Lesson learnt for me: only deal with companies on the AAEC vendors list!

I've not come across them before mikemichelle & they certainly wouldn't get vendor status on here as they are breaking Distance selling regulations as they have no contact details. What is it showing for you under the "order status" tab? Hi ChrissieApologies but with all the "excitement" I overlooked your question. The weird thing here is I went to check the "order status tab" and the order had been marked as "shipped" (9 days ago). Cutting a long story short, I just went and opened a dispute in PayPal and literally a few minutes later, the order status had changed to "refunded". Go figure ....?!

I've just "discovered" (I had forgotten ... duhhhhh!!!) that my order was actually paid through PayPal. I thought I had just made a credit card payment outside of PayPal. Right ... now I can formally start a claim to get my money back!

mikemichelle don't chuck the used heads, when you've got a few I'll recoil them for you. All the best! As the above! Hi prrHow rude of me not to respond to your very kind offer to recoil my head(s) ! With all the excitement of no longer being a stinky person I've got completely carried away buying gear and accessories etc. Much as I am tempted to take you up on your offer, I think I'm going to have a go at recoiling the heads myself. If I'm absolutely hopeless at it and get stressed out and moderately suicidal during my attempts I may well get back to you! But a huge "THANK YOU" in the meantime!

It just seemed that for under a £5 it will do what I want it to do albeit with some bells and whistles. My main concern was getting something as cheaply as possible as I seemed to have spent quite a lot on my new toys and setting up my new hobby!

Basically I'll go with the advice on here as I'm pretty clueless technically. It just seemed that it could do "other things" as well and seemed a great price. However, having thought about it a bit more, I'm not sure how I would connect to it whereas what you're suggesting has the 510 connectors. Having said that, how would I connect to it? Amy ideas?

Lastly, I'm a bit ignorant when it comes to buying stuff from FastTech USA. Do you have to pay any extra charges if someone like Customs gets hold of it? It's just that I remember buying something a few years ago from the USA and I got hit with some extra charges (can't remember what and why)! fasttech is in China not USA so it's all good, you won't get any extra charges id recommend using paypal rather than a card. Thanks for correcting my geography (or lack of it)! Why PayPal and not a card? I thought a card offers better protection if there's a problem receiving your goods. I'm a bit on edge about not getting what I've paid for (see my other thread here) so a bit sensitive at the mo!

FT always put a really low value on the customs declaration and say it's a gift. I've ordered hundreds of pounds worth of gear from FT and never had a customs charge and never heard of anyone else have one from them either Thanks for that Lairey - I'll wang in my orders!

Hi guys,
I'm in the process of putting together a re-coiling kit. I'm very new to all this but I have an Eleaf Istick. Can the Istick be used for calculating the ohms of my coils or do I need a separate ohms tester to do the job? If I can use the Istick, how do I use it?
Also, if you someone could recommend a good/suitable blow torch to use I'd be grateful for any suggestions.
While I'm on the subject, the last things on my list are the wool and Kanthal. Any good deals you know of?
Thanks for the help! Great forum and great bunch of people!
