I'm playing safe at the moment Scylla. Have only ordered menthol flavor from cloud 9 but want to try some of James juices next.

As you say a bit of extra vaping won't do me any harm and maybe the wife who is a non smoker will stop complaining about me smelling like an ashtray.

It will be good for her to as she has had to put up with me for 44 years.

Personally I have never met anyone who vaped. I think I must have lived a fairly sheltered life because I had never heard about e cigs.

The first it came to my attention was on another forum related to Living in Greece there was a chap who wanted to know if he could carry his ecig stuff in his hand luggage.

So I thought, this is new, put ecigs into google and up came this forum.

I thought great, the gods are with me sort of thing, read the forum threads,placed an order which I am patiently waiting on and that was that.

Why is there not more advertising about ecigs?

I have learned a lot from this forum ref vaping and am patiently waiting for my 510 starter pack from Cloud 9 so have a few questions to ask.

1/. I have read a lot of stuff about people who prefer to drip direct unto the atys and others who prefer to fill the carts.
If you drip say two drops of eliq unto an atty how long would it last,10 puffs, 20 puffs?
Is it more economical to do this or better to fill the carts?

2/.The other confusing thing for me is the battery lasting time from full charge. In the 510 I think someone said that the batery can last 2-3 hrs.
Does this mean hours in puffs like 10 puffs = 1 cig takes 50 seconds so battery should last for 30 cigs or does this mean that the battery starts and continues to discharge over say three hours whether you use it or not?

Sorry if the question sounds strange but 1. I like to research as much as possible before starting a new project and 2. I,m Irish so the questions might sound strange anyway.

The e cig, juices etc have been dispatched by Cloud 9 yesterday so probably will not receive them until late this week early next.

When I get them I will keep you posted as to how I get on with them.

I have ordered some juices as well from Cloud 9 so step one is to find out if I can make the switch.
If everything goes to plan I will email you and we can come to some arrangement as your juices seem to be highly recommended here and I will need more supplies.
At the minute I have only ordered menthol flavor as I want to steer away from tobacco tastes if I can and I don't think I could get on with anything sweet.

Thanks for the welcome folks you do seem to be a friendly bunch.

I don't have any questions at this stage as I have spent a bit of time checking out the tips and tricks on this site.

No doubt when I get my kit and juices that may change and its good to know that I can get support here.

I don't really want to stop smoking and that has always been a problem for me so vaping looks like a healthy alternative.

For the first time in my smoking history I am getting quite excited at the prospect of getting off tobacco and having a healthier smoke. Don't know if that makes sense but its how I feel.
