Well Chrissie they are only suggestions but I do think the forum needs to come into the 21st century.  If the main board is too cluttered which I think it is then in my opinion newbies won't spend the time.  But a poll is on the go so the majority will decide.  Ken. x |

OK Chrissie vote in.
Now I am not a forum expert but just a few thought that I have :
A seperate newbies board. The place to say hello and ask questions.
Best bargain board. The place to add links for any offers that members see.
The lighter side board. For jokes and humour, funny pics etc. Hissie has already started a thread on this so that could be the start point for posts.
The old dead threads board does not sound right to me. Think this may look better if it was named Archives.
As i said just some thoughts to give you food for thought Chrissie.

Newbies take note: If you buy a normal 510 atty and you have watched the videos regarding vaping then yes take a 5 or 6 second draw.  If you buy an LR atty which is brilliant for vaping, only take a 2 second draw otherwise you will maybe get a little spaced out. Ken. |

I don't get the need for the gurt long draws Kenny, the little chugs I do are more than enough for me to get the necessary 'hit' . . . . is it a machismo thing I wonder, who can blow the biggest smoke ring malarkey. Well I was a chain smoker before I found ecigs so it's a question for me . . . if I'm at home then I'll happily chain vape just because I can but if I'm at work where I can't vape ( easily ) then I absolutely don't get the nicotine cravings I had if I went without a ciggie for more than an hour. Did I manage to not answer your question at all! Good answer Perpy darling and interesting. Okay, watched a few videos on vaping and the guys were taking 5,6,7 second draws on a 510 atty. Why? I use a sexy Tordado as you know Perpy with a TW atty and I find a 2 second draw from it will give me more plumes of vapor than a ciggy ever did. What I would worry about is the light smoker who becomes a vaper and watches the videos and looks at views on some forums and decides that because vaping is less harmful that its okay to chain vape even though they are increasing their nicotine dependency. Okay guys, just thoughts passing through my mind. On different forums I notice the large number of people who have started vaping and wanting to find more vaper, more throat hit, more nic hit, longer vapes 6-7-8 second draws, and are chain vapers. Does this mean that these vapers if they ever had to become cigarette smokers again would become possibly chain smokers when they had not been before and is this a cause for concern.  Just something for you to think about and looking forward to your answers. Ken. |

Kenny, I agree & that's how I first started to set up this board ie, with several different sub boards on the home page. However, at the time, the majority of the members didn't like it. We had moved from an eBay group & they were all just used to the old eBay format of all threads being in just one place. Maybe a poll to see what the majority would now like? I think a poll would be an excellent idea Chrissie as I think the forum needs to move with the times especially if you want to attract new members. Ken. x |

Well thats strange Lisa...I'm getting plumes of vapour!! I mean loads of the stuff with both atty's In fact, after watching vids etc of ppl doing long controlled vapes, I nearly choked doing that and had to reduce the length of puff to almost that of a normal cig!! But I definitely can't find an LR on either of them. Does yours have any taste you weren't expecting? Of can you just taste the tobacco/flavour? Well done to you tho!! Always, sounds like an LR Atty to be sure. I am using an LR Atty with my Tornado and you really only need a 2 second draw not a 5 or 6 sec draw like they show on the vids. Ken. |

No offence, but I wouldn't really suggest a juice like vanilla if your just starting out. I think you would've been better off going for one of James' tobacco juices which arn't as sickly sweet, or even his grape. Depending on whether your juice is pg or vg, you could always "water" it down with flavourless pg or vg juice. This will dilute the taste however it will also dilute nicotine content too. I think vg can be bought in Boots or supermarket. The others can confirm this Hissie is right, flavours like vanilla or cinnamon unless you really love them can cling to your atty and it can take maybe 3 days before you get rid of the taste and no amount of washing out will get rid of it. More than happy to set up a review section. Also more than happy to set up any other separate sections if that's what people want. Hope you don't mind me saying Chrissie but I think Perfectionist talked a lot of sense regarding different sections for different topics, a bit like UK Vapers really as it is getting harder to find posts on the forum. I don't want to be a damp squib here ladies but if I'm not mistaken the pipe in question the 601 is the pipe that OK Smokey has recently stopped selling as it is not reliable and needs too many parts replacing too often. George recently informed his customers about this and is trying to get his own more reliable model created. Ken. |
