coils that many on here make themselves? I haven't tried making my own yet but have got all the gear ready and will probably have a go this week. Back to Virtual Vape's Unicoil ... what makes them so good that they cost £4.49 each? Is it anything to do with the materials they use? I'd be quite happy to pay £4.49 for a coil that could possibly last months but I just want to understand what makes them different?

There's surely got to be something special about them at £4.49 each!

mikemichelle, making coils involves, knowledge, dexterity, good eye sight, equipment and determination. Not everyone wants/ are able to coil themselves so the unicoil provides for that market. I don't think they are better than home made in all circumstances. Probably better than my coils though In other threads, some guys are saying these unicoils last up to 6 weeks! I just thought they must be made of something "different".

I got my £1 e-liquids today. A review will follow soon enough on 3 tobaccos, 3 mints/menthols and 3 fruits. The good news so far is in term's of quality and taste they are perfectly fine. Seriously, very impressed so far. I wasn't too keen on the menthol!

On the matter of coils, I think a lot of you guys use Virtual Vape Unicoil. My question is what makes this coil so special and why can't we make our own unicoil (seeing as many people make their own coils)? Is it some sort of special wire? Why does it last longer than "standard " home made coils?

Hi @vickywood I've only been off the stinkies for 3 weeks now so quite new still. I only use onepoundliquid.com and I think they're great personally. I still wanted to have the "smoking" feel and they "do it" for me! I really like British Tobacco, Premium Tobacco and Virginia. I've also bought RY4 but haven't tried it yet. Being new off the stinkies, I've only bought 24mg and I find them a great throat hit and plenty of cloud. It's quite weird but when I first tried them I didn't think much of it and was worried "it wouldn't work" for me after 40 years on the stinkies. It took me 9 days to go through the "transition" and adjust to vaping. But on the 9th morning I woke up craving my EVOD and not the stinkies. I guess it's different for everyone how they adjust to vaping. But now I could never go back to the stinkies ... EVER!!! All the very best!!!
