Hi gelI get my spares direct from Aspire. Postage is a killer so I wait until I want several things. I have some of the insulators. If you need any before my next order with Aspire just send me a PM and I'll send you a few. When I'm ready to make an order from Aspire I'll start a thread to enable others to tell me what they want and I'll do the order and post the stuff on when it arrives. lairey thanks for the tag smifee your a real gent . I am not in desperate need of the insulators but would really appreciate you making a thread when you re-order from Aspire. Being optimistic on the Nautilus tanks them selves, the insulators are my real weak link. I should think, providing the tanks hold out, a 100 insulators will see me in to my box kind regards, Gel.

Thanks lairey, not the first time you have given me help, what is the best way to contact smifee please. He'll see the tag and pop on striker42... IIRC he got a load of spare parts when a friend was in the US, but may be able to point you to somewhere closer to home Thanks lairey, your a brick.

Hoping I have picked the right board . I have 3 x Nautilus (5ml) tanks which I re-wick and now and again re-coil with Kanthal .32 wire. Having 14 x bvc Nautilus coils, my weak link is the coil rubber insulators, which will need replacing at some point. Try as I may I am unable to find a supplier of latter. Should a kind folk on the forum have a link to Nautilus coil insulators I would be very grateful, kind regards , Gel.

Good morning folks, is it just me or is the mix calculator freezing up. I log in, all O.K. but as soon as I click on recipes or my recipes I get a white screen with bottles on. I've tried creating a recipe and clicking save which it says, is saved, but again when I click on my recipes it freezes again. Any help would be very gratefully excepted, Oh, to make things worse, I know as much about nuclear submarines as I do about computers, kind regards Gel

Hi lairey, not being a Vodka drinker myself, could you advise on whether any brand of Vodka is O.K. for diluting V.G. please. I am having the same problem as reddragon since changing my V.G. supplier, current V.G. is a lot thicker. Having worked with V.G. all my life the latter thickness is the same as supplied to the food trade. I am wondering if some Vodka's have a detrimental flavour for diluting V.G., regards, Gel. I normally use either Green Mark or Russian Standard as that is what I tend to have in the house. Both are 40% and I think you can buy small half bottles of either in large Tesco. Although as I buy it by the litre, I could be mistaken about the small bottle bit Thanks lairey, am putting my coat on. I had a very nice Liquorice/Anise mix going , but since changing my V.G. & P.G. supplier and buying the Liquorice & Anise in larger quantities it seems the wheels have dropped off , a bit bland.

Just a thought reddragon, prompted by reading beetle's post... I dilute my VG with roughly 10% vodka. Not sure if it makes a difference as I have done this since I started mixing. Maybe worth a shot? Not sure if it will help HAPPYLOMAN but I came off of a pipe after 53 years and only been going about two months with liquid. Tried a few tobacco pre-mixes, very touch and go, then started to mix my own liquid. First one I mixed, not my recipe, was Liquorice/Anise at 10% respectively, never looked back. From first thing in the morning to last thing at night I love it, so glad I persevered. With 4oz of pipe tobacco in a draw at home on tap and NO temptation to use it I feel.............epic. What I am trying to say is, perhaps another flavour with just a hint of tobacco will do the trick for you until you are happy to leave the tobacco flavours behind. Very best of luck with your search, I truly respect you for your determination, regards, Gel.

Thank you Perpetua, I was an old time baker with a smoking pipe, ( would never go back to it ) for many moons, before I sold up and retired, I need to mix, I need to mix . I was so chuffed with my first effort I think I have the bug. I will try the Cupcake World Chestnut concentrate along with a few more flavours , hope to get back with the results. Such a lot of really helpful folk on this forum, still a bit amazed, regards, Gel.

Thank you igual, I have the Oakwood concentrate in my wish list with Flavour Art for the new year, together with some other concentrates. I'm trying to get that nutty taste just before the pipe needed cleaning.

Could some kind person point me in the right direction, if it exists, to a Chestnut woody type concentrate please (ex pipe smoker). Just mixed my first mix (not really my recipe) done on written advise on (f/a) site, Liquorice/Anise, having a job to put it down, I'm addicted, it will make nic target all most redundant for me. I used some Bite Xtra from f/a, really does do what they claim, just in time for Christmas, regards, Gel.
