My Riva 510 is here

Hey,
The Riva arrived this morning and am currently charging the batteries. A couple of questions for you though, I thought there was primer fluid in the atty that needs blowing out, well, I have blown till I'm blue in the face and nothing has appeared. Also how do I tell what one is the LR atomizer, there is nothing on them to tell me :-[

some atties have a lot of primer, some have not much, personally i've never bothered blowing it out, it wears off quickly anyway...

It should have LR on it, just above the threads where you screw it into the battery

I agree with Lilac, I've hardly ever had to blow out an atty.

All of my LR atties have LR in gold lettering on the side of them. However I've heard that some have the LR embossed inside the battery connection end.

No sign of LR anywhere, I will have to wait for the kids to get home and they can look for me :-)

I've got a cheap loupe (magnifying eye-glass, in case you haven't come across the term). I must look a very peculiar trying to focus it. A long time ago we were reading the legends inside the screw ends of the batteries to see what factories they came from and when they were made.

Keep going Li5A - it does get easier as you learn a bit more about your equipment, what it does, how etc. Big learning curve, but well worth it.

Well done Lisa....I'm not doing so well as just can't get rid of the sweet plasticy taste....have had 3 analogues since this morning...(ok better than would have normally but still am disappointed).
Did you get your riva from LF?? As I also can't find my LR atty!

What filling are you using Always?

Did it come into contact with the vanilla ejuice, will be worth washing it out if it did.

If you want to try a LR atty, please PM me as I've a couple spare from the Eastmall order, got to go out now . . . . but don't worry we'll get you sorted.

Had 10 blank carts came with the riva - have used a different cart for each liquid and have blown atty out when changing....so filling didn't come into contact with the vanilla....

Hi Always, I did get my Riva from LF and I have emailed them regarding the LR atty, I can't see anything on them at all saying LR. Will let you know there response.

I have no idea about the taste you are getting, I'm not even sure I'm doing it right, the videos I have seen people get huge amounts of vapour, well not me.

Well thats strange Lisa...I'm getting plumes of vapour!! I mean loads of the stuff with both atty's In fact, after watching vids etc of ppl doing long controlled vapes, I nearly choked doing that and had to reduce the length of puff to almost that of a normal cig!!

But I definitely can't find an LR on either of them.

Does yours have any taste you weren't expecting? Of can you just taste the tobacco/flavour?
